Catalina Craft Pizza

Pizza is good but dine in service has been consistently slow last several visits, lunch or early dinner, considering restaurant was at around 25% visual capacity. Lunch special took 30+ minutes from walking in the door to getting “the special”.

Ordered via the website for delivery. 18" pizza, just over $33 plus tip. Pizza missing pepperoni. Called to correct issue, they had no idea who delivers for them, nothing on their website, receipt or given to consumer. Issue was finally resolved (refunded cost of pepperoni) but for the price, which ended up at $30, it was VERY skimpy on the other toppings on half the pizza (mushrooms, olives) and the other half paid for extra cheese, questioning if I got any. Overall, mostly just a cheese pizza. This pizza was NOT worth the cost. It could have been, but quality failed.

I was very happy that Catalina Craft Pizza has the Neapolitan crust that I love close to my home. My pizza was delicious along with my salad. I will definitely be back

Best Pizza I have ever had and amazing owners. We just had to move to Florida last month and nothing comes close to Catalina Pizza company. We miss it and the people so much.

Great pizza & you can build your own to suit your taste. A few TV's are visible to some of the seating. Great selection of beer & the waitress was very helpful & fun. Great spot for pizza! Love their crispy crust! No sag to these pizza pie slices.

Decided to try this place and had high hopes. Tried to call, no one answers and you are instructed to leave a message. Tried again, same thing. Was going to just head home but decided to pull over and ordered online.

Spent $60 on one 14”, one 12” cheese pizza and 8 wings. When I arrived there it was pretty slow inside. I tried calling just to see if anyone would answer…. No answer. Phone was at the counter and the staff was elsewhere.

Got my food as soon as it came out and went out to the car. I opened the wings right away to give them a try. They were borderline dry but ok. Nothing to write home about.

Grabbed a slice of pizza and it wasn’t any better. The sauce was a little different. Not your traditional pizza sauce.

All in all it was ok, but not worth the price. My other half thought the same thing. Oh well at least now we know.

The wings were surprisingly delicious and the Ugly Steak Sandwich was filled with flavor. I've had Dickman's Ugly Steak before, so had to try it in a sandwich. No regrets!

The service was wonderful and the prices were not over the top. Live music filled the air and I saw that they were going to bring in a local comedian the next day. Pleasantly surprised! Will be back for sure!

Losing 2 stars just because we waited literally 1 hour (from 1: 11pm to 2: 11pm to get our food. Only 3 of us went, not a large party. 2 of our 3 orders were for sandwiches. Others who came in 10+ minutes after us were being served with more time consuming things like whole giant pizzas long before we received our food.

Only one server. She was great! I feel so bad for her having to bear the weight of the restaurant on her shoulders without any help. Shame on the other servers, cooks, etc.for not being prepared!

One of the beers were good.

There was an event. The restaurant should have prepared for a larger than normal crowd on a Sunday. If they had served us in a timely manner we could have already been out of there & our table could have gone to another party of 2 to 4 and that's money! Money money money - and you guys lost it because you were so slow and didn't get guest turnover.

Had pizza, it was great, just a tad pricey, but worth it.

My son's and I do some catching up every Sunday and prefer to craft pizza as our host. Our last waitress was so friendly and absolutely adorable it was the night after Catalina fest. I don't remember her name, or I would recommend her service. The owner was there to help with our needs, and refills. We drank water and tea until we wore out our visit! Lol good times. Good times.

The toppings are fresh and the pizza is great as long as you eat it when it's hot. As soon as it cools down or even to warm it up it The crust tastes like cardboard When it cools off and warmed backup.

CCP serves the BEST Wings I’ve ever had, hands down! The Garlic Parmesan wings are excellent and the pizza is amazing as well (the Pinocchio is my favorite). We had great service and I highly recommend giving it a try.

Wings great! Kitchen sink pizza great! Margherita pizza, watch out unless you like eating raw garlic by the mouthful! Way too much! That would have made this a 3 star night, but I called the manager/owner over (guy with the beard) to explain our reaction. I was being civil, but before I could even finish 2 sentences, he interrupted me and started defending how the pizza was made. I became a bit hostile at that point and he says, what do you want? I explained, I don't want anything, I am just trying to let you know my customer experience at your restaurant. If you want to serve margherita pizza that way, fine, but we have eaten many of them in multiple restaurants, and never have had raw burning garlic taste as a result. He continued to defend his food as the only way to make it and even digressed into the complaints he gets about his crust, which I happened to like. A friendly, listening attitude would have been much better, as I said, I just wanted to convey my experience to him as a customer.

The pizza is the BEST we had 2 different pizza my husband had the kitchen sink. He said it is this new favorite place. The staff is so nice Tony is amazing! I have some food issues Tony was great to Recommend pizza that worked for me it was so yummy you have to try this place. Great food great service. We WILL BE BACK!

Ordered a Kitch’n Sink delivery. No amendments, as is. It was disappointing. A grease slick. The balance was all off. Way too much cheese, and too little sauce. The crust had a mysterious “texture”, heavy and chewy. I’m sure college kids would be happy with this, but they could do much much better if they had a lighter hand and improved the crust. The search for good pizza in Oro Valley doesn’t stop here unfortunately.

Been coming here since they opened! Pizza is incredible delicious everyone is so friendly and I never fail to meet someone at the bar that’s fun and interesting to talk to. Wings are delicious and the salads are spot on!

I can’t believe we live this close and hadn’t tried Catalina Craft Pizza until recently, but we’re SO glad we did. It’s hard to find gluten-free options in our area, even Oro Valley, and the gluten-free options don’t end at the pizza. They are able to make their awesome wings gluten-free. The wings really are excellent. But what really impressed us and stays with us is the service here. We’ve eaten here twice in a week. Our first time, our server was Isabella and she was so sweet, and accommodating and helpful in getting the wings to be GF, she talked to the chef (Brady?) and we were there early enough so they could bake them. Anyway, Isabella really provided great service and the wings were great. We were hoping to get pizza, my wife is the one with the gluten allergy, and they were out of the GF crust that day, so I didn’t feel right getting pizza if she couldn’t try the GF crust. So I went with the Italian sandwich, because, well, first of all, HELLO, CAPICOLA! I love capicola, I rarely see it on anyone’s menu and I also noticed they use it as a meat topping for their pizzas, so I got the sandwich so I’d know how it’d be on the pizza next time. The whole sandwich was very good, not just the capicola, I liked the peppers and the other meats and the bread was fresh. But the experience stood out because of Isabella’s great service, even if we didn’t like the food.

Later that same week, I called to see if the GF crust was available, it was, and we went. This time our server was Marisa, and she was just as great as Isabella! We really liked her. She was also VERY pleasant, and just a lot of fun to have as our server, she checked on us, it was a lot of fun AND we were able to enjoy the pizza. NICE! Pretty darn close to NY pizza! Excellent crust, chewy but also crispy AND you can taste a nice flavor in the dough, it’s not JUST a vessel for the sauce and cheese. I think the mozzarella is what makes the pizza so good, although the sauce is also great, it’s got a little bit of a sweetness to it, not too acidy. And you can bet I got capicola as a topping and it was great! Capicola and black olive, yum! Even the GF pizza was very good (usually you say it’s “good for gluten-free” but this really was one of the better GF crusts).

We just love the way we’re treated and it’s not like we’re even regulars. Add the great food and you’ve got a winner! I think we’re about to BECOME regulars!
