Drug Store CVS reviews
18It’s been frustrating that the pharmacy’s hours are so variable from the CVS hours. I’ve shown up when CVS is open and pharmacy is not twice and both times I’ve transferred the prescriptions to a different location. The one time that I arrived when the pharmacy was open I was told that my prescription (that I had been notified was ready for pick-up) would be a few more hours…I returned home and got a second notification that the prescription was ready 15 minutes later. I would’ve preferred to wait rather than making a second trip. On a positive note they do have super convenient parking and there’s a cute coffee shop across the street — it helps make the trip feel worth it
Pharmacist and associates were very helpful knowledgeable. They all did a great job and listening to our concerns and helping us. Store as well stocked and very clean.
Have never once been to this CVS when there weren’t 10 people in line at the pharmacy. No matter the time of day or week. One person working. Slowly. Then each person who checks out needs at least 5 minutes because the workers are poorly trained— the management at this store is absolutely incompetent and inefficient. With this many customers and demand, there is NO reason they cannot hire enough workers and create better practices to improve customer experience and care.
My husband and I are from CA and he had an emergency tooth infection happen and the antibiotics the hospital prescribed where supposed to be paid for by our insurance but they weren't and we had no money at all the pharmacist somehow paid the 84 bucks for us and gave my husband his much need antibiotics wish I caught her name because she was amazing without her help my husband would have been in an awful way.
Obviously there is a huge retiree community in Verrado. Many of the retirees depend on prescription medications. Therefore there’s always a long waiting line. Early in the morning to closing time.
This is going to sound crazy, but one of the considerations for us moving to Verrado was to be close to this CVS.
We have a child with complex medical needs, and I wanted a "small pharmacy" with a consistent PharmD on staff that would get to know our child's needs over time and be able to consult with us on medications without us having to run down the full medical history each time.
Dr. Caryn is ALWAYS there for me. She ensures my daughter's rare medications are always in stock ahead of when the refills are due. She helps me check for contraindications between OTC & Rx meds. She helps me hack at home compounding of meds into enteral compatible suspensions. And she cares.
This CVS, and Dr. Caryn specifically, are as close to the old "family pharmacy" experience from the good old days. The only thing missing is the soda counter, but I use my Extra Care bucks to buy treats for myself that I can eat before I make it home so I don't have to share!
The pharmacy here is one of the best. They have some of the friendliest people working there. They also have bilingual employees which is extremely helpful as well. They are also extremely patient when it comes to hard customers.
It’s Christmas Day, I have no family here and live alone. I politely asked Denise if the status of the covid tests have been updated or if the sign was indeed correct. She said out of stock. Cool, no problem. I advised her that I was having symptoms as she checked me out as I needed to purchase some electrolytes and she replied with, “well then you shouldn’t be out”. Yeah, ok Denise. Thanks for stating the obvious, u think I want to be out feeling like garbage? No, no I don’t Denise. If I had anyone to purchase this dumb test I wouldn’t be out of bed. I hope you have a spectacular Christmas Denise. While you are enjoying your Christmas evening off you should contemplate looking for a new job because I am not sure u truly understand your job duties as I don’t believe making people feel like hot garbage on Christmas Day is one of them.
Everyone at the pharmacy is so kind and welcoming. They always make sure to answer any questions regarding prescriptions and they enjoy helping when it ‘s needed especially with GoodRX coupons. The techs at pickup always have a smile and always offer consults from the pharmacist which is extremely helpful. One of the pharmacists there, (Caryn) is one of the nicest people and energetic despite having such a stressful job. I definitely recommend going there to pick up medications.
I work in pharmacy at a hospital and it’s not hard to enter a good rx code for a prescription. I was told to step aside for 10 minutes while the enter the good rx. It only takes like 10 seconds. Also the attitude of the employees at the pharmacy reg needs to be checked. This lady was rude and acted like I made her life so much harder and that I was an inconvenience. I am transferring my prescriptions and leaving CVS. I am done!
I swear these people have the brain of a hamster, not only were they disrespectful, they took forever to fill my prescription.
I absolutely love the pharmacy here. Pharmacist I believe his name is Brandon goes above and beyond. He takes the time to know his clients.
He is a real asset to CVS
Nice store and very convenient location for local verradonians couldnt ask for more. The pharmacist there she was amazing at helping me with my insanely inflamed hemorrhoids being very detailed that the prescription repository wasn't a oral route medication potentially saving my Life. 2 weeks ago my wife is quite the prankster Farted on my pillow as a April fool's joke so I found my self back getting some eye drops the pharmacist couldn't of been any more help full or understanding she showed me the right drops and I have a new memory foam antimicrobial pillow that she recommended. Overall great experience would recommend to friends and family. Alot of low star. Reviews are old and doesn't represent current pharmacy operations.
This store is awesome… It really has that small town feel, the workers are friendly the pharmacy is great… I love the store and all the people that work there
I have had to call ahead just to bring the prescription filling process the last two times I had a prescription. Horrible wait times.
Best customer service! Thanks to Karen in the pharmacy for going WAY above and beyond to get my medication.
Appreciate it, thank you so very much.
I’m writing this review for a friend, but she’s been waiting for her prescription for 2 days, saying it’s still in progress and she’s been needing this medication for allergies. And she had to drive to the store to actually get them to make the prescription. That’s just terrible service, they should’ve had it done within those 2 days.
Pharmacy personnel are so rude except for one young lady. Pharmacy service is so bad. No stars is more accurate!
