Desert Financial Credit Union, Phoenix AZ

We had an appointment to start the process of a will and the rep, denise didn’t even show up. No phone call to say she couldn’t make it. No phone call to say sorry. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. This is making me re think my options.

Extremely poor customer service. Woman in the front did not even greet when we arrived. Seemed frustrated to open an account for us. Very disappointing experience.

I've had nothing but issues with this bank and my auto loan. Leslie quezada helped me out last week, I was approved and now I'm just waiting for her to call me for the paperwork. She didn't answer All day on Monday, no one called me back and today, Tuesday, she doesn't answer at all again. I left a voicemail but no call back. Someone got my number and said they will call me but no one has. It's so ridiculously frustrating, the guy selling me the car is so mad and about to quit on me. I already lost one car due to their lack of communication and they messed my application up.

I am a little frustrated with this place in general and my last interaction solidified my opinion. My card was somehow cloned and used, so I needed to cancel my card and get a new one. I went into the branch and their machine for making new cards was broken. They quoted me 5 days to get a new card or charge me $20 for expedited (not next day delivery). I am even more upset because I had to reach back out to dispute another transaction and they told me the actual time frame would be 7-10 days. Just not happy that they want to charge me because their machine is broken. Desert Financial acts more like a bank and not a local credit union at this point!

What can I say, It's a Bank. I hardly ever wait more than 5 min and take care of my transactions. Small but nice people there.

I don't have an account with this branch YET, but the service I receive while making a deposit for my rent is great.

ALWAYS pleasant and helpful staff from the moment when you walk inthe door to when you are headed out- very nice place to do our banking.

Came to cash my accident check to pay my bills and some stuck up old lady behind the glass tells me I have insufficient funds to cover the check so it will be on hold till next week. I've been banking with DS for years and still they steal my money. I'll say this, chase never "held" my checks.

Best place ever! I am always treated like family there! Best branch ever! I always recommend this branch.

Be careful of overdraft fees, this institution is looking to profit in any way possible from their clients. This includes a high monthly service charge and also very high overdraft fees. If you are looking for an institution that will mishandle your money than please try out DSFCU but if you would like to save money I would suggest trusting your money with people who have a better reputation.
