Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
18Tyler crushed it this evening, such a fantastic dinning experience he's got an awesome personality and is very good at his job! Thank you Tyler!
As always great food and good service.
We went there for a last minute Thanksgiving dinner and it was slammed packed. Good food. Little disappointed they ran out of sweet potatoes but that’s okay. We will be back
We had the best server and food today, server was Tiffany and said she has been there 23 years and was so cheery and on top of everything we asked for, the fish fry was great too and just fun ladies friend lunch, thanks Tiffany
New review for recent visit. I know there are shortage, but waiter said they didn't have regular hash browns (are there potato shortages) only hash brown casserole, which isn't very good. Waiter didn't ask or give us a chance to say we wanted toast instead of the biscuits. Wish we would've walked out when we were told they didn't have the items we wanted.
Cracker Barrel’s Sunday chicken dinner any day of the week is the way to go! Other people at our table enjoyed the Chef salad and grilled chicken. We think the chef salad with the sunday chicken on it would be scrumptious!
The attached shop is interesting. I wonder what the protocol is for their buyers choice of items. Sort of a country general store flair, with a tinge of I-like-that-but-it-might-be-grandma-like.
I'm a huge Cracker Barrel fan and we go whenever we are in town. This time the service was terrible, the food was warm at best. They didn't tell us about the many menu items that they were out of until well after we ordered.
We needed to ask our waitress for everything twice. Our food tasted old.
I had set a time through the website to eat Thanksgiving dinner for 2.
I got the text the most of Thanksgiving for 2pm.
We arrived fifteen minutes earlier like the sight says, she couldn't find us on the list, so she said we would have to wait.
What is the sense of having that system, if they are not going to honor it.
I don't like to see people being rude to their coworkers. Pretty sure the woman working at the hostess stand when I arrived was in some sort of managerial position (no name tag or uniform) but when she couldn't find my name in the list and another gal came to assist she held her open palm up to the gal (Amanda) and says in a dismissive way "EXCUSE ME". Also, the environment was ridiculously loud, but it was a Saturday morning. Food was mediocre at best.
Crackle barrel always brings back some of the best memories for my family and I from the food, to the gifts, to always have a great company and service. Our server did an excellent job and I appreciate the fact that she likes the maple bacon chicken as much as I.
Nothing except wonderful comfort food.country fried foods that make under your tongue water. And the country store always has a gem or two.
I understand that they are busy on Thanksgiving and apparently, the online ordering system was down so my husband and I went over to the restaurant (no big deal) and ordered 4 meals to go at the front counter. We were told that it would take 20 - 30 minutes and that they would call us on the intercom when it was ready and that they would put the meals on their pick up shelf. We shopped in their country store and spent over $100 (fun stuff). 30 minutes went by and I checked the shelf and it was not ready. Another 20 minutes later, no announcement or order on the shelf. I asked an employee right next to pick up shelf if she could check on our order. She said that the order was out back and I had to drive around. I said I was told that the order would be in the front. She said. “I don’t care. ” We drove around and the person there did not know where our order was. He finally found it and when I asked him how long it was there, he said he didn’t know. I live less than 5 minutes away from the Cracker Barrel. When we got home, the food was barely lukewarm and the gravy had congealed on the chicken fried steak and soaked into the mashed potatoes. Most disappointing meal ever. But at least they got the order right……. Sigh…….
The food was good but we had a big party and were told they can only put half the orders in at a time. Tienes out that's how the food came. We watched the others eat and then they waited for us to eat. Did not like that.
Service and quality has really gone down this last year. My rating has gone from 5 stars to 2. This morning we had a 30 minute wait to be seated. Then when our food came out it was either undercooked or straight cold. Manager blamed being understaffed. If they are so understaffed they shouldn't be serving so many people. Very disappointed.
Don't order curbside here. Our order was supposed to be ready over 30 minutes ago. Everyone understands things are taking longer than usual now, but if you say an order is going to be ready at a certain time, it should be. If it's going to take an hour, just say that. I've now called and gine inside and each time it's, "just a few more minutes, " but that clearly isn't the case.
Excellant fried chicken and I always order the turnip greens. Waiter was attentive. I found an item in the store and purchased it as a gift.
Make sure you check your food when ordering pickup. On 2 occasions I did not receive all my food. My last pickup order, I did not receive my bacon. How do you forget the meat in a meal. That’s my last time ordering from this establishment.
We are regulars here every Sunday for the pancakes with pecans
As a part of my cheat meal it’s mommas breakfast with cakes and fried apples every time like clock work
This place is going down hill which stinks because they used to have great service and good home cooked meals, however the last handful of times we ate there a food was not tasty, service was horrible, hostesses have zero customer service and the wait to get in is ridiculous! Tonight we ordered to go, we had one meal completely missing and another with the wrong sides. On a good note, the store is always filled with fun unique gifts.
