The search for a good dermatologist that cares about your issues in this area of Phoenix is still ongoing- this is not it. After being seen at a different branch and being dismissed with a blanket treatment for my true concern (seems like acne is the only thing the original dr cared about), I decided to try a different doctor to see if I could have better luck. Sadly, the only bright spot was the lovely receptionist. The absolute WORST assistant? Is what I'm assuming the short blonde was- holy moly how unprofessional, rude and dismissive! She stops me and reiterates the last diagnosis saying 'well he can look at the diagnosis again' like I'm an idiot - even though I explained exactly what happened last time. She SLAMS the door- starts talking to the doctor outside. I literally could hear her describing my concern as something that had been addressed in the past- that I*** was trying to say was a different diagnosis. With her attitude and smirk she joins Dr Arun Sood in the room- who after roughly handling my head and hair, had to agree with me and told this nasty lady it WAS, after all, what I had said. The doctor was short, rough, and did not take any time to talk me through this - he only sounded annoyed in saying he was going to have to agree. Within 5 minutes I was out the door - short blonde lady all of a sudden trying to be nicer, noticing I'm no longer engaging with her as she tries to repeat exactly what the doctor just told me about how to administer treatment. YIKES! Never again. Please someone send me your dermatologist recommendation in the area!

Finally! A dermatologist with both knowledge and personality to help me out. Dr. Sood was immediately warm and welcoming, and even had me laughing in the first few minutes of my appointment. It's nice to feel like a human, and not just a number. Thank you!

I saw Nadya Edwards and she was excellent. I have recurring skin cancer on my face and she took care of everything very timely. I was referred to her from my son and daughter-in-law who told me she was really great! I am very happy to have a new skin care provider. Everyone in the office was kind, efficient and professional. It was easy to schedule an appointment around my extremely busy life.

Always on time. No wait. Office staff is very efficient. I have confidence in Dr McCracken.

I’ve been seeing another dermatologist for 25+ years and my PA referred me to this center and I met with Sophia who was awesome. So pleasant and thorough and professional yet incredibly personable at the same time. I felt as though she took the time to carefully listen and check my skin concerns and didn’t rush me through the process. It was refreshing to have a new set of eyes and perspective on my AZ sun-kissed skin and I’m soooo glad I switched. I felt very comfortable with her and her assistant. Just an overall pleasant experience. Especially when she didn’t feel it necessary to randomly biopsy a spot that didn’t need it which is how it began to feel with my previous provider. I’d highly recommend her to anyone!

I feel like they didn’t really want to help me at all! Went here because my primary care physician gave me a referral to this place. Went there and they looked at what I was referred to get looked at. Just felt like they really didn’t care about me and were just trying to rush me out of there. All in all it was not a good experience! Would not recommend to anyone!

Nadya (PA) was excellent! She explained what I had going on and really helped me understand my condition. Her assistant Janna was also terrific. I was taken to patient room on time (what?) and treated shortly after. Great visit! Even better bedside manner than I’ve had in quite some time. I was in and out of their office in 33 minutes and feeling great!

This is a top notch terrific Dermatology office. Everyone is helpful and really cares about you as a patient.

I have always been very pleased with the physicians, the PA's and the medical staff. I have been a patient for over 15 years. I have seen, the PA Nadya. Always sharp and professional. I see her twice a year: she just found two basal and one squamous spots. I had Dr. Petelin remove one today with two more appointments following as of today, and Dr. Clay Forsberg stitched me up. I highly recommend this practice.

Came in for my annual skin check. The Center for Dermatology & Plastic Surgery is Great! I have been coming here for years. Over the years, I have had a variety of needs. They have always exceeded my expectations.
Great Atmosphere, Great Energy, Great Reception Staff, and Associates.
My dermatologist Sophia has Great People Skills and it is ALWAYS A Pleasure seeing Her! She demonstrates excellent technical skills, is very compassionate, very medically knowledgeable and competent. I am soooo comfortable with her.
Her Staff is very, very caring, too. I met ANGEL today.she is definitely an Angel.friendly, caring, puts one at ease, and has a gift of humor. So comfortable with her. I also want to thank the great receptionist that checked me in at 735 AM today. She has great People Skills. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She opened the center today. Her positive energy and style is contagious!

They are always on time and answer my questions. They ATE in a hurry, in and out, but very thorough and the office staff are helpful and kind.

I don't want to return to the Center because I'm disappointed with Dr. Karin’s work. She was in a hurry and had no patience for me. She never bothered to ask me if my skin was in pain or not pain. She did not care about my feelings and thoughts. She didn't respect what I wanted for my skin. She wanted me to see her in four weeks for a complete skin exam. I don't want to see her again in four weeks due to how she performed on my skin.

I didn't come to the Center for mole biopsies, but I went there for several deep mole removals, not mole biopsies.

The Center is all about the money, not saving the patient’s money and time. The Center is not looking to keep the patients’ time and money.
