Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown

Our stay was incredible! I was here with Best Version Media work meetings and the accommodations, meeting rooms, restaurants, food and staff were all top notch! Seriously best customer service I think I've had at a hotel ever. Our 19 month old was with us so the staff let us schedule housekeeping around naps, got us an electric kettle to heat her bottle, etc. When traveling with a toddler, those type of experiences stand out so much and can truly make or break a trip. I recommend this hotel to anyone!

If you're visiting your college student, definitely stay here. If your not visiting your college student, come when school is out. 2 weeks before Christmas was perfect. No crowds. Within walking distance of many restaurants. Great rooftop bar. Really nice room. Very clean.

I loved this hotel from the staff to the valet parking (34 a night) everything was great even the food and most of all the view the pool on top of the roof is great. The rooms are nice and spacious the hotel staff comes in clean the room and they also have this bag you can put on the door for like a little snack in the morning. However they do charge a 100 a night for like any accidental fees it is refundable and also if you would like to use a microwave you have to call housekeeping to rent one. I’ve never heard of that usually it’s a microwave in the kitchen or somewhere in the hotel but other than that everything will great I will stay here again.

The rooftop bar is the best in Tempe. Sophie the bartender is the best bartender in Arizona, she’s always makes the best drinks! I’ll for sure be back

This place really doesn't feel working class friendly.
A few things they don't tell you about. $100/night for incidentals up front, $30/night for valet parking or figure it out on your own but it won't be onsite.
My bed sags in the middle, the ice machine on my floor doesn't work and overall this place is ok.

My bartender Sophie was amazing. So fun, friendly and knew her stuff. A true professional. Would come back just for the service she provided. A great asset to the team at the roof top

We did a staycation and front desk was fine.not sure how our room was an upgrade as the campus view and floors were awful? Also, the TV showed a different name and status so maybe it was a mix-up? Reception can improve if the staff did not use their fingers on the rim of the glasses and if they actually put the drinks on ice. Who wants a warm margarita?

Such a great and clean place! Sophie at the bar is so sweet and fun! Drinks were so yummy and the atmosphere is lively!

I have been to the rooftop bar a few times and the service is always amazing! Sophie has been my bartender each time she always makes great drinks and has an amazing energy! She is the reason I continue to come back!

Love love love Canopy! I went to the rooftop bar with one of my college friends and we had a blast! The Christmas decorations were so beautiful and our wonderful bartender, Sophie, was incredible. She made us the“Captn Claus” cocktail and I loved it, one of my favorite cocktails I’ve ever had. She was kind, fun, and inviting. Definitely recommend!

Worst Hilton! Had to hold my stuff since the room was not ready by them. Will not stay here again. They were no help at all.

Great hotel in a super convenient location! The rooms were clean and the amenities were awesome, especially the rooftop pool and gym. The rooftop pool area also has cabanas and plenty of space to enjoy the sun and order food and drinks (or bring your own). One thing to note is that you’ll be able to enjoy the sun for most of the day based on the position of this pool compared to neighbouring hotels which is perfect. The pool is heated but it’s best to jump in when it’s hot and sunny since it cools down at night. The quality overall is great. My only complaint about the rooms was that the water pressure was very poor. But the walls and windows were soundproof and the beds were great. The restaurant in the lobby isn’t great but it’s worth trying. I’d definitely return if I’m in Tempe again!

Alibi Rooftop is my go-to escape from college chaos. The theme nights are legit vibes, and Sophie and Trei at the bar? Absolute legends. They whip up drinks that make my day go from meh to heck yeah! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out on

Was hosted at the hotel property for a committee retreat. Great meeting space and amazing service at the rooftop bar from Gina. She snapped this photo of our group in addition to making some superb cocktails that evening and making us feel right at home.

Alibi is just an awesome spot. Ask for for Sophie she makes the best drinks and is just awesome!
