Chevron, Mesa AZ

1st adding note experience. Just recently I’d worked at a chevron gas station and have been trained all around. One thing in sales is to charge selective customer’s who are not spending a certain dollar amount. The chevron rule is add fee to customers getting cash back at the clerks discretion. I ask the clerk tonight to switch the on Button to get a little free air adding look I’ll buy some scratcher’s. He tells me idk how, I’m new. No excuse. I know better. The clerk with no name tag on directs me to pay $2.00 like the Machines states. Ouch I felt a pinch in my back side. That’s ridiculous. I go down the road of course they win there. But after me posting this review, I was thirsty so much I ended up spending my money at Q-trip getting some free 5psi of air saving me gas money. Savages letting air of of my new tires and savages charging $2 after putting money on the counter if I got some cooperation. This technic is greedy corporate strings and forget building a customer loyalty relationship. Question is how high is chevron noise sticking out and far up? 3,4 inch’s?

I Only use the auto car wash. Nice system and I appreciate the towels they provide to touch up drying my car.

Nice place but 5 times in a row no paper in the gas pumps for receipts.

Gas pumps didn't work. Swiped my credit card at the pump, it told me to "See Attendant". So I drove away, went elsewhere and had no further issue. I will not be back to this place.

Fix your keypads and stock the receipt paper and then maybe I’ll think about paying extra money than elsewhere for gas here ‍️

After reading all the reviews for this Chevron station, I determined that my own experience was not isolated.
After trying two times to unsuccessfully purchase gas and utilize my Safeway card, I thought I would try one more time. BIG MISTAKE. This Chevron has no concept of customer service. None. I asked the attendant (who called herself a Manager - what a joke) if she knew how to correctly process the Safeway card, obtain the discount and purchase gas. She replied that she was the Manager and knew how. She didn't know how - she gave me incorrect instructions (told me that her store is different than other Chevron's) - and could not process my Safeway card. With a very arrogant attitude, she just stood there offering no explanation as to why it wouldn't work. Keep in mind she is the "manager" and represented that she knew how. After her computer froze, I told her to forget the Safeway card and get gas. The machine wouldn't exit what appeared to be to Safeway processing. She just looked at me and said nothing. After determining that not only would I not gas, her computer register would not cancel and allow me to start after I said I just want gas. And yes, she just stared at me with that arrogant disposition offering nothing to help me just buy gas. I really hope the store manager reads this and recognizes to teach her employees the concept of customer service. This location has no concept of customer service. This was my third attempt. I will not return and I strongly suggest others to stay away from this place. Plenty of Chevron stations exist that stand ready to assist and understand customer service. Not this place. Stay away. Read the other reviews on this place and notice similar remarks. The location is convenient but the service is anything but satisfactory. One star is actually too kind.
