Caring Transitions in Tucson has been such a help with our parent's estate sale. Sherri kept in touch the entire time and followed through on all the commitments that were made. After the sale was over, the house was cleaned and empty of all belongings. They put aside items that they found which could have been important or sentimental to our family. It was a huge endeavor and a godsend for our family as we all live out of state. I only have nice things to say about this company. Thank you so much!

Sherrie and team have been so honest and caring. She and her crew took their time to find out what our family really needed. They helped us through one of the toughest times in our life. Thank you Caring Transitions of Southern Arizona.

Their online auction sales and pick up times are ridiculous. They give people a 5 hour window of time one day out of the week to pick up. I would say a majority of people needing to do pick up also work themselves. They are absolutely unforgiving with the window/day of pick up times. They will ask you a million questions as to why you can't make it during that small window of time and charge you additional money for not making it on time. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. They are only in this for the profit and do not care about their customers at all.

First and last sale. Rude personnel. Offered to put it in the car because I couldn't lift. She broke it. Never apologized and did not refund the sales tax I paid.

I work at Mountain View Retirement Village and I can't say enough about Caring Transitions. During the Covid 19 lock-down they have been shopping for all of our residence and not charging a dime! We are very grateful for the service they are proving:)

These people should not be able to operate. They practically steal from their clients. My agent Tracy Wood recommended them and so I blindly trusted her recommendations. When I called to find out about their services, Sherie Gillette reviewed their payment policy and how their percentage of the profits would be 60% of the profits when they picked up which I agreed to since I did not want to deal with moving the furniture. What they don't tell you about is their exorbitant ADDITIONAL fees to pick up in addition to the lowered percentage. Why would someone agree to get paid less AND pay for pick up of the furniture? Defies logic. They sent over a long contract to sign and since I had written down all Sherie and I had discussed I believed their business would be honest enough to provide what they had promised over the phone, in their written documents emailed to me. I am extremely busy and I did what no-one should ever do. Sign a contract without reading it. They picked up some items and I received an INVOICE via email a couple of weeks later. It appeared I owed THEM $670 for the pick up. I called them extremely distressed and Sherie said that is what they charge for using their movers, which are on their payroll. The family had the entire rest of the house packed, some went to storage and some to the new home for $600, using Tracy's Wood's men. We not only did NOT receive a penny, we ended up owing THEM money for the furniture they took. I had no intentions of writing this review until last night when Tracy Wood began attacking me via texts and after trying to strong arm me yesterday into signing closing papers without $6,750 credit due to me from her. She said "Sherie called from Caring Transitions. How nice you stiffed her $670". I mention Tracy only to warn people sent to this company by her. It is obvious the two of them are ethically ok with unethical manners of doing business. Please beware of this company and consider donating what you have and taking advantage of the tax benefits. You can keep an itemized list and write off at least $5000 annually and help others in the process instead of allowing a company like this to take advantage of you.

Response to Caring Transitions: You changed the percentages from 40/60 to 60/40 in your favor because you guys had to pick up and pack. What a great immoral business.charge exorbitant fees for your payroll employees to move furniture and make sure it's a large enough amount to allow you to keep all the proceeds as payback for your movers.

Their online bidding arm - CT bids - is fantastic. Great items, low prices, well organized and efficient pick up. A great service in this age of Covid as an alternative to thrifting. I’ve won about 8 lots over the past 4 months and love every item. Very easy. And if you’re looking for furniture, you can get a nice couch for $1, seriously. I wish I could bid on everything but luckily I control myself. Highly recommend.

This company has great staff, they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They post many photos of the sale online before they start so you can have a good idea of what to expect. I go every weekend and they have a dedicated following because their prices are fair and marked to sell. I recommend them to all!

Showed up at the address listed in the email only to find there was no sale. Called to find out what was up and asked about the address. Sherry answered “Well there are a million other people here so everyone else found it. ”

In fact, there were quite a few people with me that were lost. The address in the email was incorrect, and Sherry’s response was highly unprofessional and rude. Answer the question, hold the snark and take responsibility for your mistakes.

Caring Transitions recently took care of my mother in laws home. While the company was pleasant to work with, we are extremely unhappy with the outcome of the sale. While we agreed to the large fee to pay for the work one week prior to the sale, we ended up making a total of $300. On an entire home filled with memories and things from my MIL's life. We are grateful to have the home cleaned out and cleared to get ready to sell, but there is nothing more heartbreaking than watching countless strangers haul away items from your entire life, just to end up with a few hundred dollars. I want to make it clear that profit was not the motive, however, there are a lot of unexpected bills that come with the death of a loved one. My home is completely heartbroken and sad over this sale. Thank you for the help, but we will never reccomend your services to anyone.
