5Always love coming to this park. Kind of a quiet park for the most part, but that's to be expected from a Children's Memorial Park.
River-side park with picnic Ramada, water, restrooms, play area and - off in a corner - a nice memorial sculpture garden.
It's nice to have a good park nearby. Not very many older kid type things to do in the park smells a little bit.
This park is well designed with about 4 to 6 "separate" but continuous areas.the children's memorial section is at the Eastern portion and is a good reminder of the fragility of childhood and instills a mood of heartbreak, compassion, and gratitude for the moments of play in our lives.there is a good number of water fountains which are turned on and functioning most or all of the year. There is a good mix of sun and shade and I bring my dog here throughout the year. Very wholesome place to be.
It's very pretty, ideal for children with a small section of books for them, a lot of space, it's beautiful although it would be better if it could be easily located.
