Dao Kitchen reviews
18 I could eat the Lo Mein from Dao Kitchen every. Single. Day. The beef was incredibly tender and I added vegetables with were cooked to perfection.
Our food took a little while to come out and they brought free cream cheese puffs to hold us over, which was thoughtful and much appreciated. The hot and sour soup was one of the best I've had and kept us patient till the main courses came out. Which were seriously worth the wait!
Service is nice and friendly, and the music they play makes you feel like you're at a spa. I was relaxed, happy, full and tired by the end of dinner.
Highly recommend this place!
I’m not one to complain, and I love love love this place. But seeing a huge caterpillar in our food… make sure you check your food
This place is amazing! The staff is super nice and always gives my kids fruit snacks. It's so heartwarming to see how much they care. The food is always hot and fresh, and they even have gluten-free options for my in-laws. Its always a tradition for us to come on Christmas Day, since they’re open.
They are always so friendly every time we come in! We usually get to go, but have dined in a few times. The wonton chips are the best! Our go to’s are the honey walnut shrimp, teriyaki chicken & general Tso’s!
We came in at 9: 00pm on a Sunday-they close at 9: 30pm. We were greeted with smiles…. I had snow Pea Pork (bbq pork with pea pod) it was fresh hot and delicious! Best Asian food in Phoenix!
Always Always Always great food, amazing hot and sour soup, delicious orange chicken and other dishes, good price and nice people.
We ordered take out from Dao Kitchen from the lunch specials menu. The orange chicken was very good and it had a lot of sauce on it. It came with rice, a spring roll and and a crab puff. The black pepper fish was also very good. Price was very reasonable too. Definitely will be back!
It's the only place I have found in 25+ years here in AZ that can make a really good Chow Mein.
It was so GOOD! I used to have a favor place in Los Angeles called Kwon’s that I would go to for Lo Mein all the time. I now have a new favorite place. I got their House Lo Mein and it did NOT disappoint. Plus our waitress was super nice and helpful and the food come out fresh and hot. It was really that good!
Fantastic! Best service around. Try the shrimp. They're really big. I wish the chairs were a little more comfortable
My new favorite chinese take-out place! Super convenient online ordering. Food was high quality and delicious at a great price point that’s hard to find nowadays. Best lettuce wraps I’ve ever had! Fried spring rolls are also spot on. Not to mention staff was super kind. My new go-to!
We have been in for lunch on Saturdays and it’s been awesome. The lunch special is a great value and consistently tasty. We’ve tried the sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, and teriyaki chicken; all delicious!
Clean, beautiful decor. Our meals were so tasty and fast service. The prices are reasonable for the portion size. We even took home leftovers for lunch. We had fried Rice and Mongolian Beef.
Simple little place food is usually fresh and tasty, unfortunately the price seems to keep going up but then so does every Asian place these days.
Compared to other Asian restaurants in the area, the food at this establishment surpasses expectations. The pleasant atmosphere and good service contribute to an enjoyable dining experience. However, I do recall one of the older servers struggling with English communication, which could be an area for improvement.
While the prices may be slightly higher than average for Asian cuisine, I believe the quality of the food justifies the cost.
Best Chinese I ever had.
I’m a big Chinese food fan but this restaurant is the best in taste and price.
We looked online at old lunch hours but they still honored it for us. Prices also increased from the one online. The inside looked nice but it was awkwardly silent in there (no music and only 1 other couple) and can see/hear the employee watching videos on his phone. Overall, the price is good. My favorite thing was the egg drop soup 10/10 but the rest of the food was ok. Fried rice wasn’t the type I was expecting either.
We always order take out from Doa Kitchen and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, generous portions and quickly made. We enjoyed dining there the other night, everything was delicious and the staff was very kind. We love having Doa Kitchen close by for those take out nights.
