Copper Canyon Apartment Homes, Phoenix AZ

I really miss Aaron and his team. Copper canyon has been my home for more than 4 years and it used to be a wonderful place call home. But things turned around for us with the new management. Water leaked from my outside bathroom for over six months, the management did nothing about it. Until I started posting pictures on their website before they came and got it fixed. Things were not going well between me and the new management. I I was left with no other option but to move out. I wholeheartedly love the complex and where it’s situated but the new management don’t know what they’re doing.

The management is horrible, the water gets cut off for hours monthly, they say us next to a crack addict family, they let the upstairs flood, it's bug infested, if we plug something into one wall, a whole other wall shuts off. But it used to be good, it has 2 pools a basketball court, and a sand pit (the sand pit is bug infested and cats used it as a litter box) and the road it's connected to is so dangerous, about once a week there's an accident, and a few times in the 4 years we were here, there was a few people who crashed into the outer wall and once into an apartment containing a 4 year old. Also, there is more than annual rent increases. There is also a horrible community. I woldn't recommend. (You probably should ignore good reviews from before mid to late 2021)

Find somewhere else that don’t charge you a $75 late fee for being a day behind because of the holidays. They will it work with you and they money hungry

Water is constantly getting shut off, pools not being cleaned then closed for "maintenance". Nothing is ever fixed properly, maintenance staff are lazy and do not want to do anything! The manager has no clue what they are doing when it comes to rent charges; charging more than stated in my lease agreement! Dumpsters are constantly overflowing as if the apartments didn't pay their trash bill! Ridiculous, moving ASAP!

Update 2- Cutting off the water with no notice is a SAFETY HAZARD! Today I was working with a medication that need to be washed off the hands but no water! At this point the apartments need to be shutdown down if they are not willing to get competent staff. Worst apartments EVER!

Horrible place to live now with new management. They cut off the water several times a week with zero notice for hours at a time. What if I have chemicals in my hair or need to clean out a wound. I guess they think it can wait.

Dogs off leashes and poop all over the place. They even let the garbage bins fill all the way up with trash making the apartment smell. Patio checks for people who live downstairs, and fines if they find anything they don't consider patio furniture. As if we're not already paying more for this dump than we should.

New management came and the apartments took a turn for worst.

Listen to your tenants. Replace current management team

P.s. It seems the apartments remove most negative reviews because this is a repost and I have seen several other posts removed. Don't be fooled by the positive comments.

Worse apt in Arizona! They turn off the water without notice, move in date was pushed back for 3 days, even though we paid early & management has comprehensive problems!

Yesterday I went by there and it looked very nice, I also saw a sign that said 599 with the viles included, I need to know more details I'm interested

Staff members and property manager are very polite and friendly, they respond quickly and good with communication, work orders are also done quickly after being placed. Kimberly, leasing agent is very happy, energetic, and good energy when it comes to speaking with her.the community seems quiet the neighbors are friendly, they have two pools and laundry mat on site, or w/d hooks ups in apartments if you would like.both one and two bedrooms are nice and spacious.

(Bock-Bracco) This is my 5th year here and after having 4 Horrible to mediocre at best manager's, Nancy is the newest manager She is wonderful she is on top of workorders she just had a new tub put in my unit after it being fixed 6 times by otner managers and it kept cracking and cracking it's absolutely beautiful. Work orders get done pronptly & residents who don't abide by the lease are removed from the property I hope this is our permanent Management and maintenance team going forward because I am thrilled with them.

WAKING UP TO POLICE AND GUN DRAWN AT AN APARTMENT!
We have had at least 3 break-ins I know of in a weeks time. Two that I called police for because vacant apartment across from me.
Now my poor neighbor had someone possibly break-in to hers!
DO NOT RENT HERE! IT IS NOT SAFE AND MANAGEMENT DOES NOTHING!

Have lived here for many years. Used to be decent when we had Aaron as manager and now it has gone down hill! HOMELESS walking though daily, nightly and even break in to apartments when they find out it’s vacant. They will test door’s during the day at times or watch to see who may or may not answer. The rent is NOT worth it and cost too much for run down older apartments. The staff which now has 3 office personnel, and it’s not needed because no one does anything! The head maintenance is worthless and will say something is fixed and isn’t or says nothing can be or even says it was fixed and not fixed! There is so much rudeness and unprofessionally managed now! People have 3 or 4 cars that do not run but yet they’re always parked and not moved. Everyone was supposed to have stickers that you live here but most do not and managers do not enforce it! The 2nd entrance gate is locked most of the time which is a safety hazard, if there is an emergency and the main entrance is blocked you can not get out. If you do decide to live here HAVE YOUR OWN CAMERAS for protection! Even then it’s not enough at times. NO roving security at night.when you call the police for things they know this place so much because they’re here a lot and don’t come really fast. If you can find another place so so. The area has gone down hill and management managers do nothing.

I highly DONT recommend. So ghetto here.

Update #3 these apartments are not worth the price and expect a bug issue. Leak issue, plumbing issues and more!

Update #2: Don’t move here. They want to inspect ur patios every month and fine you for things that the don’t consider patio related. The apartments have outdated appliances. When something goes wrong they just find an appliance from another unit. & no microwave here’s. This place acts like they are a luxury apartment. Leaks in the unit when there is rain.

I moved here I should have not signed a lease this place had the WORST PARKING SITUATION BY 330 pm literally can’t ever find a parking spot. Everyone stays in so you constantly have to worry will there be a parking spot. Ppl have like 3-4 cars. And parking is not assigned. Regret moving here. Maintenance takes forever. The 2 bedrooms are not worth $2k. If I was able to post photos of how sloppy the units are I would but I can’t seem to upload

I did a tour already it’s decent for the price can’t beat it BUT the online is horrible it never works. I called so many times and left a VM to get the lady at the office to send me the link to apply like she told me. I also know she’s not touring because I went Monday and she said there won’t be an apartment to tour until 12/24/2021. So I’m not sure why the calls are never answered it’s frustrating. I’m rating a 2 based on the customer service at the leasing office BASED on calls. But she is nice in person I won’t discredit her for that. Please answer the phones though
