Colt Grill was very busy when I arrived at 5: 30 pm. It was early (I thought), but decided to stay. The host, a young man who called me “Miss” many times (I liked that a LOT), could only seat me at the bar. That was great because I met a regular customer who treated the bartender, head cook, and waitstaff very, very well. And, they, in turn, treated him well. It was a pleasure to see such appreciation from both sides.

The Mahi Mahi tacos were out of this world. The fish was poached in herbs with a delectable sauce and avocado to finish.

Shawnell, the bartender, made sure my cocktail was created exactly the way I liked it.

Sisters weekend, we made this our first stop and am so glad we did. The brisket was amazing and serving sizes huge. Bringing my husband and boys next weekend. The staff was amazing, the young man, Jason, who took our order made our first visit here a breeze.

Visited for early dinner. Pleasant welcome and told to find a seat and order at the counter when ready. Sat outside. Great view of the smokers and got to watch the cooks working the pits. The staff were all very friendly. Food and was wonderful and came out quickly even though they were busy. The “filly” cheesesteak was a fresh idea and it delivered on taste as well. Highly recommend! Shared the flight of local whiskeys, which were strong but good. Patio is dog friendly. Really enjoyed and would visit again.

Best turkey club I have ever had. So much flavor and juicy! We ordered the fries also and they were so good very good flavor and nice and crispy. We are visiting and already talking about making another visit in before we leave.

Ordered the perfectly spicy Jalapeño popper burger and Grand Canyon margarita. Yum! Really enjoyed the ambience and music.

Visited for lunch while in town. Really good food. Onions rings!
Would eat there again for sure. I don't drink so I'm not a good judge of that side but it looked like everyone else was doing just fine

Awesome lunch today! Our meals are always great there but today was made extra special because we sat at the bar and had an amazing server named Jason! Thanks for the great service and delicious food!

First trip was for fish & chips, which were excellent. Already have an idea what I will order on my upcoming and never ending visits. Comfortable seating and pleasant environment. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food. I had the salad w brisket on it. I eat a lot of salads but that was one of the best! Really good and the brisket made it!

Been to this place many times before, and the barbecue is solid, however the service is almost always a disaster. This time was the final straw. I came in at 8: 10 p.m. Looking to get food to go, and I was immediately told that they were "basically closed". Being open or closed is not on a gradient. You are either serving or you're not. It's not like I'm asking to sit and hold you up all night. I get that you're trying to go home, but it takes a couple of minutes to put some beef brisket and coleslaw in a box. I ended up eating across the street and they were nothing but cordial to me the whole time and the food was amazing. I won't be returning to Colt grill until they can figure out what hospitality means. No one wants to be treated like an unwanted guest when they pop into your establishment during your posted operating hours. It's embarrassing, and frustrating. Slightly above average barbecue can be found in every major city in america, and colts is not worth putting up with people like this

Four people behind the counter talking but you have to get your food! Ordered mushroom hash, mushrooms and onions hard. (DONT NEED TO have the food out 2 minutes), if you had Cook's that actually cared about what they cooked or a manager that look at a single plate. 3 completes in 20 minutes. Hashbrown soft no flavor, order the side of hash brisket, ninety-five 95% potato littlest no flavor square not able to taeste any brisket.

Sedona and the Grand Canyon were an awesome experience but the BBQ at Colt was the shining star during this trip! Got the meat platter, 1/2 smoked chicken, beans and Texas toast, was ready for bed an hour later.
Talk about the meat sweats, just crazy great food! Brisket was so tender and what a smoke ring on this fella. Turkey breast wasn't dry at all and the baked beans, figured they would be sacrificed for the meat.nope. My girl and I couldn't stop picking at them until they were gone. If you're at Cottenwood, Sedona or Jerome then you have to come get the best que around!

Festive/positive atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. It is a little loud and homey. Didnt get to finish our meal because our toddler freaked out, which is the usual. But if she hadnt, we would have dined and enjoyed the place so hard.

We've eaten there twice, both visit consistently great food and beverages. Burgers, pork, chicken and fish with comfort sides. Local brews and a good wine selection. Free parking out front on the street, or free parking a short block away. Prices are very reasonable too. Friendly staff, outdoor seating with fans and misters. What's not to like? !

Such a cute place! It was packed but not too packed you don't want to eat there. The server was amazing and the food was even better. Definitely happy with our visit. My friends going to have them cater her wedding

The food was excellent! I have a pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. Very yummy! We are on the porch and it was hot, no air moving. Finally someone turned on the misters and it was better, but a fan moving air (from the street-side towards the smokers) would have made it tolerable.

The food was great! But trying to enjoy the outdoor patio with the huge number of flies was a bit off-putting. There seemed to be more than in other outdoor locations in the same area.

I just think no one has better briscuit anywhere, check this place out all hours of day, Eggs Benedict for breakfast gteat sandwiches for lunch & dinner is awesome too. Choices of great Bbq sauces go with great dinners & this is the place for goodelecious dinners. Great beer 2
