CARVANA customer service is the only thing that shines. Don't trust that they bothered doing a 150 point inspection, also don't trust that they invested any money into any vehicle, except for a quick detail job. They charge way over local dealerships and don't even bother changing the oil. The right wheel on this thing would shake when slowing down, and after only a few hours the engine died when you put it into drive. Check engine light was then activated and did not turn off. You could also hear the timing chain rattle on startup after the failure. DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM CARVANA! It's a ripoff and a total joke! They want $12,100 for this! You can get an SLT for $10,700 at the local dealers with same mileage! I will never buy from CARVANA again!

The entire car buying process was so easy that we were expecting the "axe to fall" the entire time. After countless times at car dealerships, where we spent entire weekends haggling pricing and interest rates only to be "yoyoed" back there a week later to sign new and worse terms, there was none of that here. There were a huge selection of cars, so picking out the right one was easy. Second, we compared the prices of the vehicles to KBB, as well as other dealerships such as CarMax and other local car dealerships and these prices were better. Scheduling a delivery date was easy, and when they arrived, and the delivery visit was done within 20 minutes. Every staff member was nice, and I truly felt that the everyone was out for our best interest. We had a trade in, which we submitted information for online. They actually called us the next morning to tell us that they were owed $200 more, plus they were going to give the AZ plate refund to us on top of that. This was truly the best way to buy a car!

Never ever ever buy a car from Carvana. At this point they are borderline thieves. I canceled my purchase from them on 9/23 and it is now 10/9 and they have yet to even MOVE my trade-in back from their out-of-state warehouse much less actually return it to me. Meanwhile they picked up the car I was testing out on 9/23 with no problems whatsoever. They are incompetent at their core business of moving vehicles around the country.

THIS COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY! I bought a car from Carvana and it was the total opposite of the seamless buying experience they advertise. After going through a huge hassle buying the car they called me an hour before dropoff and said it delayed because of a headlight and said i had to wait a week to get my vehicle, which i thought should have been fixed when it was supposedly "INSPECTED". I got the car and continued to have problems. The headlight the was suppose to have been fixed went out after 2 days and i decided to just fix it myself and not wait the week it would take at the carvana facility. When got to autozone and purchased my daytime running lights, i noticed my coolant was below the minimum mark, so i purchased some pentosin coolant recommenced for VW and topped it off, the hood prop was also not secure and the grommet was out of it place. I was disappointed because these things should have been looked at during the inspection they offer, But the coolant and headlight were fixed now so i was on my way. I also noticed a squeaking noise when i turned my wheel which i would just have the warranty company fix when i could take time off work to take my car in.fast forward 3 weeks and im driving my car as an Uber driver and i noticed a rubber, asphalt smell but was in a construction zone so just played it off as that. An hour later i was driving in Tempe AZ when i noticed smoke coming through my vents. Shortly after my car died and when i popped the hood to see where the smoke was coming from i noticed that my battery was smoking and hissing.i got the car home called carvana first thing the next morning.

When i called carvana i had no luck with the regular supervisors, although they are very polite and nice, they couldn't do anything to help the situation, so they transferred me to Jeff at the executive branch. I explained what had happened to Jeff, and noted that the inspection that they advertised wasn't what i got. I told him about the Coolant levels and the Daytime running light and hood prop which were a clear indicator that and inspection hadn't been done. Jeff said he would look into things and make a get back to me by Tuesday. Tuesday he said he will have a decision and solution by Wednesday. I waited 4 days patiently for him to tell me they weren't at fault at all, and the inspection was performed correctly. If you purchase a vehicle from carvana, i HIGHLY recommend that you have a Professional mechanic do a thorough inspection within the 7 day period so you dont have something fail weeks after and get left hanging.

I ended up having the VW dealership inspecting and fixing all the issues through the Warranty company SilverRock, which went fine. VW also noted that the Lower control arms were worn and needed to be replaced.which somehow slipped through carvana 150 point inspection, that must have been point 152.

So 5 days later, ive got a car that runs and drives fine, but smells like burnt rubber.and ill lost 5 nights of work.

Sold me a damaged vehicle exteriorly $800. Didnt notice it because its in the rear end underneath the vehicle and the lexus dealership pointed it out when i was getting serviced about 45 days after I received the vehicle. I then looked into the pictures they advertised on the website of my car and indeed i zoomed in and saw the damage! I sent to carvana the proof they sold me this damaged car and they said i didnt let them know the first 7 days. And brushed it off and havent responded to any other emails. There “Carvana Reconditioning Standards” is bullshxt.

This is a bad experience they make you believe you’re doing everything right, first they advertise not to impact your credit score and they do, second they want people with good credit even they advertise different, third after you agree on high interest and down payment they need to “check” that you’re doing your taxes after I sent them 3 months of my checking account to prove my income, fourth customer service HORRIBLE you’re going to wait for at least 30-40 minutes to get somebody to the 1-800 phone, fifth you’re choosing your car then what you like is not available or has a pending vending lock so they put the cars with availability within 15-20 days, not recommended at all.

****Terrible service, uneducated staff. Cars are not properly serviced and inspected. And a bit overpriced compared to local competition. For what? For no hassle buying, or salesmen? This isn’t the 90s, recently purchased car elsewhere through “scary” dealer online. Easiest car buying experience and salesmen knew and had all the information about the car and recent services done to it; he was also very friendly and didn’t pressure or sales talk don’t know why carvana is pushing the whole negative spiel about car buying how it used to be back in the day before the internet. LOL.

If you are scared then keep shopping here at carvana but you will be overpaying another greedy Owner trying to cut employees out of pictures so he can profit more.

Make sure you look over your cars thoroughly within the 7 day period they give you. I used to work there and they passed some cars with issues through that shouldn't have passed. I would highly recommend an actual mechanic look at it. The people that fix those issues aren't the probably its the inspection people that are supposed to overlook things before it gets to them that's the issue. They rarely actually do they jobs they all say stuff like "not my car not my problem" cause they are on a time limit of 12 to 13 mins to look @ the underbody and inspect the under hood fluids and the brakes and tires. Under hood is filled with nothing but water. No coolant except what it get to them with. Tires are usually missed as well as brake pads. And also tie rods and ball joints. I would just have a mechanic look at it.

Beyond interesting! This is a great way to buy a car without the hassle. Fair prices and car buying of the future concept - buying from a vending machine!

What started out as a positive experience is quickly going bad. I have attempted to make a payment with valid payment information twice and both times Carvana aka Drivetime aka Bridgecrest has reversed the payments and is stacking $15 reversal fees on my account. I can't even make my first payment. It is due Jun 24th, my first attempt was on Jun 16th and the second on Jun 20th. Are you guys a scam or just trying to jack up my credit? Yes I am upset because I dont believe I owe you an extra $30. I triple checked the info before I hit the submit button. Now what's great is my payment is due on a Sunday and you are closed. BS!

Will NEVER buy a car from carvana again. I won’t be referring anyone either. Customer service was always friendly, but after the third car it just wasn’t enough to save my overall disappointment with this company. First vehicle brought to me was BROKEN. SECOND vehicle had RUST inside my vehicle.finally the third one (because I really really tried to love you guys) the company tried to reschedule the delivery because of no haulers. So NOW they drive my brand new vehicle down an 1 1/2 on the freeway to give me WITHOUT my permission that it was okay. There were no apologies, let alone a phone call expressing any kind of concern towards my discomfort of the whole situation. NEVER AGAIN! I’d rather go to a local dealership and SEE what I’m buying before I buy it. Be careful and make sure to inspect the vehicles! I will definitely make sure that anyone I come across knows NEVER to buy from this company. -Update I did contact corporate about this issue and hopefully the issue will be rectified finally and we can all move on.

Went for an interview on Valentine's Day, everyone was really friendly and inviting. The facility was big, but not to complicated to figure out and the employees looked happy while working which to me is always a good sign of the overall mood a visitor would get.
