Cottages at Tucson Apartments reviews
15I love the cottages and was interest in learning more. I went to the in person office to learn more and Sina was incredibly helpful. She took the time to diligently answer all my questions and make sure I had the right resources. Sina created a very welcoming environment!
So far it has been a nice place to live and the staff has been very friendly. One staff member that has been exceptionally friendly is Caleb in the leasing office, he always greets anyone in the office with a smile and is always polite. Overall a pretty nice place to live.
Nice amenities but not sure about the physical security yet. Shooting at complex on 9/18/2023, and my daughter just had her vehicle stolen (2016 Buick Encore) from outside her front door. U A campus police have oversight responsibility and Tucson PD 911 is quick to make the referral. However after dialing UA campus police and being ignored on hold for 2 minutes, I hung.up, and radiated 2x.
I moved out of the cottages last year. I had a good experience living there; but I have been emailing and calling to get my check with my leftover balance since august 2022, and I am still waiting to be contacted with new information about my check. It should not be this difficult.
I will give this company and this whole whatever it is a zero. The phone service is horrible, and even walking into the front lobby was a mess. False advertising on their website saying that their units are sold out, most certainly not and there is at least 20 people trying to get out of these apartments (that tells you how much they are trying to suck money out of these kids). Please do not go to this area. DONT THINK TO LEASE FROM THEM!
Don’t live here.they don’t clean between residents, nor do they care about you other than your money.the other 4/5 star reviews are an incentive given by the company to residents in exchange for merch or other activities.security is a joke, and we’ve had things stolen, broken in to, and packages missing without a care. $722 for a room in a 6 bedroom house is NOT cheap, and no utilities are included.even if they reply to other 1 star reviews and say to reach out, they genuinely don’t care.
Update
A month after the original review
The network was down again at 11pm, June 20th. There is no notification/email told us that the network would be down tonight.
Original review
The network performance has been terrible over the past year. Whenever I played games or had a Zoom meeting, I would frequently encounter lagging or disconnections. These disruptions usually lasted for 5-10 seconds and occurred multiple times per hour, especially after 5pm when everyone returned. Although it didn't bother me much as it only lasted for a few seconds, the reason I decided to write this review is because it took me a frustrating 30 minutes of waiting to finally reconnect to the Wi-Fi provided by COTTAGES.
Damitre from the front desk helped me out a lot when I first moved in and has helped me everytime I’ve asked.:)
I have been very impressed with the staff and their professionalism. I am so thankful for the manager Venus that helped me through a small issue we had and would highly recommend this complex to other parents for their son or daughter that is looking for housing after dorm life!
I love living at the cottages! The staff is so friendly! If you have a problem it gets fixed instantly! I highly recommend living here, I feel so safe as well and it’s very peaceful!
I used to live at one of the high rises on campus and to be honest the cottages is way better. It's very convenient, especially that you can literally park in front of your own house. The pool is massive, clean, and maintained. The management is easy to talk to and will help resolve any issues you may encounter. The cottages is very "homey" that I had to resign my lease.
I've been living here since 2020 and overall it's been a great experience. Everyone in the front office is always super nice and helpful. I personally want to shout out Damitre for all the hard work he does and just how friendly he is every time he helps me at the front desk.
An inviting college atmosphere with a whole lot of amenities to help you succeed in school like complimentary computers to use in the study room and a shuttle to get you to school so u don’t have to worry about a $700 parking pass Very satisfied with the service as a whole but Damitre helped me sign my lease and answered all my questions with high professionalism.
I loved the Cottages so much after getting such an amazing tour from Shamarie. She was really good at highlighting all the cool places like the pool and the jumbotron.
This is my second lease at the Cottages and it’s your best choice for off-campus student housing. Definitely getting what you pay for here, can’t beat the price for what you’re getting (private bathrooms, in unit laundry, spacious rooms). Thank you to Shamarie for the great tour, everyone in the office is helpful and kind.
