7Absolutely beautiful place with incredible amenities that you wouldn't even see in the nicest hotel. The management is incredibly nice, professional, and most importantly hospitable. There is absolutely everything that you need here. This place is more like a resort than a retirement home. It's like a permanent vacation within a huge building. Theater, game rooms, 24-hour refreshments, library, office, event areas, a pool, and much more. Most certainly recommended as everyone here seems happy and upbeat and that's always a good sign.
My first impression was the open bright space and a welcoming reception.
However the management is brutally rude and contientious when maintenance problems are reported. Most are ignored.
Great management, Great Residince who live there if you go on a tour there ask for Allan or Natalie they are managers there they are absolutely Great people I work with the staff and residents there through another company that I worked for top notch Retirement living I highly recommended and encourage taking a tour if your interested in Desert Springs at all (:
Great facility, food, management, lodging. Also great Activities Director Jeanette Simi who is amazing with all she plans for us, the decorations are incredible and she is a nonstop worker, but will always stop to assist, listen and share a laugh.
My grandma, Cathy R, has lived there for 6 yrs and loves it there. She has made many friends & the staff have always been very helpful to her over the years. I have been there many times myself & it's always clean, friendly, & the food is usually very good. The apartments are nice & the price is very reasonable.
Poor business practices, invasive non stop marketing and disregard for COVID-19 protocols make this place worth avoiding at ALL costs. I can not believe they still hold their license. AVOID.
I do not recommend this community my Mother lived there and it us poorly managed the food is not good, the house cleaning is poor quality. The turn over in management speaks volumes. The cost is less than some places but look further. I'm so sorry my Mom put up with this place.
