Dr. Castillo was awesome. He removed a decent sized lipoma from the back of my shoulder. The process was quick and he walked me through every step. I felt comfortable and at ease the entire time. I had a question a few days after my surgery on a Saturday and spoke to him directly. I can’t say enough.

Wonderful, caring staff! There is a reason Dr. Castillo has such an outstanding reputation. He provided great care and compassion with my 88 year old mother’s surgery. Her recovery was smooth and quick. The pre-procedure and post-procedure process was explained thoroughly. Thank you to Dr. Castillo and your superb staff!

I was a patient of Dr. Joni McIntyre’s. I can honestly say that I have not received patient care this good in quite some time. Dr. McIntyre’s bedside manner, knowledge, and experience are amazing. She took the time to explain things and educated me on my physical health issue. Dr. McIntyre prescribed me with an at home exercise routine that kept me from surgery. The team at Dr. Castillo’s office are truly there to help. They do not default straight to surgery as a means to cure you. That level of honesty speaks volumes! I highly recommend Dr. Joni McIntyre and Dr. Castillo.

Dr. Charles Castillo is the absolute WORST provider my mom and I have EVER worked with & I actually work in healthcare dealing with other providers daily. Dr. Charles Castillo is completely unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful in the way he communicates. My mom had a surgery done by this provider over a decade ago when she was admitted to a facility and at the time he was kind. So my mom wanted to book an appointment more recently as she’s trying to undergo a similar surgery. She went in for a consult but has worked with many doctors as of late due to her health so she has received conflicting responses. When she was asked about her medical history, she mentioned one instance before Dr. Castillo aggressively berated my elderly mother, basically stating her medical history (of ONE instance) is a full of lies when he had done absolutely no research to back up that claim. He then scolded and yelled at her, stating she has issues because she is fat, no other reason, and no one in there right mind would ever do surgery on a fat person. Not to mention he was yelling in a way that the entire office can hear, publicly humiliating my mother when he had no idea that we have been working on her weight and she is down about 50 lbs, expecting to loose more to get a a goal weight for surgery. He didn’t take ANY time to actually learn about her conditions before ripping into her. So he had no idea about the emotional and physical abuse my mother has faced throughout her life from men. Thanks to Dr. Castillo‘s awful services, he triggered her PTSD and my mom has had to try & recover for days. Then… Yes there’s more. Then a couple weeks later someone from Dr. Castillo‘s office called to inform my mom that they “checked” with the facility my mom “claimed” to receive services from but they couldn’t find a record of her. Basically reiterating that she’s a liar and if it *really* happened we need to find the paperwork and send it to them ourselves. As my moms POA, I already have this paperwork & yes it did happen but theres no way on God’s green earth that we will everrrrr be contacting this providers office again and I encourage anyone thinking about booking an appointment to RUN and run fast.

Dr. Castillo is AMAZING! Pre-op he took the time to listen to my concerns, gave me very detailed instructions, and was very knowledgeable in terms of specific practical details I needed to know. His staff was very attentive and completed all of my paperwork for surgery in a punctual manner. He is such an attentive Dr that he even asked my husband for his phone number to contact me as soon as the operation was over. You couldn’t find a more professional and attentive doctor. Hats off Dr. Castillo!
