Culinary Dropout reviews
33We had made a reservation using Open table and when I called the restaurant to confirm the reservation we were not asked if we wished to be seated inside or outside. After walking 8 blocks through the rain we arrived to find the restaurant mostly empty (about 30% tables full). The hostess brought us outside to the patio and I requested an inside table as our legs were wet from the walk. The hostess was emphatic that we could not get a seat inside, understandable if they were busy, but at 30% capacity good customer service would have seated us inside. Sorry, cannot comment on the food just the poor hospitality as we left back into the rain
The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. However I was completely turned off when I saw all of the waitress with their hair down. They all had long hair but I could see it touching the food. The food was over cooked and under seasoned. I was really excited to try this place because I've heard amazing things about them but was sadly disappointed I will most likely not be back.
This place is perfect. They are best used as a party spot for large groups. This is a posh spot to play or sit and relax. They have a stage and table tennis and other games. The ambience is unreal and the service is quick and friendly
Great food but a bit noisy. Hard to carry on a conversation with 7 people at the table. Good service.
Great place to dine with friends or that someone special. The food is amazing and the service is even better. I had the salmon and my girlfriend had the butternut squash ravioli and both were amazing. I’m a meat eater, but I would definitely have the butternut squash with chicken on the side, which was offered by our amazing waiter. That was our second time going to this establishment and once again, they did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
Food was just alright, service was pretty good. The chips were overcooked and under seasoned. The pretzel rolls and cheese dip were the best part, but the rolls are VERY yeasty so you really can't eat them without the dip.
Had a company lunch here so didn't have to pay or wait on table, but wouldn't go back on my own.
This place was so much fun! The atmosphere of the whole area was just awesome. The crowd is young but not too young where it was annoying. The bar was fun to sit at and the service was good. The food was excellent. We had the nachos to start and they were piled high with pulled pork! And the fried chicken is fried in some sort of honey sauce and it was so flavorful! We will for sure be back!
My boss took our office out for a holiday lunch and I was very excited to try this place out. I had heard great things. I was not disappointed. The food was great, service was great, and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend the pretzel bites. Also the nachos.
Great beer, WONDERFUL and helpful staff. Beautiful interior. Food was very good. Definitely will go back.
Really enjoyed this place. I love the inside architecture and acoustics. The food is delicious and the waitresses are wonderful.
Loved the roomy space and our meals were tasty. Only problem was our appetizer was served with our meal. However this was righted with an apology and a deduction from our check. Looking forward to our next visit.
Love this place! Great food and atmosphere! Love hanging out by the fire pits. The Korean Brussels Sprouts and the Pretzel Bites with Cheese Fondue are both amazing! The small plates are perfect if you just want to nibble a little, but the great thing is you can order a variety if you're hungry and try several things on the menu for a great price. Good variety of craft beer, as well.
This place is always a positive experience. Every meal is always delicious with unique and fun flavors. I love the Ahi Salad and the turkey pastrami but I doubt you can go wrong with anything on this menu. The one and only complaint is that parking is 100%, always awful. There's never a good time or place to park and I end up parking a block away. I recommend showing up early because you'll be walking.
Food is good but can take a while to come out because it's so busy and crowded. It's also very loud anywhere.
Very trendy, fun, great service, food was pretty good. My expectations for the food were pretty high because I had heard it was great. The overall experience however was fantastic.
Trendy restaurant with delicious food!
There’s entertainment for the whole family: ping pong and cornhole
Nice place for lunch or dinner and ideal for larger parties
Always a fun place to eat. Brought family from out of state this time and they were blown away. The pretzel bites were delicious. Cocktails and service were also top notch. The Smashed Irishman was a great surprise. Wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it grows on ya! Will be back again soon with more converts.
JJ and Carly were awesome. Excellent service and fabulous personalities. Thank you for a fun pre game visit! ️️
Highly highly overrated! They barely have a menu when u go in, the drinks are limited! The service is slow and our waitress was rude!
Really cool place but we were told our wait for a table would be 90 minutes or longer. A person in our party went to some app and reserved seating for 8 and we were at our table in 10 minutes. Go figure.
