Amazing school and fantastic program! I had no previous audio experience before I came here but have always been passionate about music. I was able to really grasp the information they provided along with all the outside resources and certifications they provide as well. Awesome staff with years of experience and knowledge within the audio industry. A 9 month program that will get you ready in no time to get your life started in the audio industry!

I am Currently a student at CRAS it is a fun environment but the gear is in tough shape and certain aspects of the program are not focused on enough. Such as the s6 board and there is simply not enough tutoring for students with learning disabilities. They have other students higher in the program do that. The upside is it's a quick program everyone is like minded the staff is amazing most teachers are great to. The internship coordinators are great. It's a well rounded curriculum. You get to practice on the boards a lot and you can even book studios for free. And a big plus is that the school has a great reputation in the industry so being a Cras grad is like being a Harvard grad in the eyes of music studios. In addition to that Cras grads are always looking out for each other. Even though there are some less than desirable things about the school I think it's worth it's investment as you don't have go to school for 4 years somewhere else. The only other thing I wish they could provide is dorms but after all it isn't a University.

CRAS is the real deal in every aspect. It’s a school that helps teach students how to survive in an ever changing industry. The Tempe campus has a way about it that is hard to explain, but there’s a sense of family and camaraderie there that is hard to replicate. Going to CRAS was the best decision I could make for myself at the time and I haven’t regretted a single moment of it! Attended in 2022

Overall, I had a great experience at CRAS, it is though from the start to the end, but learned more than expected for the industry.

Would not recommend, first off let me say I completed the entire program as well as my 240 hour internship. With that out of the way I’d like to explain my 2 star rating. 1, Project staff was a complete and utter joke while I attended. Everyone was rude, always bothered, and constantly on edge.
This was furthermore manifested during my first week at CRAS when I accidentally stepped “to far” into the project staff’s room near the after hours entrance, he completely exploded and screamed that he was in charge and we had to respect him and the property or we would have “problems”.
I think that recounting speaks for itself. 2 YOU WILL DO EVERYTHING ON YOUR OWN pertaining to internships. Good luck even finding one that’s not a complete dead end waste of time. And if yours is a waste of time your advisor will be quick to blame you for not trying hard enough putting in the work etc. All in all, I wouldn’t attend unless you have a wealth of money and free time. Or if you are interested in audio engineering as a hobby.

Very good school. Well rounded. Great gear and location. You must work hard but the exprience of the instructors will pay off.

Denied me entry because I'm blind. Which is illegal. But they did it. I don't know how good the curriculum is, obviously, but any institution that is so openly anti-disability is a shameful shell of an educational institution in my opinion. Avoid them.
