Dave & Buster's reviews
34 This place has gone downhill since it first opened at Westgate. The prices have increased, and the menu has decreased (although this may just be cost cutting due to COVID, I'm not sure), not to mention the prices being charged for menu items are more on the receipt than the menu shows. Not a huge amount, 50 cents more, but they should fix the menu given it appears to be printed in house.
My biggest problem is the lack of any awareness or enforcement of masks or social distancing. The bartenders, including managers, have their masks down around their necks or below their noses most of the time, and only seem to put them on when preparing drinks. They don't even have them on correctly when they are speaking directly to you. Additionally even though they have sectioned off the bar to areas you can sit and be socially distanced, there is zero enforcement or monitoring. We went there last night and chose an area that had no other patrons around and was between two "walk up" only service areas. Not only did those areas quickly become swamped with other customers just standing there drinking instead of moving on with their drinks, customers were moving chairs over to that area and sitting down and were now no more than 2-3 feet from us. We moved a few more feet over to avoid this, but the bartenders and managers don't even seem to care. And this was not a small group, this was 6-7 people.
I also saw very little in the way of cleaning up games, especially ones that require a lot of touching. You guys need to step up your game. Literally.
Very busy.long wait to get seated.long wait to order.long wait for food then utencils. Waiter brought wrong drink and not all drinks as my nephews waited extra 10 min for their drinks. Food ok, my nephew shared he could make his own food at home with more flavor.
The games were amazing I had to come back and the drinks are so good but the food is trash the first time I asked for well done steak I got medium well and the second time I ordered an all American burger and got a char burger on hard bread I bit it and it cut the roof of my mouth
Very crowded, which is to be expected on a weekend. Checked in at the door to be seated for dinner and the wait was an hour. After an hour we checked with the staff and they said it would be another hour. There were still 13 people ahead of us. At that point we just found an open table and seated ourselves. When we finished our dinner we received a text saying our table was ready. Seating staff didn't seem very organized but the waitress and bartenders were on top of things.
Took my kids last night and had an amazing time. It was good to be able to go to a safe friendly environment with my kids during these tough times.
Enjoyed some philly cheese steak sliders that came with chicken tenders and fries that my kid enjoyed and shared some cheese curds to get two play cards. Make sure to order sauteed onions and peppers for the sliders.
I was feeling sick the other night on my birthday and I had to sit down. And I quickly had an employee come to me and say I can't sit there it's reserved for a private gathering very rudely. That was my 1st and last time there.
I waited for our 2nd visit to see if it's going to be different from the 1st one before I write a review. Nope the same.service sucks. We ordered something off the Eat and Play combo menu. But they almost didn't give it to is because the waitress didn't come to our table little after 5. But i dead looked at the waitress said we were sitting here for 15mins. So yea.had to throw that in her face
A follow up to a 1 star review 2 months ago when they were probably the worst restaurant for vegan options. Well welcome to 2019 Dave and Busters! And welcome all plant protein based impossible burger! That's some nice work! A little salty but that's easy to fix!
Longest wait ever when you are at a tablebooth. It took like 20-25 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge you sitting down with your family at the booth. They are just talking and laughing by the cash register with no one directing them.like they need to be told what to do. Poor management and service overall.
Great new place. Traditional D&B's but with an upscale compact twist. A little small than the other D&B's but they made it work. Always good food and fun games, friendly staff and now finally in Westgate next to AMC theaters.
Worst dinner out in a long time. Plate burning hot, food just warm. Had to ask for utensils, napkins and refills. Order 1 beer, got 2. Asked server to make sure only one was on bill. Bill came two beers on bill. Oh yeah and 30 minute wait for food after ordering.
Had a great time playing games. The games are a little pricey. Food was good, entrees are big enough to share. There is a wide variety to choose from, so everyone will be happy.
Checked out D&B's while on vacation. First time I've ever been. We had pretty good food, played a bunch of games. (90% are "ticket" based games). Had fun, only negative is I walked out about 140$ lighter in my wallet.
Let me start by saying that this was an amazing experience. But I want to take time to give thanks to Josh Clark. It was a busy day, the store was full and people everywhere. This happened to be my sons Bday. When we got there Josh took the reigns, found a table, had it cleaned and on our way to fun. The food was great the service was amazing, but it would not have happened with out Josh help. People like him, are the employees, that folks like myself wish we had on our team.
This is your typical "games for the kids and bar for the adults" kind of place. The entire building is unbelievably noisy. Food at the restaurant/bar area is acceptable, but pricey. The games themselves are not kept up well, and are not at all clean. I usually spend around $20.00 for a couple of hours of play for one child. It's okay for once in a while. December 2018 UPDATE: . New games have been installed. The upgrade is much nicer.
I'd have to say at 6pm on a Saturday evening when you bring the kids to the restaurant you're really not hoping for UFC fights with the announcers telling your five year old why there's so much blood, not a good idea.
I'll never go again.
Service was wonderful, our server Kaleigh was very attentive even though you could tell she was extremely busy, and her co-workers jumped in to help bring out our food. Love the teamwork! The place was packed that day so the kitchen was pretty backed up which made our food take awhile but it was brought out piping hot and delicious! We ended up skipping the games because it was so busy, but we will be back!
Really good food and environment! We went for new year's Eve and they turned the big screens on to count down. Will return some other time as my daughter had a lot of fun at the arcades.
Service is a little slow also had ran out of my first order. We shall see how the food is here soon but service is a little spotty aka slow.
