My wife and I have been going here for just over two years. They had a few problems with answering phones in the beginning. Since they have moved to their new location. They have excelled on answering phones and communication etc. They even have a nice patient portal. You can see your notes and meds. They have grown quite a bit all for the better. Dr Phil Glotser is great. I cant express how great-full I am for his help. He Easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable on anything I ask medically. It’s just turned into a great place with so many options for your health and a great staff!

I have been a patient at Desert Sage Behavioral Health for over 3 years. Before they moved to their new location there were some issues with phones being answered and billing. That being said, the quality of behavioral health was very good. Now that they are in the new location, they have more staff and offer more ground breaking mental health treatment. Just as the pandemic began my mental health had been the most stable it had been my entire life. Then over a couple weeks I began to become severely exhausted and suffered painful joint and muscle pain. Dr. Phillip Gloster ran a series of unusual request and discovered a rare autoimmune disorder. I may have had it most of my life and was suffering a severe flare. Normally disorder is treated by a rheumatologist, but we couldn’t find a single rheumatologists in Tucson that were not booked for two months out. Through the trial and error of different medications and working with Daniel Chavetz, the nurse practitioner who began treating me when I first came to Desert Sage Behavioral Health, they kept me out of the hospital, and made it possible to continue working as a COVID-19 Investigator for the State. Today, I have been symptom free for 3 weeks. I highly recommend Desert Sage Behavioral Health.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

They nearly never answer the phones, nearly never call back when you leave a message, typically refuse to refill medications without an appointment before they authorize a monthly refill so expect to go a few days without medications if you accidentally miss your appointment before your refill is due. I'd recommend finding a different psychiatrist that won't require seeing you on a monthly basis to make sure you don't miss a dose, and so you don't break your bank just because you have severe depression and need mood stabilizers to function properly because those appointments are expensive even with insurance. The Neurologist Phil G.was the best help I had of all the appointments I had to make with the practitioners there, so he would be the only person I'd say is absolutely worth the visit to. Nobody is mean, the staff is friendly enough. Those are really the only reasons I gave them more than one star.
