Excuse my punctuation lol)

I’ve lived here for almost 8 years…. So much has changed

They don’t care - since inflation and Covid we struggle to pay rent on time as many of us do here. So when renewing time came around I asked with time if there is someone we can talk to in corporate that would let us keep our rent as is or not raise too high since we are already paying it late. Leasing manager Michele said well u can go look elsewhere or pay it.
Didn’t want to give me a name or number. When I told her moving out is just as expensive- she told me - that is not her issue she does not worry about how much it is because she’s not a renter…. We went from 1,500 to almost 1,800. I asked why ours had gone up so high when 3 of our resident friends had told us they are paying way less or their rent only increased by a little not that high. Instead of her responding back to me directly she sends her assistant to communicate with me and tells me two different excuses.
. 1 was - because they moved us to a month to month plan. (Which is more). Never communicated this with us prior.

2nd excuse was - the lease is only for 6mos. (When it’s always been a full year.)

They want you to pay so much when our vinyl got done two days later glue was coming out of the floors. Had the same guy come out many time to fix it and each time they come and add more glue to help it sick! U can walk and glue comes out of the sides. We actually took most of them out ourselves and fixed it.

One time they could not get ahold of me (I work can’t be on my phone) assistant saw my 8 year old and started talking to him about our situation. I immediately asked her to never talk to my son regarding anything. (it was about my 5 day notice)

They will send you emails about old complains that have already been resolved.

They expect you to pay so much with no upgrades. We still have old as appliances.

Even THOMAS ROAD has better appliances

Not a joke but come on.

They used to care about who lives here now they don’t. Like others said you have cops here almost everyday.

They’ve lost tents rent before.

Miscommunication

They let ppl live here that let their families move in and when u say something just because they don’t see it they can’t do anything. Even tho u see 3-5 cars for one unit?

Michele expects you to be polite to her while she can keep you on hold for periods of time, says she will get back to u and never does
And blames for you for not following up and when u do she says I WILL CALL YOU.

She blames everything on corporate (I’m waiting for them to call me back
I have to ask them
They are not in
They don’t always respond)

If you have ONE conversation I’d say record it because one says one thing and then later the the other person will say different and you will end up looking bad because it’s their word over yours. Always

I used to love living here but these people don’t care.

I have emails, pictures, videos. Let me know if I should post.

The management has undergone changes, but unfortunately, they have shown little concern for the residents. Law enforcement visits are frequent due to resident conflicts, resulting in a lack of peaceful moments on the property. The office rarely demonstrates care for the property or its ongoing issues. Consequently, the overall condition has deteriorated significantly, with trash and dog waste scattered throughout. The tenants exhibit a lack of cleanliness, with balcony clutter resembling a shanty town. Additionally, the property experiences break-ins, and homeless individuals trespass and swim in the pool by jumping the fence. Despite residing here for an extended period, corporate shows no interest in addressing maintenance or upgrades, yet they are quick to propose an exorbitant $1800 per month rent increase. Requests for repairs are seldom fulfilled promptly or on the initial call.
