Went with a group of friends to the Silver Saddle Room at the Cowboy Club. The staff were nice enough, they just went very quick. You know, the waiting way too long when you just say you need a minute. They brought out little help which was a nice touch, but they were not good. It was basically a dollop of guacamole on a stale peice of toast. We ordered steaks which so charred they tasted burnt and it's like they forgot to season them at all, they were so bland! And that was for all of us at the table. We had ordered the blue cheese butter and they forgot it and brought it out later, same with another person in our party who had ordered sauteed mushrooms. The only thing we liked of our meal was the Mac and cheese side, it was delicious. Then they brought out a mini dessert. It was so tart that none of us could eat it. The reason this place is getting any stars at all is because of the Mac and cheese and the ambiance was nice. Otherwise, save your money!

Residents of Phoenix we visit Sedona frequently throughout the year & I have always wanted to try out Cowboy Club in uptown Sedona despite its mixed reviews.

Today we visited for lunch and we ordered the $37 elk chops, kids rib meal for $9, and wedge salad $13. The elk chops (very tasty) is a SMALL portion of two elk chops accompanied with seasonal vegetables which was sauteed brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potato. We asked for a little more demi-glaze sauce because there wasn't any on the plate just very little on the chops, dry. They brought out about a tablespoon worth of demi-glace sauce and surprised us on our check with the upcharge $2 on top of the $37 entree.talk about gouging! Ouch, waiter should have informed us. The kids meal comes with three ribs and they were quite tasty. My wedge salad was fresh & good drenched in blue cheese sauce (if you like that), nothing from the ordinary though.

Our waiter was very forgetful & he took away from our dining experience, especially when you have to REMIND him to please bring you a kids menu twice in addition to an extra plate, in addition bring out the replacement vegetables. HE WAS VERY FORGETFUL. I think the comment from the waiter is what put us off when he says the manager yelled at him about the sauce & made him charge us without ever informing us the upcharge. (According to the waiter)

Yeah no thank you, we definitely WON'T be back. I clearly get the impression that this restaurant is in it for the revolving first time tourist cash, and not so much the repeat customers. Did I feel like I got value for my money? I wouldn't say NO. Was the food tasty? Yes. Unfortunately there was a lack of professional service for this price point $$ which ruined our visit.

Great food and even better atmosphere. Customer service was great. I ordered a gluten-free hamburger. Waitress was very knowledgeable about food sensitivities. Will definitely go back.

Food was great, but decor is not what one expects if they want to experience western flair and decorations

Great atmosphere and service. Mixed reviews on the food. Brisket was almost entirely fat and the chicken was dry. Ribs were good and Cole slaw outstanding.

Everything about this place was amazing, only thing I wasn't satisfied with I couldn't eat more to try more selections from the menu. The bartenders made good cocktails. The food was flavorful and well portioned. Highly recommend.

We love this place! Dishes we love include: cactus fries, bison brochettes with peanut sauce, buffalo pot roast, strawberry spinach salad, bison chili, filet mignon. We visit each year, and always have a delicious meal. Tonight, our waitress was Jaimie. She was very sweet and chatted with us about some places to visit. Everyone is always friendly here.

Food was amazing! Best spinach and artichoke dip I ever had! My salmon was cooked just right and the mashed potatoes were super tasty as well! I will definitely be back in the future!

Great service and superb food.

The artichoke dip and flat bread was a great starter, and my Elk chops was cooked to perfection. The fish-and-chips was rounded by a great tartar sauce, and we asked for some more.

The quarter horse statue completed a great afternoon in Sedona

Felix served us well, and was very efficient during the busy time around 2: 30pm.

Awesome service. The burgers were huge and done perfectly. We also tried the Rattlesnake sausages. My ten year old ate all of them. I actually am going to order some to be shipped to me. Great family place and great food.

My wife and I ate here on our honeymoon one night - Food was good, she got some cactus fries and was very impressed. The prices are reasonable for the portion size they give you and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Worth the time and money.

Everything was Perfect! Amazing food! The server (Shannon) was very busy and yet she was very attentive! The food was just as good as you would get at a 4 star restaurant! The wait was more than worth it! We ordered the Artichoke Spinach dip appetizer, the pan seared salmon, the filet mignon, prickly pear mohito drinks and prickley pear margaritas. Sooooo good!

Pricey, if you are cost-conscious. A lunch for four adults and for kids in December cost us $150 before gratuity. The place has a fun story of a local cowboy riding his house into the place back in the Hollywood days of this town.

Butcher was good, chili was really good. The kitchen messed up on our order, but the staff made it right immediately.

We are there for our first time tonight. The food was amazing and the service was great. Half of us ate the elk and it was impressive.

This may look like a tourist trap, but the waitstaff are engaging and helpful, the food is excellent (I had the burger that is like a French Dip), and the atmosphere is inviting. A must do if you're spending time in Sedona.

We've been coming to Sedona for 15 years and never tried Cowboy Club Grill. Boy have we missed out- pun intended. My wife had the French or beef dip and loved it. The meat was savory and the bread was fresh and held up in the au jus. I had the ribeye which was cooked to perfection, tasty garlic mashed potatoes with a very yummy cooked broccoli. They serve alcohol and and have bar seating. I had a flavorful local favorite, Oak Creek Amber. Our server Joel was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive but not overly so. We for sure will be coming back. Likely even this trip.
