Desert Financial Credit Union reviews
6I multiple times had troubles using their ATM and online banking. I am a young adult so every penny I get from work counts. The ATM took $265 dollars meant to pay bills with and spit out a sorry there was a problem receipt. I called the guy on the phone didn’t seem to care or believe me and says we will get back to you in a few days. The whole point of a bank is to keep my hard worked money safe and desert financial has ruined that for me so I will no longer be banking with them. So if you want the luxury of modern day banking so you don’t have to walk up to a teller than don’t bank with them.
I personally have had great experiences here. Lexi, Celia, Britt and all the girls are knowledgeable, quick and always friendly! Should be called Desert Family! Thanks guys!
So beyond frustrated with this CU. I've been with them for just over four years now. Everything was great until I had my car refinanced with them. First I was talked into some sort of protection where if I lose my job they'd cover the payment for up to three months. I was laid off applied to skip one month while I looked for a job. I did find a job but got turned down because I didn't miss more than 30 days of work. There is a monthly fee of just over $20 a month and I still got turned down? That should be explained when it's being offered. I've called my local branch since I recently traded my car in and I was inquiring about my gap refund. Prorated of course like the dealerships do. They refuse to return my call so I called the call center and spoke with someone, who was new so I was put on hold a bunch of times. First she got my info after I explained my reason for calling and I got questioned about my last gas purchase, I told her my information and she explained the price was right there were no additional charges. I wasn't asking about my gas charge, my car loan! After we got on the same page I was advised to go to my branch to sign the waiver to get my refund then asked me to hold yet again, then came back and stated that I would of have to if cancelled after the first 60 days. Cancel? I traded my car in, I've always gotten my prorated refund back? I was beyond mad at this point and then she had the nerve to say they are having a special if I wanted to apply for a visa! Seriously? !?
