Camp Bow Wow reviews
13I always board my dogs at Camp Bow Wow because I know they are safe and treated well. I know the staff really cares about my fur babies.
My dog loves Camp Bow Wow. Always a great experience and the grooming is the best in town!
The amazing staff is priceless! Lily took great care of me over the phone. Coming from out of town, with lots of questions, Lily never left me hanging. When we got there the staff was super friendly and inviting. Our pups had a great time (looking in is a great feature!) and pick up was seamless. Thanks to you all, what a great team. In this day, customer service just isn't so great anymore, but not here. You all should be proud of your top notch service, thank you!
I have been a happy, loyal customer ever since the first visit. I really liked that they do an assessment first, but since it's been many day care visits and a few boarding visits by this point, I will reiterate that it's so great to not only receive an exemplary level of service from such a great, caring staff, but also to feel so welcomed and a part of the business and this area.
Of course, the most important thing is how the dogs are treated, and they are treated extremely well. We have three dogs in the 65-70 pound range and they're not the most well behaved dogs in the world, The caregivers/guardians are skilled in both canine and human socialization (ha!). Seriously, though, the dogs react to them so well, and they have great customer service skills as well. Sometimes when we drive up, they see our car and they are ready and waiting for us. They're really sweet and caring and just take great care of the dogs. They really handle communication so well (tell you how the dogs did). And that goes not just for the staff - the caregivers/guardians and the desk staff (Valerye in particular, but also Crystal and Chuck (I really like Chuck too) - but especially for Linda, the OUTSTANDING manager (but more on her in a minute).
They also manage to handle check in and check out really efficiently. When we lived in Kansas, our local doggie daycare/boarding facility was not the fastest at check-in or check out (we really liked that place as well but to be honest, it was a time consuming process to check in for boarding and sometimes even for day care). But Camp Bow Wow Tucson is ALL OVER IT, MAN! You walk in and BOOM, they're ready for you. And if they're not instantly ready, it will be a minute or two and that's all. And when you come to pick them up, same deal, they're ready to go, it's easy to pay.
And they have easy to understand pricing with no stupid add-ons like some other places.
And the groomers do a great job as well. I love the convenience of having their nails trimmed while at day care.
A couple of additional notes. First, I mentioned how great Linda, the manager, is. She handles communication really well, sometimes she will call me if I make an online inquiry or if the staff member I initially speak with feels it's something Linda needs to handle. And when that does happen, Linda calls promptly and expresses herself clearly, answers my questions, and makes me feel welcomed and my business appreciated.
Second, today I had my first visit following the easing of the stay at home restrictions, and I was VERY impressed with the way they've addressed the COVID health and safety procedures. There was a plexiglass divider at the front counter, every staff member that I saw was wearing a mask, and they offer to come to your vehicle to take your dog (s) in if you'd like anyway, but I am comfortable going inside wearing my own mask, and seeing all the staff wearing theirs as well. I mean, for God's sake, the guy in the HEALTH / VITAMIN store wasn't even wearing a mask, yet the Camp Bow Wow employees are all doing so, and I'm glad they are.
Believe me, we checked out quite a few local dog care facilities when we first moved here and are thrilled to have selected Camp Bow Wow. I proudly display their bumper sticker on my vehicle!
Wonderful, caring, compassionate staff. They really put your mind at ease when your fur baby is in their care. We were new in town and they really welcomed us and made my dog feel supported. My boy LOVES going to Camp Bow Wow! Thank you all for your love of animals and the work that you do. We appreciate you.
The staff are welcoming when we come in. They know my dogs by name and are always happy to see them.
The staff at Camp Bow Wow are outstanding. Our girl, Cora, is always in good hands when we leave her to board overnight or merely a day of fun at camp.
I love that the dogs get time during the day to play with other dogs out of the kennels during long term stays. This is a benefit and even more time out in the play yards would be great!
Put my puppy in with 20 + adult dogs and it traumatized her. She was sick for a week. Won't ever go back. It's warehousing. Staff are nice just too many dogs. Good for profits not so good for my dog.
The staff here is fantastic and adorable according to Sophie tge Golden Retriever
We think they are awesome
I was just checking it out for future reference, I took my dogs with me this trip but may possibly use them in the future.
A lot of your services are included at one cost and your team seem to be in tune with our pet's needs and experienced.
The staff are awesome, great customer service, professional. Love the app to view the experience was so helpful to my separation anxiety. Loki and I love your Camp.
