Copper State Home Builders, Mesa AZ

I wish I could give 0 stars on this situation. We started reconstruction with them back in March 2023. Not only did this company not complete the reinstall of my mothers kitchen renovation but one of their workers also stole cabinet doors and draws (which have yet to be replaced) and lied stating he returned them. They escalated the situation months ago to Lorenzo who claimed to be the person they call when the situation needs to be fixed. Lorenzo is equally as unresponsive as his “subordinates”. They reinstalled the sink only for it to fall off of the counter the following day. They reached out to my family for final payment on a job to this day (9/26/23) still incomplete and still missing pieces of my mothers kitchen. They screen calls to their office manager Brooke who is conveniently “in a meeting” whenever myself or my mother calls. Please do your research when it comes to who you let into your home. They energy is Terrible with this company. I just wish my elderly mother wasn’t so trusting. I’m praying that this review will expedite this complete before we have to result to legal representation.

Copper State was great! Not only that, but Dyllan, the mitigation specialist that helped me, was the best. Dyllan was incredibly knowledgeable of the process and answered all of the questions I had. He even sat down with me to call my insurance (which can be a real pain) and made the process incredibly easy. Thank you for your help!

Very professional. Francisco and Tim were very helpful and informative. They answered all my questions and help me file a claim with my home owners insurance. They got the job started quickly and informed me of how the whole process would go.

When we unexpectedly started seeing water come up from our floors, I immediately called a local 24/7 plumber to help us out. They recommended Copper State to join them as they were worried I had water damage from the leak. I'm so glad they did. Francisco showed up late on a Tuesday night and was so kind and helpful through this super stressful situation. He took all the pictures he could and helped me understand next steps. He has continuously been two steps ahead of me which has had this entire process smoother. He has also been a tremendous help with filing and navigating my insurance claim to ensure I'll be take care of instead of taken advantage of. Now that the plumber fixed the leak and Copper State has completed the demo, I'm eager to get this project finalized and wrapped up with them and our insurance company. I know I'm good hands with this company. Highly recommend.

Whoever drives the dodge ram with the tech 1 plate you're driving up behind people at an unsafe distance, not using turn signals and going way over the speed limit and almost hit my car. I'm pretty sure when you have the company wrapped all over your vehicle you should be setting a good example and image instead of disobeying the laws and creating potential safety issues for other drivers.

Dyllan and his team have been very good to me for my water damage + re-pipe project. Dyllan kindly sat me down to explain in simple terms how insurance would cover for the project. His team also did a great job leaving my house intact as they set up and took down containment elements for the mitigation portion.

I do think the communication can improve. I wish the members would let me know a day in advance that they are coming to do X as part of mitigation, but usually they wouldn't notify me until 30 minutes before arriving.

Dylan was incredibly helpful and clear with what the issue was, how to fix it and what it would require from me. The cost was much lower than I would have thought, and everything went smoothly. I highly highly recommend Copper State!

I would recommend copper state home builders to anyone with flooding issues in your house.
There were at my house within an hour of my flood and started the clean up immediately.
With the help of my project coordinator Kendra Culbertson the clean up and rebuild went seamlessly.

Dyllan can into my home and was very professional. He explained everything to me in plain English. By the time he left I had a full understanding of what was going on and how they were approaching my issues and for the insurance company to be able to process my claim. Although I do most of the repairs in our home, he was actually and wealth of information.

Back in May 2023 I had a leak in the ceiling of our home office. My plumber recommended that Copper State Home Builders be contacted to help with what was to be a demo and replace project via the ceiling. Within a day, I met with a Copper State rep and after a brief inspection, contacted my Insurance company with me to begin the remediation process. When the Insurance company opened a claim we were able to have Copper State begin work. I was very fortunate to have KENDRA CULBERTSON of Copper State assigned to the project and she assisted me every step of the way in getting the project completed. While it was back and forth with the Insurance company to try and get approvals for various parts of the repairs, she stuck with it, keeping me in the loop the entire time, with emails and calls. Kendra saw to it that their own claims rep was able to do a cost estimate of getting my home back in order. While it did take 2 months to complete the entire demo and repair, NOT Copper States fault, she saw to it that the actual repair company assigned was prompt in contacting me and getting the job done, and did an outstanding job. Immediately upon completion of the job, Kendra checked the line items to insure all was done as recommended. I would like to say that I am very happy that I was able to have Kendra on my ‘job’. She is a great, friendly, and understanding representative for Copper State. A great asset in my opinion.

Kendra and her team were very responsive and professional. She answered all my questions in a timely manner. And was very patient with me when I asked a lot of questions. Would recommend them for restoration projects.

Dyllan was prompt professional and was able to help us through an unexpected water leak. He made the process easy for us and explained everything from start to finish in great detail. Would definitely trust him with future work or projects.

We are so thankful for Copper State and their attention to detail. Gene, Kendra and the rest of the crew at Copper State have been outstanding. The level of service has been a breath of fresh air. They jumped to action with their mitigation services and are actively communicating and working with our insurance adjuster to get everything remedied. We will follow up with an update when everything is complete.

Khalif was very friendly, informative and helpful. He handled everything for me. He answered any questions I had and delt with insurance so I didn't have to. I am very thankful for Copper State & for Khalif and his great customer service

Our upstairs started leaking into our living room last night. How can we afford this? Will our insurance cover this? How long will it take? With more questions than answers, we got ahold of Copper State Home Builders and they were incredible. The insurance, measuring, the paperwork; Dyllan took care of everything. He was fantastic, reassuring us our brand new home would be well taken care of fast and with quality workmanship. Dyllan is a breath of fresh air in a world where companies try to take advantage of your misfortune, he and the rest of Copper State Home Builders work with integrity and compassion!
