PA Thompson
Was my Gastro Dr for my stay at Honor Heath hospital Osborn in Scottsdale, Az.
I received miss information from this PA that the formulary was covered, for a drug I needed to keep well and continue to fight an infection, It was not. I needed to get pre authorised for this med.
This PA wanted me out earlier than I was ready, I was still having terrible GI symptons and my fever was up and down. I called the insurance company myself to see if it was approved and it was not. I needed to be sure I had this medication or my severe infection would possibly land me back in ER and back into being attmited. I felt this PA was not giving logical advice. In fact I was being rushed out of this hospital with the same symptoms as when I was admitted. To add I was infectious to others, they had to gown up to be in my room. I told this PA No I am still sick and infectious, I will NOT leave! I then stayed four more days inpatient at Honor Health Osborn.
I had a severe bout of a terrible infection called C diff, this was my third time with this nasty bacterial infection you can die from this disease. The Hospital does NOT want C diff patients period!
Because they pose a risk to their bottom line. This PA seemed to listen to the bottom line instead of the blatant
Prof that I was still sick with a fevor of 101.8 and bouts of watery diarahera. This PA did not care.
