Central Animal Hospital, Tucson AZ

I've been going here since they first opened maybe 20 some years ago. I've never had a bad experience. Dr. Samuels has always taken care of my pets with professionalism and kindness. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

I would like to comment on my wonderful experiences
at Central Animal Hospital. I have taken two of my kittys there and the care they give is truly above and beyond. The staff is truly amazing and I would love to recognize Rachel, Kurt Jordan and Josh. Our pets have gotten exceptional treatment and I would recommend this place to anyone. I have referred to them all as the cat whisperers. Our baby just relaxes and gets the care he needs. Dr. Miller is wonderful and kind. Thank you all so much for your attentiveness and your love that you give. FIVE STARS

I love this place they take great care of tank. They get me in really fast if he needs it.

Awesome Vets & awesome staff. I had fosters puppies from birth and their mama and he was amazing with them. Now I take both my dogs there too.

Dr. Samuels has been my vet for over 25 years. You won't find a better vet in Pima County

Edit to my previous review: Very disappointed in Dr Samuels. I really liked him up until he completely disregarded my concerns about my cat when she was sneezing out blood and losing her vision. He wrote it off to allergies and old age. It took my pet sitter who used to be a vet tech to say that she should have her blood pressure checked. When I told my vet this, he wasn't going to do it because her kidneys were fine. I demanded to have it done, and low and behold, she has high blood pressure! She went blind because he didn't take my concerns seriously when I first told him about her symptoms. I won't be going back.

This is by far the best animal hospital in all of Tucson, imo. Both Dr. Samuels and Dr. Miller take the time to talk to you and treat you like a real person and your pet like an important part of your family, rather than a number, or just another client. Every time I've been there, they have taken lots of time to speak with me and answer every single one of my questions and/or concerns. They explained things I may not have understood completely, and let me know why they were important. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who loves their pets as much as I do. And especially for anyone as inquisitive as I am!:) The vet tech (I can't remember his name - Chris maybe?) is also incredibly awesome!

First visit, they are very organized. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Dr Miller got down on the floor with my puppy. Took time to get acquainted before the exam. Communicated well and was lots of fun. Love them

Dr Miller and staff are the best and have taken care of my fur babies for 10+ years. Very responsive and dedicated.

I took my dog here after being disappointed by my previous veterinarian of 6 years. I was so impressed by each member of the staff that I interacted with. They truly care about making your pet comfortable. Everything was explained so clearly and thoroughly. I've only had one appointment there, but my experience was definitely 5 star worthy.

This is the best place to take your pets. Compassionate & caring. Doctor Samuels is very kind & concerned about the well-being of my animals. Thank you.

Very fair prices and extremely caring staff. I take my cats and my birds there, and I believe my snakes as well. I can't give them enough praise:)

They are not accepting new reptile patients and this has been the case for two years and it appears there is no end insight.

Would not help me at all when I called on Sunday when my dachshunds hind legs went paralyzed.

The nicest people work there and are all so good with my dogs. Dr Miller explains everything she is doing as she goes along and tells you just what you need to do when you take your pet home.

Dr. Samuels, Dr. Miller and Central Animal Hospital staff have been my vet care team since about 1999. I've had 7 dogs and 3 cats in that time, all of them taken care of with great compassion and warmth.
They are wise, experienced and honest. Dr. Samuels ran an intervention on me when I fell into a specialist's money pit of pain management meds for my dog with glaucoma.
My one and only recommendation if asked is Drs. Samuels and Miller and staff at Central Animal Hospital!

Judy has always been a great vet to my dog family. Always honest about options for care and very clear about costs that may be involved. She has always treated my cattle dogs with the utmost care. My Australian shepherd who lived to be 13 and a half and my little lover Bella who is now 13. I would highly recommend her to any animal lover.

The staff here is very friendly and they treat your pet as if it was part of the family, which I know is what most of our pets are. The vet spent the time to talk to my dog and cat to get them relaxed.
