Dermatology for Animals - Tucson

The WHOLE team at Dermatology 4 Animals is phenomenal! They communicate well and get right back to you if you have to leave a message. They also reply VERY quickly through email as well. My poor dog has them stumped a bit but we are working through that and they are SOOOO darn good with him. I love this office (Tucson). I can't say enough about them.

This is my go-to for skin and infection and allergy needs for my cats - I suggest them to others to. It's a little more for the appointment, but I spent hundreds of dollars for misdiagnosis for months before dermatology diagnosed my cats in one appointment. They were also able to do surgery on my cat's ear tumor and provide a lot of peace of mind. I got my diagnosis in Flagstaff Dermatology for Animals, the surgery in Phoenix, and follow-up care in Tucson as I was moving around, I really appreciated the accommodation.

I've been taking my dog there for over six years now. They basically saved his life. When his regular vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with him, we got referred to Dermatology 4 Animals. It took a while to pinpoint the cause, and then even longer to nail down the type and balance of medications. But once they figured it out, he's been like a new dog ever since! The doctors and staff are extremely caring and friendly. Highly recommended!

If your dog has food allergies or environmental allergies, Dr. Charbonneau is the absolute expert. While expensive for us and our baby ArteBlue, I know we will see results from the best in town. So worth it! We were so sad seeing him suffer from chronic ear infections and we are now feeling hopeful thanks to Dr. C and his caring team. More to come.

Dr. Frost has been so wonderful to work with! After Trixee suffered from an anaphylaxis reaction, Dr. Hess and Dr. Frost have been working with us to figure this out! Cate has been so helpful also. Reception is great. I have always received kind, caring service here! Thank you!

DFA has been very helpful for clearing up the skin condition of my German shepherd. The staff is very nice and helpful with visits and call backs I suggest to them friends and family. They have a great urgent care if you need a vet asap. Thanks again, Baby And Taretha love to visit.

I love D4A! The doctors are wonderful and knowledgeable, Shell is the only receptionist and she does a phenomenal job with scheduling and call backs, and the technicians are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Your pets are in good hands here!

If I could leave a zero star, I would. I was recommended to them by my pet's veterinarian, however, I would highly suggest contacting another company. Upon my first call I received their voicemail which said please leave a message but don't expect to get a call back for 48-72 hours. Fine. Left my message for a return call and waited exactly one WEEK and called again, only to receive the same voicemail. Left a message and waited another week and decided to leave this review. I wish I hadn't wasted two weeks that I could have gotten on another wait list. Looking at the last few reviews this has been an ongoing issue for 5 months, get your office in order! And please don't patronize me like you have the last reviews by saying if this is urgent to contact her vet.do you think people start their journey with a specialist?

I would love to give a fair review but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll have the opportunity to rate their services since I can’t get through to anyone. I’ve been calling every few days for the last several weeks to try to make an appointment. No one picks up, it’s straight to voicemail. I’ve left several voicemails and no response despite the voicemail saying they’ll respond in 24-72 hours. I even reached out the the dermatology for animals main phone line and a staff member there took my info and said she would email the Tucson staff to try and get me an appointment. Still nothing. I understand being busy but how are they booked out so far with appointments if no one can actually get through to make an appointment?

Too bad Google won't allow 0 stars. The customer service from this business is horrendous, and shows how much they care about their patients. I had called more than a year ago to book an appointment only for the receptionist to book me to the wrong location. After several phone calls and angry emails, they booked me to the right location. That being said, once the appointments were made and my cat was being given treatment, that's when all communication stopped. Their voicemail says they'll respond in 24-48 hours, however you're lucky to get any response at all. There are no excuses for not responding especially when a change in treatment is needed and it's a non-emergency concern. My recommendation for others is to look elsewhere for dermatology for your pet as the staff here are completely incompetent at responding to your serious concerns.
