I chose Crest Contracting Roofing through a recommendation from a family member and so happy to have taken her advice.

Not previously an owner of a home with a flat roof - three years now - I wasn't familiar with the process of repairs for leaks and cool coating in particular.

Crest Contracting Roofing is so fortunate to have Pete in their employ. He's a master and true professional and took those worries: read 'leaks' away.

Melisa who I spoke with and who set up the whole thing, also made it a pleasant and smooth experience from start to finish. Very professional.

I will most definitely recommend Crest Contracting Roofing to my family and friends and have the pleasure to 'pay forward' the good advice I received.

Now am looking forward to a few years "leak free". What a relief!

I hired them April of 2019 to replace a few facia boards, patch up where it needed to be patched on my roof and cleaned and resurfaced for $2,700 for my 1,440 sq ft home. Everything was fine until the end. I checked my own roof to see if the job was actually done and done well and it was not. It took 3 separate times for them to bring somone back to finish it and finish it well. Each time I checked it, until finally, they had their senior guy come out and do it properly. For something that was suppose to only take 3 days, the back and forth of scheduling, it took a month for the final finish of the job. When it came time to pay the other half of $2,700 I felt like a discount was definitely the right thing to do for dealing with a terrible crew to begin with and having my solar panels off for a month. I have since had 2 leaks from the roof since they finished the job. First one was fixed, still waiting on them to call me back to fix my current one. For a roofing job that ended up costing me $2,200 (plus the cost of having to take my solar panels off) I felt like I definitely over paid after looking at other estimates roofers gave me with the same 3 year warranty. The whole reason I went with them was because at the time they had really nice pictures of their work and a 4.8 rating. Hopefully they call me back soon and fix the roof that they already fixed before the next rain.

We bought a home that had the roof done 3 yrs ago with crest. It had a 5 yr warranty.
The roof has been leaking for months.
They are attempting to make amends

Currently roof is still leaking after they said the fixed it. Drywall is a mess

I refer Crest Contracting to all of my clients because they use the best quality, materials, are licensed & bonded, provide great customer service and stand behind all of their work. I’ve never been disappointed.

Crest Contracting Company are awesome! They Installed a new flat roof on my home. I use to have severe ponding water issues, but thanks to Crest Contracting, I no longer have to worry about my roof at all. I use to get so nervousness and worried every time it rain. I really loved doing business with this company. This company Really stands behind their written and verbal commitment, that means a lot to me. As a Realtor, I have dealt with many contractors over twenty years who are not responsible and do not stand behind their work. These people are committed to exceeding their clients expectations.

Thank you for everything,
Rachel D'Leon

After reading several other reviews I'm not even sure I had Crest Roofing company come out to my property because this doesn't seem like the same quality work others are getting. Had to have them come back to replace fascia board that was included in the quote. No call to schedule day and time just showed up and then said in broken English that it didn't look like it needed replaced. Had to borrow a ladder. What roofing company doesn't come with a ladder? Had to call the boss to confirm what needed done. Poor clean up skills. Just a quick sweep.nails all over the place. I can only imagine what else has been overlooked. Poor attention to detail. I would go with someone else if I could go back in time. Unable to upload pictures of "completed" work.

Excellent response time from the very beginning to the end of the project. A Crest representative inspected our entire roof and gave us a very thorough explanation of what was causing our leaks. My wife and I decided to go with them not only for our repairs, but also to change out our old clay tile to cement tile roof. We were updated every step of the way, never feeling left in the dark. The crew doing the work was polite and worked quickly. Great job, Great company! We would highly recommend Crest Roofing to others in need of tile roof repairs or replacement. On time, professional, pleasant, knowledgeable company that was easy to work with. Thank you. John & Rose

Beware, Crest Contracting (Roofing Division) is a scam. They are not a real roofing company. Go see for yourself, visit their address. There is no Crest Roofing at the address listed, only a RE MAX office. There is no roofing business yard.
If you are fool hardy enough to request a quote you will get one, but with considerable legal-ease boilerplate in it with enough flex that the price quoted for a job may only be the beginning bid. Estimates, by persons that have not come to your house, seem to be made by sticking their finger in the air and feeling what direction the wind blows. They ask for 1/2 the quote upfront, but who know if they will ever show up.
Make your life easier and stay away from this place.

Pros: Kind Working Crews, Bigger Company, Quality of Work
Cons: Speed, Customer Service, Communication, Price

I hesitated to write this review, because typically people only write reviews when there was an issue, but I feel Crest's reviews are a bit too rosey for the service I received.

I had my whole roof redone this time, and I've had Crest do small repairs in the past. Small jobs have been done very well, and the quality of work is good. They've always been responsive in the past, which made this expirience odd.

Response times were slow in general. We waited almost a month after paying half and when they told us the work would begin before even being contacted. Then the roofing guys took multiple weeks for a job that, I believe, should have been completed in a week, 2 weeks tops.

I was the one who had to point out missing work in the quote, which should have been examined before beginning work. The person on the phone was very pushy about payment, which I paid cash when appropriate. 1 day notice IS NOT enough time.

Price wise I believe they're a bit on the high side. Liability insurance was important to me, and I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I was willing to pay a bit more to work with someone I'd had good work done with before.

Most of the issues I faced were communication related, and the staff does always seem knowledgeable and competent about roofing things in particular. Overall, as long as my new roof holds up, I'd probably use Crest again because trustworthy contractors are so hard to find, but there is definite room for improvement.

Do NOT use this company! What a nightmare. They replaced my roof last November (2017) while I was out of town. They did not remove bad wood beneath the old shingles and just shingled over large tar lumps so the new roof has lumps everywhere. The roofers threw lit cigarettes on the ground - in November! We hadn't had rain for months. They used a roll-off I had on my property to dispose of the waste. They threw concrete bags I had in my wheelbarrow on to the ground and broke the bags so they could use my wheelbarrow - although I had another wheelbarrow they could have used that was empty. I guess it was too much trouble to go to the back yard and use the empty wheelbarrow. When I complained about the lumps beneath my new shingles, their inspector came by and told me I was an idiot and that's the way it's done. Now we've had our first rain and guess what? The roof leaks. It leaked into the utility room onto my brand new AC unit. These people are disgusting. Biggest mistake I every made in hiring a 'licensed' contractor.
UPDATE!
Crest replied to my review and I must say that they have a very selective memory. I expressed concerns immediately but Crest convinced me that it's very NORMAL to have huge tar lumps under the shingles. In their reply they claim we've had rain 15 times since the installation last November? Are you kidding? Where I live I had a small amount of rain in February and did not observe the leaks at that time. The first REAL rain I've had since last November was on June 16 and my waterheater room was flooded. On June 21, I learned that Crest failed to seal any of the seven vents on the roof, so it is likely they are all leaking but the leaks would be inside the wall where I won't discover them until they become even worse. They claim that the GAF rep came out and inspected my house but they have repeatedly refused my requests to provide me with the name and number of the GAF rep. Getting on the roof is difficult for me. I hired a licensed contractor - a company that appeared to be good quality because I need to TRUST the people who do work like this. Crest was not the cheapest estimate I had. I wanted the job done right so I paid more. I could provide more details. I've filed a complaint with BBB and am filing a complaint with the ROC. All Crest has done is to make excuses for the bad job and when they are out of business in 5 years and I need to sell the house, I will be stuck with the cost of their bad job.
By the way. Crest is asking if I had a new AC installed because they KNOW I had a new AC installed because I am upset that the leak dripped on my new HVAC system inside the house. It was the HVAC installer who inspected the roof and told me that Crest failed to seal any of the vents.

As a Realtor, it's important to have industry partners who understand the needs of buyer and sellers. Crest has really come through for our clients on more than one occasion.

Crest roofing is amazing! I'm a realtor & my seller was having some leaks. Solor panels are on the roof yet solor claimed they caused no roof damage. Crest got out there & Joe was on the roof taking pictures & went up in the attic doing video documentation. Solar company had destroyed shingles.plus in the attic Joe found the following.on the side where solor panels were, there were leak stains. On the side of the roof without solor panels there were no water stains. Crest roofing is honest & will tell you like it is. They provided pictures & videos to support what was really happening with the roof! Crest roofing will now be my go too roofing company!

I'm a local realtor and I've done lots of business with crest. Their work is always great and always done in a timely matter. Crest roofing has got me and clients out of bind and I was able to get the deal done. I will always recommend anyone to use them both as a professional or for a personal job!

Great Company to work with. Very helpful with explaining the roof repairs for our understanding. Was willing to come out a second time for a quote when we had additional questions. Would recommend to other families and companies. Great communication as well.

We had Crest Contracting do some repairs on our roof. They kept in contact with us and made sure we were happy with the job.

"We had to get a complete re roof done in December because of multiple leaks. The job ended up costing more than the original bid because of wood that needed to be replaced. Thankfully Crest was willing to work with us on payment for the additional wood. They did a final walkthrough with us after the job was complete and a gave us a follow up call a week later. I will recommend Crest to all of my friends and neighbors. "

Incompetence Reigns! I would give them a zero if I could - I have been trying to get a quote for some work since December! First quote when it finally came was completely unclear as to whether they were going to install concrete or pavers for the driveway, they omitted the gate and fence work which was more important than the driveway. I tried contacting them several times responses back were slow if at all. Finally resorted to looking up another Contractor on HomeAdvisor - got a site visit and completed quote in 4 days (probably would have been sooner but the weekend came.)
