Ordered a custom piece of glass for a nightstand that I am making. There was an issue with the first piece that was made and they made sure to correct the order quickly and accurately.

On 9/24/2021 I went to SW Tucson Lowe’s Home Improvement, picked out a shower door, paid to have a detail done. That day I received an email from Lowe’s stating that someone from Columbus Glass would call within three days to schedule the detail, and that within 7 days the invoice for the door and installation would be available. It took 27 days to get that invoice — and only then because I called Lowe’s asking when it would be ready and Lowe’s called Columbus Glass. That day, October 21,2021 I went to Lowe’s and paid $1191.00 for the new shower door and for the installation.

The shower door was available at Lowe’s for pick up by Columbus Glass five days later. After numerous calls to Columbus Glass they finally came out to install the shower door on December 2,2021. After the installers took away the old shower door and started to install the new shower door they realized that they didn’t bring top crossbar holding the doors together. So they had to go back to their store and pick it up. An hour later they arrived with that piece but it had been cut too short by Columbus Glass so they couldn’t complete the install. They said they would order a new top crossbar. In the meantime I was without a shower door in the master bathroom. I called Columbus Glass weekly as to the status of the order. Every time, Columbus Glass said they would check into it and call me back. They NEVER called back. After 5 weeks I called Columbus Glass again and was told they couldn’t do anything until the part arrived. I asked them to call the manufacturer and get an approximate date for shipping the part so I would have some idea of whether it was going to be days, weeks, or months before I would have the installation completed. I was told by Columbus Glass, (direct quote) “I don’t have time to call them. ”

So once again I drove to SW Lowe’s. I told the sales person who immediately called the manufacturer. The manufacturer said that there was no order for that part. Columbus Glass never ordered the part. So the Lowe’s sales person ordered the part for me. On January 19th the part arrived at Lowe’s, I drove to the store and picked up the part.

Then I called Columbus Glass and told them I had the part and to please come out immediately and finish the installation of the shower door which began on December 2nd, 2021. Columbus Glass said they would check with the installers and call me back. They didn’t call back. So I called again on January 21st, and was told they would check into it and call me back. They didn’t call back that day, nor the next day. So on January 26th I called again. At first I was told that I would have to call Lowe’s. So I explained this entire ordeal to them. They said I would need to talk with April at Columbus Glass but she wasn’t available. April called me a few minutes later and eventually scheduled the completion of the install for February 7th (12 Days later!). After all of this, they put me at the back of the line for having someone come out to complete the install they started December 2nd.

What started on September 24,2021 finally ended with the shower door being installed on February 7,2022.

From the very start Columbus Glass has made little effort to want my business. They are either negligent or incompetent or both. 1) they cut the top crossbar too short. It actually didn’t need to be cut at all but they measured the shower incorrectly, 2) because they forgot to order a new top crossbar, 3) because they never followed up with the manufacturer about delivery of the top crossbar, which if they did they would have discovered that it was never ordered, and 4) they wouldn't return phone calls, including saying, “I don’t have time to call. "

I’ve owned homes for 49 years and this is the worse experience I’ve ever had with a contractor.

Had two sun screens made up. They called it was ready and to see Tommy about clips for installing the screens. Door was locked when I got there. Had to ring bell and wait to get in. They gave me the screens and said Tommy wasn’t there and had no clips for screens. That was it, just ignored me after that. Would never go back. To many other shops in Tucson that care about there customers. Ended up jerry rigging the screens to get them installed

Fast and friendly service. Was able to match the right size and thickness perfectly at a very affordable price. I personally Highly Recommend them and speak enthusiasticlly about them to all of my friends. They have done a great job at replacing a glass top to my jewelry case years ago and I never forgotten about that. They are worth going out of your way to take all of your glass needs to and they will easily prove to you that they are The Best in Tucson.

I needed a piece of glass replaced for one of my windows. Columbus Glass and Screen was able to replace the glass without having to replace the entire window and pane. They were also very honest and reasonably priced.

Columbus Glass and Screen replaced broken glass on doors from
a cabinet that I ordered online. The doors arrived with broken glass on the original shipment and on the replacement so I gave up on having them arrive without being damaged. When I brought the doors to their shop at first site it seemed like it would not be possible for them to insert the glass due to the way the cabinet was constructed. I had received the same response for another place that I took them first. The other place gave me a flat out it’s not possible and sent me on my way. I have used Columbus Glass and Screen several times and always have had good experiences. I should have gone to them first. I went to the other outfit because a friend recommended highly and I thought since my friend was putting the cabinet together I would go to his recommendation. The person that helped me at Columbus said it would be a challenge due to the way the cabinet was constructed because there was no way to take the doors apart, but he didn’t give up. He took on the challenge and found a way to disassemble the cabinet in order to insert new glass. I appreciate the fact that they didn’t give up right away and found a way to make this work. They were friendly and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Columbus Glass and Screen.

The photo attached to this is not the photo of Columbus glass and screen work it is a photo from an much older review I put on Google for a tile company. I don’t know how to remove it.

Very friendly company with very high level of expertise in dismantling and reinstalling full glass mirror walls in our Dinning room. I felt the price was very reasonable. They also figured out a way to reinstall new rollers on my 60-year-old patio steel doors when other companies didn’t want to touch them, they work like they’re new.
