We have been sitting in this room for 7 hours now. Still waiting on who knows what. Should have driven to Tucson.

We went there arriving around 11: 30 in the morning. We were brought back they took vitals and placed in a waiting room of sorts with two other people. One of the individuals was so sick she was throwing up constantly in one of those bags. Three hours we waited were given muscle relaxers and a shot and told to wait. We were not told what we were waiting for or what was happening, we just continued to wait in the same waiting room with the poor lady who was throwing up the entire time. This hospital is absolutely horrible.

My husband had to visit the ER in the middle of the night on Thursday. Everyone with whom we interacted was wonderful! From the moment we arrived at checkin to the time he was released, we encountered nothing but highly professional, pleasant, caring people. I can't remember everyone's names but the three I do recall are Dr Murray (?), a nurse, Tawny, and Chris who came to the room to confirm our information for sign in. When you come in scared and a little in shock at the events, the way you are received aand treated makes all the difference!

Not my real name. June 13th 2021 had a grand mal seizure shattered shoulder and heart attack and NDE all I got to say is God is very real more real than real that's all I have to say about that. Thank You Canyon Vista for saving my life still in recovery two years later two shoulder replacements. But it's okay I got to see the Glory of God I would do it all over again it was well worth it the experience. Plus yellow helicopter ride to TMC so much fun don't even remember it. Such a BUMMER! But anyways thank you for the kick start when my battery was dead.

I recently had a surgical procedure and overnight stay in your hospital and I am sincerely grateful for the excellent care I received. Every person on my care team, from pre-op to post-op, to recovery and overnight stay, to physical therapy (thank you, “Bone Camp” ladies!) and then to discharge was uniformly wonderful; skilled, caring and efficient. Even the front desk check-in and subsequent registration was made a pleasant experience by the ladies responsible. I received a lovely get- well card from the Perioperative Services Staff and really appreciated that. I wish I could remember everyone’s name but I was groggy some of the time and will say thank you so much to the ones I remember: Crystal, Heather, Christina, Kelly, and MOST certainly my surgeon Dr. Susini and his team, and my anesthesiologist Dr. Kim…just superb.
I also very much appreciated the facility itself; an excellent plant that seems very well managed -and with really good food served in a genius dish that kept it hot- thank you, kitchen staff! Also a very comfortable bed that was adjustable in several ways, which helped immeasurably with my comfort post-op. I don’t know if compression cuffs are standard but they were so very helpful as well and the nurses monitored them diligently along with any other needs I had… and it may seem a little thing but that was the best-designed icewater sippy cup I’ve ever seen! Lastly, thank you to my case manager Hannah who stopped in to see if I had any issues or if there was anything I needed. I had zero issues and felt completely taken care of but it was nice to know there was a resource in case I needed it. I can only imagine the diligence and hard work that goes into making such a complex outfit run so smoothly and I truly wish to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved for such a positive experience with what otherwise could have been challenging in so many ways. Thank You All!

We have lived here since 2020 and have used the hospital for two births and a handful of minor emergencies, plus lab work/imaging. We have recieved okay care, but ABISMAL communication after leaving. Errors are common in billing, then IMPOSSIBLE to resolve over the phone without pulling out hair or wanting to scream. Or actually screaming. Not to mention the cursing. No information is given to the patient on statements (the online portal is even less helpful), but the call center people you have to deal with are CLUELESS (I was told today to call my insurance company and just give them the correct code for resubmitting a claim. I would love to have that knowledge! I'm pretty sure there's someone who gets paid to have that knowledge, but it's not me!). Did I mention billing errors are common? I have been told by our Sierra Vista family doctor to avoid Canyon Vista if given a choice. Copper Queen or Tucson if it's not life threatening. I am taking that advice! (PS I NEVER use all caps! Im yelling at you to Go. Somewhere. Else!)

I was recently treated at the ER by Dr. Jason Lasry. Best experience I've had at CVMC in ten years.

Today I had Heart Surgery at Canyon Vista Medical Center and would like to say I was thoroughly impressed especially the Nurses that prepared me and cared for me as they were exceptional in educating me to what was instore and how to navigate through the rest of my life.
Our Leader was Dr. Vinay Sanghi and I can't thank him enough for making me a New Man~! My Family will be forever grateful to his expertise with The Human Heart!

I had a service done at Carter imaging in the gentleman that check me and told me the amount that I needed to pay in full. He said since you’re being of all there’s a discount we’re gonna play that to you so this is great.

A month later I received a a call from a lady saying you have a amount due for
Your service? I said this is strange because I paid exactly what he told me to pay in full she said I see that there was a pay in full discount that was not applied I will get with my manager and will take care of this.

Few weeks from a collection agency for the amount due that was supposed to be being in full call the building department which is offshore the lady was extremely rude no one is available to speak to you at the hospital and they’re billing department.

What a hospital.

To be completely honest most times I've been to the ER it has been a terrible experience. Always rushed and not listened to. But when I took my infant in the evening of 7/25/2023 I was pleasantly surprised by her nurse Alyssa and Dr. Murry or Murphy (it was a crazy evening I can't remember his name) they were amazing. Very informative and personable. Wonderful bedside manner as well. They really took their time to get to know my child and genuinely cared for her. They took their time to give us an accurate diagnosis. They were kind and understanding of her needs. Best experience I've had at this hospital in a long time.

Our experience was very good. Probably the smoothest labor and delivery we've had since being in AZ. The RN were so nice and sweet to my wife and baby. Also Dr. Dana was super amazing and she made us feel comfortable and safe. Really appreciate everything that was done definitely deserves 5 stars

(06/05/23 UPDATE: This facility responded to this review, and dodged everything, even stood their ground. The place is a pathetic excuse for a so-called mental health facility in my view.)
Avoid the mental health department of this hospital at all costs. Assessments and diagnoses are done by a nurse practitioner in a single short session, not a doctor. They cover their backs for such incomplete thus potentially damaging diagnoses by dumping the patient on their family physician for follow-up. Horrible conditions, mostly rude staff. Malpractice, in my opinion.

I want to tell you about the incredible experience I had on Monday in your ER. I went to the ER at the direction of a doctor who said I could have a kidney infection.

When I arrived I was anxious about what I was going to hear because the medical events at two different clinics and three doctors over the the past few months were unexpected, shocking, and they created a sense of fear and uncertainty. Prior to those events I had perfect health (other than 4 bouts of covid).

The question I was attempting to get an answer to was, "Why am I still exhausted after covid? "

First, Shaun greeted me with the sweetest smile ever, got a wheelchair for me, and spoke so calmly while asking how they could help. His sweet and calm demeanor calmed me and I knew he clearly understood what I needed. He quickly moved me into the next area so they could get the process flowing.

They quickly, calmly, and kindly moved me from one station to the next, then in to my own room. I started to relax and began to feel like I was going to be taken care of. They heard me.

My nurse, Karen, came in and was so sweet and calm as she moved through the process of getting me ready. She genuinely cared and wanted to make sure she had all the details of why I was there (possible kidney infection) and I also explained the details of the back story.

Nurse Katie soon came in to introduce herself and she also checked why I was there and why. She was also a great listener and very professional.

Dr. Murray introduced introduced himself and made me feel very comfortable. He reassured me that they would get answers. He was calm, a great communicator, and so nice.

All in all, the entire team was a godsend and I felt they were all doing their best to help me. I felt cared for!

In the end, I was told I am in perfect health, with some appropriate anxiety.

Thanks to everyone for a job well done!

So, why am I still tired? I suspect it is because I am 72.

I would use this hospital anytime!

Would leave 0 stars.
Went into ER vomiting and having bloody noses because my pain in my shoulder was so bad and they said it’s not an emergency we won’t help you. Didn’t even check me in or look at my arm or anything.
