Copper Steer Steak House reviews
16Food was ok. We ordered a couple of steaks medium term, but they served us well done steaks. Service was good and they were very polite to adjust to our requests.
We went upstairs to the bar area last night 9/1/23 and waited at the bar for about 15 minutes before any of the 3 bartenders spoke to us, then took our drink order. We ordered a top shelf margarita and and a steerburst. The one bartender asked the other to make them and she poured vodka and Malibu rum into a glass that probably totaled about a half ounce and sat the glass down. We asked for a menu for apps and was given a dinner menu that didn't have appetizers on it. Waited about 15 or 20 more minutes on our drinks that never was finished with 3 ladies working behind the bar. We finally just got up and walked out and went somewhere else. We will most likely be back because we would like to have a nice meal there but I don't think we will be visiting the bar area again. Vm
Disappointing.
My family's first time here and it was not good at all. I don't recommend going here. So it took around 40+min to get our appetizers. Plus our food. And we still didn't even get our whole appetizers.
Simple order of onion rings, fried zucchini sticks, mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers and potatoes skins and only got the Jalapeño poppers and potatoe skins. With only two entrées. After waiting for so long my patience ran out and I decided that we should go this was before any food was even put on the table. As soon as I said that the waitress left and came back within 2 minutes with the food and only 2 appetizers and asked us if we still wanted the food. Definitely guilt tripping us into staying.
At this moment my hunger was gone and just said "eff it" feeling guilty. And the poppers sucked. The potatoe skins were just thrown together with huge blobs of sour cream. Like, hey presentation matters! Two of our plates were chipped off.
My entrees were half rack of ribs and my wife got 7oz sirloin and that food was just mediocre at best. Nothing special and not worth the price. And our service was also bad. We only interacted with our waitress twice when we sat down and when we left. It also made us feel bad when we saw people arrive after us, getting their appetizers and food before us.
P. S bathrooms are 1 star too.
I had the ribs, and they were delish! The sides were okay. The service was lacking, and the food took a very long time to arrive.
Being a small town options on restaurants are limited. Very sad news on the recent passing of the owner. Been here on many occasions and the biggest thing they could work on is the food. Recently there are many things "unavailable" which is concerning for the future of the restaurant. In addition food often comes out cold, and the asparagus in my opinion is under cooked still being fairly firm vs softer. Not sure if this is just my personal preference but yeah. I tend to go on less busy times and it helps with the timeliness and warmth of food. Typically the servers are very friendly and attentive so kudos on this. Probably a main reason to go.
Horrible service never got refill only saw our server 4 time the whole 2 hours we where there, staff is rude 1star would not recommend the food was cold and tasted like a 5 year old made it and it was 80$ for 2 people
First 2 times I went I got the ribeye, both times mine was overcooked, the third time I ordered prime rib, it wasn’t a prime rib. I like my steaks medium rare and prime rib medium, it was an over cooked steak, not prime rib. The first server, Kathy, was awesome, the other 2 were awful, I dont even remember their names.
My filet steak was merely okay but my husband's filet was tough. Our baked potatoes were both hard and cold so we sent them back.
Steak was cooked to Med Rare perfection, which seems to be a lost art anymore haha. Ambiance was good, establishment was clean. Food was fantastic.
My fiancée and I loved this place. Amazing steak and atmosphere, great date night for parents.
The food is about $10 more then Texas Roadhouse. I just got a burger and fries. My photo represents $19 burger a few fries. As you can see they must be having a shortage on fries and mayonnaise. The bar tender was so busy I had to go downstairs and get mayonnaise myself. And what's with the $1 credit surcharge? Just another way to get extra money out of over priced food? Of course everyone going to use a card at those prices.
Food was fantastic, service was poor they only take care of their local customers by giving them bread. Why you wait for your food for fifteen to twenty minutes.
The restaurant is one of the nicer ones in the area. The food is good; howbeit a tad bit expensive. The environment is clean and there is a couple different options for seating. There is a more casual environment upstairs and a nicer location in the main dining. Either way the service is good. I’ve always enjoyed the food although the steaks tend to be over cooked. As long as the steak is ordered a little more rare than you like it, it will come out perfectly.
I'll start off with they charge $3.00 for a side salad and. 50 for the ranch/dressing. The salad dressing should come with a salad! They also added $1.00 surcharge for credit card payments when we were paying cash. They did take that part off but not the salad dressing charge! Watch for ridiculous up charges.
Other than that, the food was great. I had the ribs and my husband had the Ribeye. The ribs were fall off the bone good! The staff was friendly. It took a little longer than usual for the food to come out but not too bad.
Love this place for food and entertainment! Bingo and cornhole are so much fun! Their wood grilled steaks are the best!
This place has continued to go downhill the last several years. The service is incredibly slow, food takes forever, steaks come out super bland, and they've started reducing their portions and taking things off the menu but upping the prices.
