This church is amazing! The word of God is ONLY taught here straight out of the KING JAMES VERSION. Pastor Ron speaks the truth and only the truth. There is "NOT" anything made up. Zero nonsense spoken here. Everone at the church is welcoming and loving. A wonderful church family of caring true Christians.

Beware before you consider attending this church. Truth needs to be said. It is my opinion the pastor works hard to brainwash people onto his personal beliefs verses teaching the word. I have witnessed him lie while standing on the pulpit. Specially, state things that are not what scripture says and lies, gossips about people that have left the church attempting to poison the congregation. This man is a radical, who is controlling and belittles when questioned. His wife has voiced their family is hurting and is broken as her grown kids from previous relationships don't care for him. He failed to implement interventions for members, but then again what does one expect when he can't dedicate the time to fix his own family. The Hazelwoods state they are being persecuted by the community, but clearly it is not case. They need to humble themselves to the Lord, and ask for his forgiveness.

I attended Calvary Kearny for 6 months. It sadden me when it became apparent I had leave because I knew I would miss some of the members. I had no clue, that pastor knew for months, that a family member of mine had made some bad choices (I was completely clueless) and he did not implement an intervention for this person that could have possibly prevented the disastrous outcome, before I sadly found out. On a separate note, when I left the church he spoke negatively of my family and made some false comments while standing on the pulpit. Members, recorded his comments. I too have recorded his services and can say that he has made some statements that go against what scripture says. I can say that our "falling out, " occurred one week prior to the above, when I questioned some of his statements made during a Sunday service. Hopefully, pastor will self evaluate his actions of always expressing his negative opinions of people who choose to leave the church (Sadly, I am not the first), and watch over the flock that God has made him accountable for. I realize that he is human (flesh). I don't expect him to apologize to me, and I know he would never humble himself to do that, but I can only hope that he humbles himself to the Lord Jesus Christ and ask for forgiveness as families were hurt by his comments and lack of action.

The person dictating and dominating everything would be immediately fired by Chuck Smith. A Hillbilly, illiterate Pentacostal, with absolutely no real Calvary Chapel Leadership at all. Close this down today, and stop any further abuse. The Pastor requires a recovery program. The Church I am involved with brought 150,000 new conversions to Christ in 2020, and increased online participation to over 3 million, and still growing. Quite a contrast.

I attended this church for a few months. Unfortunately, after awhile you start witnessing things that a person leading a church shouldn't do. Bewilderment and bashing of people, confidential information being spoken to the congregation in a "general" sense during bible studies and services. All of this with what one can only describe as a "holier than thou" type attitude. For a more specific Idea refer to Mathew 23: 1-39

The Lord is always working. The people are so loving and welcoming. The Pastor is always saying God's words.

I believe that this Pastor is plagiarizing from a single book. If you dont believe me you can look for yourself. But a copy write claim has been started from the publishing company so we can see what the future holds for Pastor Ron. Other than that i loved the little church and the people but, being lead by a MAN who is not taking his job seriously!
