Carburetor Exchange, Peoria AZ

I had a carburetor from a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am turbo. I called Joe on a Friday morning and ask him if he could help me with this carburetor that had been disassembled already and missing some parts. I live two hours away and told him that my wife would bring it down and if she could wait for it. By the end of the day she brought it back and it looked like a brand new carburetor. With all the new parts needed. We are installing it on the car today and I foresee absolutely no problems. Extremely fast service extremely reasonable price. I will definitely be usingThem again.

I took my 1987 miles the B 2200 pick up to Joe to rebuilt my carburetor awesome job Very honest and reliable at a good price There were a few glitches along the way which He resolved quickly And never made me feel like I was Bothering him with my concerns Joe is a good guy that stands behind his work and looks for that satisfaction in his customer's I will be referring friends and family for any carburetor needs In the future.

Paid $194 over 1 month passed said carb got lost at Post Office then said found it then stated be here Thursday never arrived called him stated he had one he would build and ship lie after lie I said no refund me 5 days later no refund I filed a Fraud complaint with Visa and they refunded me so I know they will get there money Fair Warning This Was My Experience.

DON'T ORDER FROM HERE! Took our money never got the carburetor, stopped answering the phone, changed phones and guess what he picked up with many excuses as to why we have never received the carburetor. Going to have to submit a credit card dispute. Huge waste of time.

Joe is a stand up guy! I needed an older obscure Jeep Carb & he had one to rebuild. When testing, he discovered and issue with a part, so he let me know it would be an extra day or two. Got it all done, shipped out, and it is perfect! A good Carb Guy isn't easy to find, and with the older stuff, its even harder. People need to understand this is a lost art, and these things can take time before they fire off a review. 10 Stars for helping me get my project back on track!

Don't waste your time with Joe. He can't tell the truth and his work is less than professional. Started the rebuild process Nov 19.2018 and to date, Joe has not returned calls, replaced the incorrect carb that he sold me. My opinion, go somewhere else since you now know Carburetor Exchange is NOT good.

UPDATE. Today Jan 2019 I received the correct carb and although it took more time than I had planned for, Joe stepped up and made it right with me. Thanks Joe

Owner is a crook - never sent carburetor - had to and am still contesting charge w CC company - have called 10 plus times - now answer - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I brought Joe 25 carburetor cores and he agreed to pay me $500 for those cores. I've delt with a month of excuses and now he won't answer my calls or return my calls. I've had him build carburetors for me in the past but I will never do business with this man ever again.
And to answer his reply at the bottom, it was a month. Not two weeks. He's a liar folks, you're better off doing business somewhere else

I give them one star cause I can't give lower. The customer service was great, at first, then when the rebuild was bad he flat out refused to answer my calls or even return them. If joe had even tried to make it right I wouldn't be upset. But at the first sight of something they did being wrong they stop talking to you and ignore it. Not only was the work bad but they don't take pride in making sure it's done right. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

Don't bother with this place. He knew all about my car so I ordered it, November 1 immediately charged my credit card. Called several times Lying Joe said he would call back with tracking info, never did. Then he said he would ship it over night. Liar Joe struck again. Now he doesn't answer my calls. Had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge. Five weeks wasted now ill be working on my vehicle in 20 degree weather. THaNKS LIAR JOE

Joe went out of his way literally to make sure the carb for a 66 Dodge Dart worked like new. I have been in the automotive business for 45 years and I was very impressed with the service I received at Carburetor Exchange!

They have been awesome have even dropped my vehicle off and picked it up after they did the work for me while there he said he could do other repairs I had him do brakes and a water pump done quick and great price make sure you talk to Joe he knows his stuff and has been dependable and reliable to help me with a couple of my vehicles. Make sure it is the Arizona branch to do your business with they are great
