CAI A Cardiovascular and Arrhythmia Institute reviews
5 UPDATE; I can’t believe this! I was scheduled for a follow up appointment on Tuesday, and they just called me to find out if I have had my cholesterol test with Simon Med or Smile. I told her my insurance does not cover those facilities. She said well you can order the test…it’s $75. I said I can’t afford that, because I live on Social Security. She said ok then, we will cancel your appointment! The girl I spoke to was very cold and had ZERO customer service skills, and could care less I’m on such a tight budget. This place it seems could care less about patients…they showed their true colors today! This is absolutely absurd that in order to see a cardiologist I have to get this test that I can’t afford along with my co-pay my insurance requires. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I have also reduced my stars from 2 to 1. I would give a minus zero if I could!
I can only give 2 stars because sone of the employees are great, especially Kaitlyn and Dr Lichtenwalter. My problem with this place is they tell you they will call with results and don’t causing increased stress, they say they will fax over test results and don’t! There was a 2 week period between the end of my testing till I went in for results, but they still didn’t have all the results to give me. I had a pre op appointment with my orthopedic surgeon yesterday, and he needed results of my echo and stress tests to be sure I was a good candidate for surgery. I told CAI about this appointment and the time of my appointment, and was assured they would fax over the report right away. It never arrived. The Hampton office was great, but I don’t recommend the Country Club office due to lack of organization.
Came in for a nuclear stress test. Must say everyone was awesome! Couldn’t of been in better hands. Thank you to the entire staff.
Front desk girl was a terrible experience to begin with, from when I checked in to when I checked out. While I was trying to schedule a follow-up appointment, she rudely told me to wait and sit, but then takes a personal call in front of me. She was using foul, vulgar language. Even though I was the only one in the waiting area, its very inappropriate so I calmly talked to her and asked politely to refrain from that language and she in a nasty tone replied "just report me, if you don't like it, report me! " So that is what I am doing, nobody should be treated this way especially in Healthcare. I felt so disrespected, she was really mean to me and couldn't reciprocate talking to me like a person. The doctor and rest of the staff were kind and listened to me however even so this rep gives the office an overall bad experience unfortunately.
Dr. Shukla is a very compassionate cardiologists that really cares about his patients. I trusted him with my life and he saved it.
