Comfort Inn I-17 & I-40 reviews
18We only stayed one night, excellent service. Very comfortable beds (the best). Very varied and good breakfast. A highly recommended place.
This place was the best Comfort Inn I’ve ever stayed at. The place has a wonderful warm atmosphere. The staff is very professional. The rooms are super clean and comfortable.
Pros: customer service, comfy lobby, free breakfast, location
Cons: hard beds, older rooms, breakfast was okay
Stayed 3 nights in November. Great place and good value. Quiet. Perfect location. Friendly staff. Love the layout and main level. Would definitely return!
Clean, comfortable, spacious, pet friendly You just can leave your dogs at all, breakfast options a plus
Great location in Flagstaff. Rooms were clean. They only clean your room on request. We were there 5 nights and never had housekeeping. It was okay because we had plenty of towels. If you want your room cleaned, you must request it before 10 am.
The breakfast is good and offered at no additional charge.
The lobby is cozy and reminds me of a mountain lodge. I'll be staying here again in the future.
From what I paid, the hotel was great. They have a good breakfast buffet. The room was clean. We spent 6 nights and found it conveniently located near NAU and town.
They have a great lobby with a fireplace.
If you stay for multiple nights, you must request that your room be cleaned.
The rooms and service, especially at breakfast and just throughout our stay at Comfort Inn, were awesome. My only complaint is that the beds are definitely very firm and for someone with back problems that's hard to sleep on. The inn is by plenty of restaurants and shopping.
Nice, quiet and cozy! They have a great room with various types of seating to kick back and relax by yourself but big enough to handle groups. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious!
Good value, breakfast was good. Very nice area with fireplace and cozy chairs to lounge around anytime of day. On the corner of a busy road.
Loved this hotel! Excellent front desk service, great breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms, and the fireplace in the lobby was such a great addition.
Nice hotel close to NAU. A little pricey for a Comfort Suites, but I wouldn't hesitate staying here again. The lobby and dining area is really nice and a nice fireplace for friends to mingle around. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Only downside was that we were on the street side which was noisy in the morning. Ask for the parking lot side if you stay here.
Overall a pleasant stay.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Rooms were clean and spacious.
Location was perfect for us to easily get to Pepsi Amphitheater for the concert we were in town to see. Very walkable to restaurants too.
First of all, the breakfast was exceptional. There was so much to chose from that you don't have to eat the same thing every day. The location is perfect, and in a cute college area of town surrounded by pine trees. The hotel itself had a ski lodge type feel, which made our stay so cozy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here. 10/10
Everything is great except the location. It is next to freeway so that it is pretty noisy even with windows closed. The breakfast is fantastic.
Nice room, nice staff, practical location. Fresh cookies on arrival!
What’s with all the single use plastic at breakfast though? ! Giving an environnemental excuse to clean up the room only on request when you’re throwing tons of plastic to landfills doesn’t make any sense.
Get a dishwasher guys.
This review is of the very rude staff. I have a pickup and trailer. I parked in the parking lot and was told I had to move my truck to the driveway. The driveway is steep and not marked for parking. After I told them I would not park in unmarked parking and the narrow driveway, I went to my room. They harassed me, and when I demanded a full refund and I would leave, they refused and threatened to call the cops on me. What a great way to treat a Dimond member who stays in hotels 3-4 weeks a month. After the 3rd time of harassment I booked a room at another hotel and left. Blocking the driveway is a safety issue and would restrict first responders from getting in should they be needed. Not to mention, should my vehicle been hit, I would have been at fault for being illegally parked in the driveway.
This so should have been a five star review!
We started out with the amazing Ms. Faith who checked us in and was absolutely fabulous!
The property is lovely and extremely well appointed, breakfast was fantastic, hot, well stocked and spotless!
Then things went south…
Having been at the hotel alone for 2 nights while my wife had surgery the moment she was released I wanted to share this lovely hotel with her and we inquired about staying one more night… ABSOLUTELY, says, whom I believe was the Front Desk Manager or possibly the Hotel Manager, we will extend your stay at the same rate you have paid the last two nights… as he went to extend our stay he said “oh gosh, I forgot it was Friday” the rate will be almost double… to which I replied, but you just told me the rate would stay the same….
His answer was “there is nothing I can do”.
There was DEFINITELY something he could have and SHOULD have done as a manager and that was to honor the price he had JUST seconds before quoted me!
I completely understand that rates change but once a rate is quoted it should be honored, ESPECIALLY by the Hotel and/or Front Desk Manager!
So unfortunate!
