Camelot Apartments, Yuma AZ

Camelot is not a terrible place to live, it is one of the nicer apartments in Yuma with nice trees & such unless you want to pay $2000+ for a fancy condo or something.

However, they do have roaches, ranging in sizes- small to flyers with eggs attached (meaning definitely an infestation-sewer roaches, not much Camelot can do especially since the apartments are older)

Also, ensure you’re picky & thorough when conducting move IN inspection/any maintenance issues advise them of such, because they’ll definitely charge you anything they can once you move out. I had told the maintenance guy that there was minor damage to the carpet & he told me during one of the final walk throughs that I would be “fine” since the carpet was hitting its 5 year lifespan/replacement time frame and it was getting replaced anyways (2018-2023) & then I get charged $800.00- $500.00 for the carpet replacement & $300.00 for minor damage to the vinyl (which is cheap & easily ripped when moving literally anything so be careful) —and there’s not much we can do to ‘fight’ the charges- overall the gym is nice, you get what you get now a days. I’ve been at Camelot off & on since 2018 but I don’t think I’ll be back ever - hopefully, maybe if they started working on updating all the apartments like the the few on the West/Haupt Ave side and not charge an “upgraded unit” fee since the apartments are literally needing an update anyway, that’d be cool.

And somehow control the roaches. Flamethrow the sewers or something.

Overall I’d give a 3/5.

These maintenance guys are weird they stop and stare when they see you walking by and I have a suspicion they're in the attic when we leave for a night. One time a maintenance worker came for a work order, only knocks once very quick to which I yell out "just a second! " Because I'm putting on my clothes and next thing I just see him invite himself in! And tried opening the bathroom door which my friend was inside using, he would have walked in on her on the toilet if she hadn't locked it! These guys are freaks!

I lived here for almost a year and a half and I had the worst experience ever living here their AC wasn’t the best. We were planning to move out before due to a new opportunity and my husband gave them a notice of us leaving soon and a week after the notice they decided to install a new ac. We were told they were coming at 9am and they showed up around 4pm. They came in without giving my husband a chance to get the the door after the first knock they should call before entering. What was the most unsetting was they had the front door open for three hours and they had most of our lights on when we are the ones paying the electric bill and worst of all they allowed a stranger with a pet to enter our apartment without us authorizing it. I saw it all on camera as I was pulling up I get there and I’m told can’t be inside. We trusted them multiple times to let them come in to work without us being there only to get there and to see them allowing a stranger into our home. We called the office as soon as this happened and they did absolutely nothing and they left a mess behind. We no longer felt safe in this environment so we decided to leave before our plan date due to this situation and now we have a big bill that we have to pay due to their unprofessionalism. Don’t not trust Camelot they will allow strangers into your home when you’re not there!

Apartment units are old and falling apart. A/c unit barely blows any air. Maintenance and management are rude.

10/10 recommended. They have great customer service. They were very helpful and friendly, as well as their ground keepers. I always feel welcomed when I bring a problem to them. The gym is great and always cleaned. They all have smiles whenever you speak to them. Thanks for all your hard work.

Lived at Camelot for a short time. However, Nichole and her staff were amazing. The apartment was clean. Any maintenance issues we had were taken care of immediately.
Very nice place to live.

Had such a poor experience living here. Roaches from day 1, issue was never resolved. Office ppl are so use to the roach problem they disregard your concerns. Pretty sure there was mold. AC went out twice within the first 5 months of living there. Thermostat was broken, told them, they said they’d fix it. Ticket ended up closing months later, and was never fixed the entire stay. Fridge broke within the first 2 months. Electrical issues in kitchen and dinning room. They’re appliances are extremely old. Told them how dirty the apt was when I moved in and all they did was throw white paint on it.ended up having to hire a cleaner myself to clean what they disregard. The inside of the apts are extremely poorly maintained. They take of the outside appearance more than the inside. Also had maintenance just enter the home many times without knocking when I told them many times to knock or call before entering.

I stayed in Camelot Apartments for about a year and I have to say it was pretty cool the staff was friendly and helpful and their ground keepers they were very helpful as well. Plus a lot of times at night as I'm leaving out for work you'll see security riding by to make sure everything was safe which is awesome especially in this day and age. I think the only downfall they had back then was the complex needed a little bit of updating and they are doing that now and all of the apartments looks GREAT! So guys keep up the great work, I told some of family and friends about the Camelot Apartments so they may be stopping by to view a one-bedroom and I also told them that they need to move quick because those nice apartments at Camelot they don't stay on the market long.

I personally had great luck living here, and it was my favorite place I’ve ever rented. I never had issues with staff, payments, mail, laundry, etc.

Over all I would consider living here again. I may look around a bit first to see what changed in Yuma’s area. Most of the comments mentioned prior cover most things. Over all everything good. It’s safe, it’s low drama, and you can live quietly. Pet waste is a major problem. Ground maintenance isn’t great. Package system is way better that when I moved in, but tough to get mail providers to use. Also read everything before you sign, especially on move out. They are a business they will try and recoup whatever they think they can get from you.

I wanted to rent an apartment in this place so I went to investigate about costs and see what they had available but their staff was rude telling me to just fill out the online application, dude, how do you think I want to rent an apartment here if you didn't tell me that they have included like a pool, laundry, gym? That's why they're supposed to pay you to captivate people and rent a place there! I'm disappointed that they don't strive to provide you with information and expect their website to do everything (which doesn't bother me) but I really wanted to see interest in their employees and know the inside and advantages of choosing this place as my new home

Very confusing numbers system and the lawn isn't always mowed. Other than that it's pretty nice.

I've lived here for about 10 straight years! Overall it's been a good place to reside. The staff have always been attentive & kind:) There is no perfect paradise but overall it's been a great place to call "my casa".
