Cielo Apartments, Phoenix AZ

AVOID at all costs. You will not rest well or live peacefully here. This place is completely infested with roaches and bed bugs, The AC systems are weak and full of mold and transmit smells, dander and smoke from neighboring apartments. The management seeks any opportunity to rob you out of your security deposit, like lying about condition of the carpet, the " Newly renovated" units are just cover ups with vinyl coated plywood, and tons of gaps in cabinet space harboring roach life. The units are also noisy and transmit sound from downstairs and upstairs neighbors, and they often contract the leaf blowers to come in the early mornings around 7am, going into the afternoon. There are much better options in neighboring apartment complexes.

Does anyone who live here know how to apply for the application when you are adding a applicant? Does the applicant have to make there own application? I’ve been having trouble trying to finish it. Someone please help.

My experience in renting an apartment at Cielo surpassed my initial expectations after seeing the mixed reviews. I'll admit I was skeptical at first, having had many nightmare experiences with past landlords and building management companies, but this was one of the best I've had to date, Phoebe in the leasing office was nothing but helpful throughout the entire process. They have fulfilled their end of the agreement, there hasn't been any unexpected trickery or problematic conditions that have made me regret moving in. The amenities are all there, they work, the pools are clean, the community is reasonably quiet and peaceful. Yes, there are sketchy people on the outer streets at night, but that really has nothing to do with the apartment complex. One area I think there could be improvement is in getting you the lease to sign before first move in payment, I thought I was done signing stuff before I paid the move in cost. Also the online resident portal was a bit clumsy and almost had my rent/lease term changed after initial approval, fortunately the leasing team was there to help out and get me signed up for that initial lease term/price point. Overall I would recommend them and feel free to check it out yourself.

Moved into the apartment and already in the first day it had cockroaches. I informed the front office and all they said they could do was have someone come spray on Monday. After a few months of still having some they offered to move us into another apartment which had twice the amount of cockroaches. When my sister and I finally moved out they tried to charge us saying we ruined the carpet. This place is overpriced and not worth it!

UPDATE. I have recieved great service from the staff. Phoebe has been great with my indecision on which apartment I wanted. Very accommodating. I'm looking forward to moving in.
I've called the office like 5 times and left 2 messages for questions about online application. I even sent email and no one will call me back or tespond. If they can't take the time to even rent the apartment it makes me wonder how I'll be treated once I live there? Very unprofessional and disappointing.

To be honest I am a very understanding, and patient person, but these apartments need to be shut down. When I had a cockroach problem they did the bare minimum to resolve the problem and their staff is SUPER RUDE AND CARELESS. Honestly their apartments look nice but it’s not worth is sis DO NOT LIVE HERE! I promise you, you can find better and you’ll be happier to not live here.

My daughter has been living here for the past six months in a beautiful renovated studio apartment. We haven't had any issues. Maintenance is great and always comes within 24 hours. The office staff has been kind and helpful. I felt very comfortable with her living at Cielo.

The storm that hit Phoenix at 3am on 10-07-2018 has once again stranded 4 apartments blocking us from leaving our apartments due to flooding we have called and left messages but no one has called us back. Now it's 3: 29pm and still stuck

Can't wait for our lease to end. Going on 3yrs and our rent keeps going up. We are paying rent, sewer, trash, water, pet fees, hidden fees, taxes, more trash fees, ALL ADDING UP TO $1000 or more a month for a 2bd 1bath. And starting in December they want us to pay the bills for common area? Psshh. Bye Felicia.

Rent went up every month, went under new management every few months. These apartments are infested with cockroaches I couldnt even move in on my move in date because the night I brought my things to Cielo I opened the door and seen at lease 100 cockroaches they did not go away when someone came and sprayed neither.

I've never had any trouble with this location. Affordable, simple environment. No trouble with neighbors or staff. Maitnence always show when expected. Pools are great. No shortage of parking. Over all no problems.

Horrible place ever to live in. The management is a worthless person. They allow people to break into your apartment and make you pay for the damages to the windows, doors and make you pay to change the locks.

They changed the name to Cielo from Maya Apartments because the other name had to many bad reviews instead of fixing the issues, they chose to just change the name!

Have gone through 4 management companies. It was a horrible place when I first moved in, and was just waiting for my lease to end. This new management group has done a lot to improve the place.

There's still a lot more that could be done like more security at night since there are a lot of visitors that feel that jumping the wall is far easier than walking the streets. Maybe more illumination and cameras to ward off vehicle vandalism.

But overall the place is improving. Good people

The staff is great and doesn't try to hustle you into anything they also show you around very well and now living here for a few months I'm glad I moved in the neighbors are great and friendly.

Very Polite staff in the office. Haven’t seen a single bug in my apartment. Great place to live

SLUM LORDS. BED BUGS. LEGAL ABUSE. DRUG ADDICTS. THEY'LL BREAK THE LEASE, BUT SUE RESIDENTS WHO BREAK IT TO ESCAPE THE UNTREATED INFESTATIONS. RUUUUUUUN!

If you guys dont mind being at home and coming home to no water for hours every other day this is the place to be they will shut the water off when ever because of leaks and will not tell you when they turn the water off this happens all the time

Courtesy patrol is non working number. I moved here because they said they would take care of noise complaints. A few of my neighbors are out past 11 pm yelling and playing loud music almost every night. If you can tell courtesy patrol to just assume they should tell people to talk quietly and shut their doors if they want to play music and talk. I should be able to sleep here.

Recently moved in washers and dryer on property sucks it doesn't wash any clothes its old and beat up. Water takes like 10 minutes to get hot so you are wasting water. Appliances are also old and outdated. Not one thing here I like stuck here for 9 more months! Do not move into these apartments trust me!
