China Town Restaurant reviews
17This was an amazing dinner. Had the teriyaki chicken, the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and wontons. The wonton were hot and fresh.
The only good thing about this place was the portion size. The food tasted horrible, and it was Luke warm at best. The girl serving the food was nice, but it still sucked all around. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
Affordable, fast and quite decent. Did I say affordable? Pairs well with a cozy night at Motel 6!
The restaurant is called China Town Restaurant. Which tells me that it's a restaurant and not a buffet. No menu, no to go menu, just fill this Styrofoam container with what you see. Sounds like the cooking is done in the am, and then they hire someone to reheat and keep the steam table full. I won't waste my time if I can't get it fresh.
Please do not let the former run down KFC facade turn you off - this place may not be much, but the food is just fine for the money. I asked for a three item plate, and got two meats and an egg roll plus rice. My wife ordered similarly, and added soup (it comes in one size - large) and two drinks (also one size - small) and played less than $14.00 per person. Nicely done, but it was the portions that sold me. I will be eating twice from the same plate. The portions are LARGE.
Again, the place is old, but clean. The general tso's is not over battered, and each bite is sizable, and delicious. The teriyaki chicken was not too sweet, and also delicious.
My wife had some issues with the lo mein; I think this is a problematic noodle anyways, and I generally don't order it. The rice that came with my order was jus the way I like it - fluffy and sticky.
This place is definitely worth the money they definitely pile on the food.friendly customer service which is definitely a plus these days.
This place is a joke, buffet style, noodles were cold and sticky, sweet and sour chicken COLD errr, terrible place!
Typical American style, Chinese fast food everything is in take away. Containers service was quick.
A food was fresh hot and very good you got. The price was not bad at all. Couldn't eat at all through half a bit away. But really good food.
Many combinations with various pricing. Rice is mostly just white rice with vegetables. Noodles is other, or combo order with rice. Prices increase with meat options. Beef broccoli the best. Most travelers ordered to go. Fountain drinks Pepsi products.
A good bang for the buck. We stayed at the Motel 6 and we were pretty beat up from a day of hiking. The platter with 3 for meat items ($12) was enough for 2 people TBH. The lo mein & chicken mushroom were a little lacking in flavor and but the General Tso's chicken, and the beef and broccoli were pretty decent.
Always a huge portion of food for the money and cost efficient.the girl working seemed a bit lost that day however
We went here for the 1st time yesterday because we went to Winslow to purchase a box of glass decanters. My hubby and I each had 2 Items with Noodles, everything item was taste, fresh, and reasonable Priced.
The food is great, you can do half noodles and half rice, that is very good for me I like both and then the main dishes are great also!
A very great option to shake up the weekday. Such flavor. They are dine in friendly. Yummy!
Poor customer service skills I was ordering and the person behind the counter was looking down. No hello no greetings. I was with my family and I made one order the guy says "That's it"? I say "Nooo I'm obviously with more people I'm going to order more than one tray". Was only given three forks no spoon no napkins. I had to ask for more forks, napkins and the spoon for soup. The food wasn't so good. Lo Mein was dry no taste to it. Everything tasted bland of all the Chinese Restaurants I've been to this place wasn't so good. It was awkward so quiet, place was empty now I know why it was empty.
