What a beautiful, cozy restaurant. We loved the traditional style - fine dining, but not pretentious. The meal was excellent. We went with the pre fixe menu with the wine pairing, and what a great choice that was. The pairings were probably the most thoughtful we have experienced. We will definitely visit again when we’re next in Sedona. Only took the one picture of dessert, as I’m not big on photographing my meals. The dessert was just too pretty not to document.

I ordered an app & salad & it was incredible flavourful, cozy & very filling. The affinato was smoky, salty and savoury. The rucola was light & flavourful.
Ken was an amazing part of my experience and very attentive.
I’m going back tomorrow to try the arancini and hopefully a dessert. My favourite dining experience in Sedona yet.

What an amazing dining experience.again! (This was our second time eating at Dahl & DeLuca) and it did not disappoint!

We were greeted by Derrick, who was our server for the evening. Derrick was a true gentleman, holding out my chair for me and my husband. Derrick was friendly, knowledgeable on the entire menu and despite having 6 tables to serve, he didn't miss a beat! Derrick was attentive, quick with spacing out the food we ordered and such a delight! He acknowledged our anniversary and even placed rose petals on the table for us.such a nice touch!

We enjoyed the calamari as an appetizer. Generous portion and it came out hot (temperature-wise), which my husband loved.and those cooked edible lemon wedges.outstanding! We spilt the Caesar salad, which was delicious too. The main courses were a Seafood special, with champagne lemon sauce. Generous portions of seafood.large shrimp, lobster claws, scallops, mussels, and clams with homemade pasta. The best I ever had! My husband enjoyed the eggplant parm with spaghetti and said the eggplant was the best he ever had too.and he is 100% Italian so this is a huge compliment to Chef Dahl.

To finish our evening, Derrick brought us a complimentary anniversary dessert to share - Spumoni covered in a chocolate shell. We left Dahl and Deluca with full bellies and extremely happy. We are still talking about our dining experience!

Thank you Chef Dahl for your attention to details and fabulous Italian food. Whenever we visit Sedona, we will most certainly be back!

We went here for Christmas Eve and it was very nice. Service was excellent. Old school. The food was very good and plentiful. I would say the reason it did not get 4 stars on food was that it was not inspirational in flavor. Very much what you expect.

My boyfriend and i absolutely amazed at this restaurant, so beautiful and a cozy feeling. The service really sweet and patient, the food amazing portion, very filling and tasted really good:) Definitely gave our server a big tip for showing great kindness!

First visit to Sedona and we were not disappointed. We decided to drive up to this restaurant hoping for a table as OpenTable never had an available time for us when we wanted to dine. The Host graciously sat our table for four. Evan was an informative and fantastic waiter. Food was very good and portions were adequate…only downside was the lighting where we were sat was very poor. All the guests seated in the middle of the restaurant near the entrance had to use their phones for lighting to see the menu. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Seriously disappointed in our experience with this restaurant. Everything started off great, we decided to splurge and do the 5 course meal with wine pairings to top off our Sedona vacation. The 1st and second course started off great, wonderful service & food. It all went downhill from there. A celebrity was seated next to us and all attention went on him and his companion. The owners fawned over them and offered them special chef created options. Then we waited for over an hour after our 2nd course and was told the chef walked out. Miraculously the celebrity’s meal was not delayed. We finally received our 3rd course and by this point we had been there over 2.5 hours and were ready to call it a night. We were not offered a discount and were charged for 2 courses and wine pairings we didn’t receive. I do feel this could have been handled in a much better manner and guests should be treated all the sane regardless of celebrity status. Highly disappointing way to end our trip. Our server, Mauricio was awesome and it wasn’t his fault that we had this subpar experience.

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation. Trevor greeted us at the door. Made 2 seats available at hightop in bar. Perfect. Ben the bartender waited on us and was awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, fun and patient. Lance, I assume a busboy/barback, was efficient, friendly, and accommodating, great perso ality. The food was extremely good and Ben complimented on Chef Alana and her passion and quality in providing excellent entrees, great sauces and pasta. Key Lime dessert fabulous. My favorite. Would highly recommend this restaurant but make a reservation. We got lucky.

Went in without reservations… was told they were sold out for the night. My friend asked if they had seating at the bar. We were told they did not… shortly after a woman after us said she did not have reservations and she was told their next available time was at 9 at the bar. Just perplexed as to why we weren’t told that and wanted people to be informed.

My Husband and I come here everytime we're in Sedona, along with any Lisa Dahl's restaurants. This Restaurant however is the best run, and best service. The food is always fabulous from start to finish. The atmosphere is lovely, It made for a perfect night out.

Incredible experience all around. Best food we’ve had on our trip by far. Our server Derek was great and his recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend you eat here.

For the quality and price it was too full of itself. The vibe was like boomer fancy. The service was great but when you consider the actual food just seemed like we overpaid. Do yourself a favor and skip fancy when you’re in AZ.

Nice place and our server was very good. My rack of lamb was over cooked. The wine on the wine list showed a 2019 but the bottle brought to the table was a 2021. The server did let me know prior to opening it. But to me I think the wine list should reflect what you actually have. Not a good experience for our last night in Sedona.

The food was excellent, the service was great. Unfortunately, we ate on the patio, which is in the front, so the traffic noise is pretty loud. Still would recommend.

Food is regular Italian food you can get anywhere. Atmosphere makes the food seem better than it is. Service was great.

My husband and I arrived here for dinner after an attempt to dine at another restaurant group establishment that wasn’t cutting it for our 10 year anniversary dinner. So while being let down at the first establishment (not a Dahl restaurant) we called this place and they told us to come right over, even though they were quite busy.

As soon as we arrived letting them know that we had called, all staff came forward to greet us and swept the way as they escorted us to our seats. Our greeter placed fresh rose petals on our table, gave us a wink, and told us to prepare for a stellar experience. Our waiter arrived, gave us suggestions and tended to our every question without hesitation.

Our meals were perfection, especially the fresh made pasta! We ended with a beautiful anniversary ice cream cake that hit the spot after such a decadent meal (courtesy of the staff for our special day).

As we returned to our car, we couldn’t help to giggle how the Dahl restaurant group saved our evening yet again! No doubt the attention to detail and the level of service from their restaurants are well above the rest - even those we experience in our own home town. A huge thank you to our patient waiter and the staff all around for sweeping us off our feet to make our special day a special experience!

Exquisite food and service with a very romantic but comfortable ambiance. Our waiter, Lu, provided us with a truly memorable experience. Look forward to returning next time we're back in Sedona!

Dinner with Mrs. V. A few weeks ago, I made a reservation online using OpenTable for this extraordinary restaurant owned by executive chef, Lisa Dahl. I had requested a very romantic table to celebrate Frannie’s AZ board certification, and a very special upcoming birthday (tomorrow). When we arrived we were greeted by the assistant GM, Trevor. Trevor advised us that they had arranged for us to be seated at the “Alcove” which is essentially an enclosed private VIP table. Talk about wow factor. Shortly after we were greeted by Benjamin our waiter, who was very friendly engaging and knowledgeable. Mrs. V.ordered Capresse D’amore (not pictured) as a a starter, which was refreshing and delicious. I ordered Calamari Fricti, (not pictured) which was fresh, lightly breaded served with an amazing lemon-caper aioli. Frannie ordered Pollo Al Rosmarino, and I ordered Vitello Piccata as our entrees. Both dishes were perfectly cooked. We ordered a slice of Sogno Di Choccolato cake with salted caramel gelato for dessert to share. When Benjamin brought our dessert, he also presented Frannie with a chocolate covered Spumante dish with Happy Birthday in chocolate paired with a glass of Tobin James Zinfandel Late Harvest Liquid Love dessert wine which we deeply appreciated. J. C.the GM introduced himself table side at which time he stated that he had read my notes on my OpenTable reservation, and wanted to know if this table had met our expectations. We couldn’t possibly thank J. C.and his staff enough for making tonight one of the best and most memorable dining experiences of our lives.

Dahl and Di Luca is an absolute delight. We had a reservation after 8 o'clock, and had a nice, intimate corner to ourselves. The atmosphere and music both perfectly set the tone to enjoy a wonderful meal.

I enjoyed the rucola salad and the rustica. The garganelli pasta is cooked to perfection, excellently complimenting the rich truffle sauce.

We finished our meal with the spumoni, and left completely satisfied. Highly recommended for a date in Sedona!
