Dignity Health AZ General Hospital Emergency Room - Tempe - Rural Rd.

Staff literally yells at other staff when discussing patients. In front of them. Also Shawn was HORRIBLE to me. I was there due to a work injury with a deep laceration to my finger. As he was ripping off a a paper towel that was stuck to my inner skin. I yelled once. Loudly said “ow! ” Because it was an intense pain. He then proceeded to leave slamming the door. My partner and I were saying wow he’s got a lot of attitude, but ignored it. Then when he comes back he’s soaking it and I’m not yelling or being loud at all. Only expressing how much it hurts. He then closes the door almost all the way shut. As he was in the hallway he did a 360 and looked me dead in the eyes and said. “Try not to yell so much”. Then closed the door. I look at my partner in tears asking “ did that really just happen? “Why is he being so mean to me? ” We’re now I said. Thankfully my bf talked me into not leaving and getting my finger taken care of, but around the dr he was completely different being nice ect. Then what the DR left he was completely rude again. I am traumatized from drs now. I cannot believe he got away with that. My jaw is still on the floor. SHAWN IS HORRIBLE TO PATIENTS.

Absolutely terrible experience, I would not recommend it. Extremely unprofessional staff that made someone with cardiac complaints wait 20 minutes to be evaluated with an EKG. The EKG tech was extremely rough with me, and pushed my breast tissue up to where it hurt, the nurse pulled off the electrodes, worsening the EKG tech's mood.

Staff was extremely rude and doctor was not much better by asking "Really, your entire life? ". Upon delivering a urine sample to the collection bin, there was someone else's urine in the bin already. Room was poorly lit, and nurse was going to attempt to draw blood. I am a hard stick, and told her this. She did not care. Ended up refusing due to her attitude and lack of care regarding this matter which can blow out my veins, and it's happened before. This place was not busy, but moved at a snail's pace. Decided to go AMA, due to all these issues. The doctor was very rude and did not care about my concerns, despite me telling her I was going to a different facility and not going home. It took an additional 15 minutes to get my insurance card and driver's license back from the front desk.

Staff cares more about having conversations about movies, where they moving to, and laughing loudly than processing tests and caring for patients. Upon going to the second facility (Chandler Regional Hospital) which was 10x busier, I was treated with respect and dignity regarding my symptoms. The people at this facility have no bedside manner or respect for sick people. Avoid.

Everyone was very nice. My wait time was less than 10 minutes. I was in & out within 40 minutes.

Dr Wilson and RN Erica Williams were eceptional providers. They were friendly, professional, informative and most of they genuinely cared.

I am so sick of this place and have only used it for convenience.
The last two visits have been horrible.
First visit my son, who has ADHD had a complete meltdown for about 20 minutes and I can see in the nurses eyes she was judging him. And then the doctor came in with a dirty look saying "is this normal behavior? "

Then today I brought my youngest son in for an ear infection. I told the doctor he was tugging at both ears and pointing inside his mouth saying it hurt.
Doctor mentioned doing a strep swab but when he looked in only one ear he saw it was infected he didn't even bother looking in the other ear because "it will get treated regardless" didn't even bother looking in his mouth because "antibiotics will treat strep if he has that too"
What if my son had something else serious going on in his mouth or other ear?

I've never encountered one nice staff member here who seems like they truly care about the patients.

Check in was vary easy and the front office was cordial and professional. Ruth the nurse was professional and courteous and easy talk to and was concerned about my needs. I've seen Dr. Wilson in the past. He was again professional and courteous and explained things well in layman's terms. I would consider Dr. Wilson and Ruth to be valued employees. This was a good experience.

The Dignity Health mini hospital on Rural and Baseline that I have visited is superb!
Dr Wilson, Leanne and Aida were fast and efficient. Very nice people.
The hospital itself is so clean that you feel very safe.

I was very pleased with Dr. Wilson he was very informative and answered all my questions! He gave me a peace of mind. After having so many concerns with my injury especially because I’m diabetic he really made me feel so much better! And my nurse was very polite and helpful. My son was seen for an earache with Dr. Wilson he was great super nice answered all our questions definitely really cared. The front receptionist was nice and friendly our nurse Chris was also amazing. I just want to say thank you Dignity health we will definitely be back

Dr Wilson and Rachel provided Compassionate and efficient medical services within the 3 hour appointment. I came out with a great feeling of knowing i was on the path to recovery. With prescriptions in hand within 3 hours symptoms began to disappear. I feel better today then the previous 17 days. I was afflicted with the flu. For what more could I ask?

Dr. Keller, was very friendly, personable, and gave my grandma very clear and easy to follow instructions.

Dont even bother checking in online you still have to check in when you arrive and no estimate on wait times.

Dr. Wilson and staff always provide excellent service and patient support! I have a big family so whether we get sick or just need a 2nd opinion, I prefer to bring them here! Been coming here a long time as the location is conveniently located close to home. Thank you all for years of kindness, and always showing extra concern. Truly appreciate you all!

Despite the amount of people in the waiting room they were quick and polite. Doctor came in and was able to prescribe me with much needed muscle relaxers for my back pain.

DO NOT COME HERE! Not only will they nickel and dime you for every little thing but they will treat you like trash. I went in for a migraine headache and left with a $7500 bill.they charged me $600 per Iv Push (administering medication via IV) while also giving me no other options for taking the medication. I was charged a total of $2400 just to receive the medications via IV that I also had to pay for. I was charged $500 for benedryl, Zofran, ibuprofen and Xanax all of which only cost a few dollars at the pharmacy.they gave me too much benedryl and Xanax and I started to feel really scared because of how not normal I felt and they told me to “calm down” and “nothing was wrong” which was basically telling me to shut up. Because I went in complaining of debilitating pain and am covered in tattoos they treated me like a junkie seeking drugs and refused to treat me until doing labs, I’m assuming so they could drug test me. I’m a mom who was breast feeding at the time and being treated less than human was not the experience I was seeking when asking for help for migraine pain.it was 5am and had I had any other option I would have sought it out. Doctors kept asking me why I was there and what I wanted them to do for my migraine like I was wasting their time seeking help and annoying them even though I was the only person in the ER (I was throwing up and unable to walk the pain in my head was so severe) I would NEVER seek help here for any emergency in the future.this was the worst ER experience I’ve ever had in my life.had I known my migraine would cost me $7500 and I’d be treated less than human I would have just stayed home and suffered there. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE.
