Corona de loma trail reviews
9 Great trail that ties into lots of other trail options. I started with the Warpaint loop, which is not too tough and reasonably well maintained. On the way back, I took the Sidewinder loop back. That was a little more rigorous, especially near the top of the mountain, but the views were pretty good from up there.
No services at the trailhead, so come prepared for that.
Easy hiking trail, with detours if you want a little climb. Take water and a gps/phone; there are no facilities.
Trails are nice and easy. Saw more trash than I like. We are going back out this Sunday, Oct 14 to pick it all up
Nice easy hike, but leads to more difficult fun hikes, more vegetation than other parts of South Mountain
Great trail! Very family friendly! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good easy going trail.:)
Super sketchy, gnarly decent. This is a double black and hikers should not attempt to climb from the bottom as it is a one way trail with lots of bicycle traffic. So much fun to ride, but honestly for hiking there are way better options with less bike traffic.
I really enjoyed this hike! Good work out with an incline climb of 219. Great views and many trail options! Went twice this week
Awesome trail nestled within some prime real estate. Almost feels like a private trail. Nice cruising running trails that avoids some of the hubbub of the more popular South mountain trails like Puma Canyon and Mornon National.
Super gnarly descent. Well worth the 1500' of climbing. Not for a matures black diamond for sure!
