18 The financing department is shady, I will never do business with them again. We have filed a compliant with the AZ Attorney General's office consumer compliant division due to their fraudulent practices. My fiancée bought a car over a month ago and traded in her old vehicle (a 2014 Scion FRS) - unfortunately she trusted them to pay the loan off. Now it's been over a month, they haven't paid the loan, and due to their negligence she is on the hook for 2 cars. Not to mention that Wells Fargo sent her a letter raising her payment by $50/month due to an increased rate, and since they haven't paid off the trade-in she has no ability to re-finance.
This branch did her so dirty, you should be ashamed of yourselves. The worst mistake we made was walking in that door.

This review is directed towards Ed Campbell, he is absolutely wonderful! I always come in unexpected and he always makes me feel welcomed and not rushed even when he is extremely busy. He makes me feel like a priority every single time. He even taught me how to change my air filter to show up my boyfriend. He is just so pure with a good heart, we need more Ed’s in the world. If I could give Ed a hug I would, thank you for everything Ed you truthfully are very appreciated on my behalf:).
I've bought several vehicles from this dealership and it has been a pleasant experience each time. I still shop around just to assure myself that the deals I get are great ones. This latest time my family and I were shopping for a 2021 Sienna. I love this van! It is very much refreshed up to modern times. I love the Apple Carplay feature and there are both USB type A and type C plugs in several areas of the vehicle. Claudia was our sales person and she was unbelievable. She was knowledgeable about the vehicle. Some things were promised on delivery that were forgotten and she was the one that remembered and made sure we received everything. Upon delivery we walked to the Sienna to get ready to drive it away and she was on the ground detailing it! Quincy was our finance person. This is usually the part I don't like but it was a breeze with him. We told him the only products we were interested in and he quickly went through all the other options in order to get us out. We finalized our deal with the sales manager, Patrick. He was really friendly and there wasn't any BS. He asked what we needed to make the deal happen and got us what we asked for. I should be looking to replace our 2nd vehicle soon and I'm confident that it will come from Desert Toyota again.
Kindra was awesome she saved Toyota a loyal customer. I was ready to break up and start walking. Talking and telling everyone about my bad experience. She made me feeeeel so much better. Thank you everyone for the help. I will be back
Liam Chesnick was very helpful in finding the vehicle I wanted. Liam was knowledgeable about the vehicle and went out of his way to help us in all areas.
Atticus was personable and pleasant. He was knowledgeable about each car we looked at (Highlander, Camry SE, and Camry XLE Hybrid), and answered all my questions. The whole team I dealt with helped make the purchase easy, including Tyler and Inka.
Claudia was a pleasure to work with. She kept in touch by phone and text before we went to the showroom. Once at the dealer she knew her inventory and the details of the cars. She creatively helped us close the deal on a great car, and we drove off the lot in our new Toyota shortly afterward. One of the top sales persons we've ever worked with. Thank you Claudia!

This has been our second experience working with the exceptional Jeff Gwash. He is very knowledgeable with all the vehicles at Toyota and the purchasing process.
Even though we ran into some issues due to the covid pandemic everything about purchasing a truck or SUV was challenging.
Jeff went above and beyond to get us what we requested and needed. He definitely was there for us through this whole process. He always answered our calls even on his days off.
He treated us as family and he loves his tamales!
I found a used car that I was interested in, so I called before showing up to confirm its availability. I was told that this specific car I was interested in WAS available. So I made an appointment and showed up. When I showed up, the rep was not aware of my appointment, but I told him the car I was looking for. He tried searching the lot but could not find it. He then called someone to check where the car was, and learned that the car had a bad engine and HAD BEEN PUT UP FOR AUCTION ALREADY. Not to mention it has been on their website for at least a week, when I first saw it, or more. How unprofessional and time-wasting that whole experience was. Don't plan on coming back.
Went to Desert Toyota to test drive a hybrid Camry. Met Victor. Very nice guy. He explained all the advantages of the car, took us for a test drive, and lead us through the purchase process. Very knowledgeable and kind. We’ve purchased 7 cars inn10 years, by far best experience. Thank you to Victor and Desert Toyota team.
Overall 5 star. Jared and his team helped out alot. To go above and beyond, treating you like family. Jared and his team I appreciate yall and all you did for me. My family and I are loving the new car! Especially myself with all the new features and smooth ride. Again I appreciate all you did keep it up! Yall are amazing! I won’t go to another place for service - these folks are simply amazing. Genuine, budget conscious, honest, and the most helpful service department I’ve ever worked with. Women often get played for fools when it comes to anything cars, but not here, and I really appreciate that.

The salesman I worked with didn't know much about the cars. When I asked him for details about the trims, he routinely made up false answers. When I looked it up later, it was clear that he was wrong. One example is that I asked why the higher Highlander trims have larger wheels and he said it was because the vehicle was heavier, which a) doesn't make sense, and b) isn't even true, they're the same weight. Another example is when I said I wanted to test the digital rearview mirror on the Platinum trim and he said "we don't have a Platinum on the lot but we have a Limited with that feature". I told him the website says the Limited doesn't have that feature and he insisted that it does, so I asked him to go look it up and a few minutes later he came back and admitted he was wrong. I'm not a car expert, I'm just a random guy who has done a little research-I shouldn't know more about the cars than the salespeople do!
If they don't know the answer to a question, they SHOULD say "I don't know, let me look into that for you", but instead they just make stuff up. (Or maybe they think they know and they're just wrong? Not sure which is worse.) Don't listen to what these salespeople tell you.

Went to Desert Toyota looking to a Highlander that was about 32,000 with a bench seats and they needed to be leather. Between Austin Kinney and Tommy the Manager of the used cars we ended up looking at 3 cars we could not fine what we were looking for, but we went ahead a test drove one of the Highlands that had a bench seat. When we return Tommy found the Highland we were looking for, They both made us feel very comfortable and was try hard to make sure we left with the right car and for that we thank you
I was extremely disappointed by the customer service provided by the service department. They were extremely rude and “man-splained” driving and my car to me in a way which made me feel as though my concerns were not being taken seriously in any capacity. This was by far been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a service provider. I do not recommend you visit this location. There are much better customer service orientated Toyota dealerships in Tucson.
Good sale man good customer service, but be careful about a financing guy. Financing guy will run couple credit report on you even though your first financial was approved by Toyota financial services, I was approved for 1.99% by Toyota financial services and I agreed we sign, but the paper arrived is financing by Wells Fargo which is 2.99%.
