Davis Pediatric Dentistry reviews
7The dentists at Davis have seen my daughter since she was a baby. I appreciate their openness in discussing alternate treatment options as well as their conservative approach to children's dental work. I felt silly driving 4 hours for a second opinion when our local dentist recommended two caps with conscious sedation, but it was well worth the trip to be told that it is safe to watch and wait, that my little girl doesn't need to go through all that right now. <3
Very nice staff, fun for kids (has games and a big house to play in). Absolutely recommended!
We love this place they are amazing and make my girls feel safe and they are so sweet and understanding!
The pros are that the location was very clean and the doctor seemed knowledgeable for the little time that we saw her and the scheduling staff for the main dentistry was very knowledgeable and polite.
What is going To keep us from coming back is that we had an 8: 00 a.m. Appointment and mind you they open at 7: 30 and we had to wait more than 20 minutes to just walk to the back.during covid I am surprised that they were double booking and running late 30 min into the day. Well why we were waiting, 15 min past our appt some staff walks in. Turns out it was our tech. The front staff almost made me fill out the new pt paperwork again, I had to tell them I had already done it. They checked but never told me we were ok. In fact after I said that they never said one word to me. It would have been nice to have an apology for their staff not being at work on time. If I make sure I get there 15 min early esp w covid checks, I would like the same respect from the brand new techs.
We walk in, there are two young techs. The one doing the cleaning on my two year old seemed brand new. Neither felt like they actually knew how to work w a two year old. They told me at first to sit in a separate chair off to the side so they could lay her back. It's her first time no way she would allow that. The techs didnt introduce themselves, tell me what they were going to do nor did they actually look at my daughters teeth.with kids you have to warm them up and they didnt even do that. This is a pediatric place right? To kill time while we waited for the dr to enter they pulled up this ppt that was geared for newborns and new parents. My daughter was getting restless and I was too. It was so impersonal and clearly 90% of that ppt was not applicable to me.
The dr. Finally came in and was nice and checked her teeth but really nothing any dentist would say.
For all the rave about this place i was underwhelmed. I'll be taking her to another place.
Honestly I would give this place 0 stars if possible. They are horrible and very unorganized and they do not care. My daughter has been rescheduled several times for cavity treatment and she is in pain. This company will not ever get my bussiness or anyone I know.
We had our first appointment here today and were very impressed! They seem to take great precaution with COVID concerns. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Sophia took her time with my very nervous daughter. Overall a great experience, we look forward to returning for our next appointment!
