Desert Lakes Apartments reviews
21Never again will ever consider living there again. One female in the office which I will not name is very rude and she thinks she owns all the parking spots including parking spot 219 her kids come in and go out of the apartment complex with no rules whats so ever. Rent was a bit expressive. The apartment itself (ONLY) was okay pretty clean. Area peaceful. The parking space a total 100% pain. Calling for any questions a pain! Office staff rude! Negative vibes all around
Been living here for a while now. Everything about this place is beautiful. Enjoy the indoor gym is always clean and welcoming. The playground has been renovated. The landscape around makes the apartments look x10 better.
The visitor parking here is a joke. If you are in the front by the leasing office, you can find a spot. If you are in the back, FORGET ABOUT FINDING PARKING. Visitors have to walk all the way across the entire complex just to park. AND raising rent? A sad joke.
Nice, quiet, clean and affordable community in a convenient location. Leasing agents and maintenance techs are excellent and do their job well and make living here easy!
When I first moved in I liked the apartments a lot but things have changed. Water is shut off every Wednesday for ”repairs”. The parking is a joke, you’re consistently getting harassing emails about the current parking rules and how the office is finally enforcing them. I lived here for two years you mean this entire time the rules didn’t apply? The office staff isn’t very friendly nor professional. The office is very unorganized especially when sending informative emails (information given, time, date something is always incorrect). I had an issue with the night drop box because of the office staff not knowing where my rent payment was. During the whole nightmare I was told to repay my rent because of their lack of organization how many people are just going to hand over another thousand dollars like nothing. Eventually my rent payment was found but the lack of communication between the staff was the issue one person knew where it was while others didn’t. We now have a packaging room that we have to pay for because the office no longer wants to accept packages for residents. Personally I always had my packages delivered to my apartment now I get the privilege of walking to the packaging room to collect my packages. As for my apartment itself the inside is about a 7 better than most apartments. I got to see my actual apartment before I rented it which is always good so there were no major surprises. The microwave that came with the apartment was broken when I moved in but I have a microwave from my previous place that I prefer to use. Maintenance is decent and you can choose the day for your repairs. The overall community is decent I personally don’t have any bad neighbors and I do feel safe in my home. The apartment complex is clean I live in the front so I cannot speak for the back. My rent has gone up significantly since I moved in but the location is convenient enough for me. Overall I would give the apartments a 4 on a 1-10 scale honestly it’s the changes the management is ruining the apartments themselves most of the changes have been in the benefit of the management not the residents. If we are talking value for the money my apartment is on the more expensive side.
Been living here to past two months and I've enjoyed the peace and quiet here. Apartment grounds are kept safe at night with the security patrolling around. Moving In was very easy thanks to office staff
I lived here for almost two in half years. I always felt safe here with my kids. The grass is always cut. I have never seen dog poop. The one of the matainence always respond to request in a timely manner. Most of my neighbors lived here for years. Security is nice and the gates are locked at night.
This is the only complex we've ever renewed at. Since we've moved in I recommended my mother and she also moved in. Quiet and well maintained.
Cancelled my payment plan for 300 dollars of my last month cost me 1200! Paid it off years ago! Turns out they still have it on my credit screwing up my house buying process! Don't move in here two faced nice as hell until you sign that lease!
My experience here at Desert Lakes Apartments has been amazing so far. I’ve lived here 2 months now and I’d say they are on top of everything around here. Maintenance responds fast. Landscaping always kept up. Shrubs and bushes looking perfect! Love the whole atmosphere here! Highy recommend!
We are happy here. The complex is well maintained, and the ladies in the office are professional and friendly. I can tell the owner takes pride in the property.
The manager Richard is not nice. Also, they have rats that they haven't managed to control in months
I been living here at beautiful dessert lakes apt 20-yrs and i lov it peaceful and beautiful i enjoy the comfort of my apt the landscaping the ponds fill with beautiful fish the gym and pools no place like home and Virginia.and danyell and the staff are so nice come home to comfort dessert lakes apt michael Elliott
How do we know these are not paid reviews? Just to lure people. The roaches review is concerning to me. Don't want to live in an infested area.
This is my house two years ago and I live very happy with my family, it is clean and has a lot of security, the office staff is friendly, I love Desert Lakes.
I been living here since 2009 if I could sign my lease for another 10 years I would because I love it here! And they have a security guard that keeps everybody safe.
Moved in about a month ago from out of state to one of the remodeled updated apartnents, was like moving into a brand new apartment.could still smell the fresh paint.had a small issue with dishwasher that maintenance came on a Saturday to look at.that's unheard of any where I've lived.office staff is awesome, especially danielle.the complex itself is quite and secured.currently remodeling the pool so that is s bummer.but is a temp thing.would recommend this place to anyone.
A great place to live. I've lived here for 1 year and 9 months and I've never had any complaints. I feel safe here, it is a gated community. At night there is a security guard patrolling the residence. Very quiet place to live, no loud music, and super clean. Danielle and Virginia are an asset to this place and they are very nice and friendly. Highly recommend Desert Lakes with the highest regard.
Great apartment complex! We have been living here and haven't had any issues. The staff is nice and helpful and the area and apartments are clean. I would highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice community apartment complex.
I have lived here for over 2 years now and enjoy it. The apartment itself is in great condition, management has always been friendly, maintenance responds in a quick fashion, and very well taken care of all around. Its a very quiet place and people keep to themselves. Its clean at all times and with real grass for the puppies to play in.the neighborhood is not the best but with the gates and the security guard a night keeping an eye on everything its nice and feels safer. I would recommend this to anyone.
