Discount Tire, Tempe AZ

I was in desperate need for a quick tire change due to a flat. I called this location and Tyler got me squared away in record time. Incredibly grateful for their great service.

Covid note: I felt very comfortable the whole time. They are flexible with you checking in while staying in your car and the only time I had to be out of my car was when it was up on the lift.

Stopped by to get the free air check at Discount. Young man helping was very friendly and after he was done he informed me that I needed a new tire ASAP. I had just dropped my daughter & grandson off at his 3 month check up. There were only 2 cars in the bays so I figured it was good timing. I pulled up and registered my vehicle, parked, then went inside, gave my info and paid for the tire. It was 9: 35 and I was told I'd have my car by 10: 45. My daughter called at 1030 to be picked up but my car hadn't even been pulled back yet so I asked her to wait for a little bit while they replaced the tire. She called 20 min later and I asked her to just Uber to Discount. At 1055 I was finally asked for my keys and my car was pulled back. Another 20 min passed by and I see 2 people leave that got there after me so I asked the manager if he could tell me how much longer my car would be because in 10 more minutes it would have been 2 hours I was waiting. He stepped into the garage area and said, the tire was replaced the car just needed the other 3 tires to be checked for air. Obviously he didn't even look at the paperwork because he would have known I was advised to get a new tire from the air check guy. There was no excuse for it to have taken that long with only 3 customers and cars there when I arrived. No apologies given and had I not spoken up after 1 hr and 50 minutes, my wait would surely have been much longer.

Waited 2.5 hours for them to tell me they couldn’t help me patch my tire. Don’t waste your time like me.

Preston is doing an amazing job! He is very helpful and goes above and beyond. I need a special tool for my lug nuts. He did everything he could and found how I can get it. He is a wonderful example of what customer service should be.

I had to purchase 4 new tires as we are moving cross country. My tire size isn’t usually an in stock size tire. I had set up an appointment with the service tech, (who will remain nameless) suggested I have a different size put on my car since it is usually an in stock tire. I went in and had them installed, Tyler B checked my car in that day. They installed the tires and when I checked them before going in for my key the tires looked like they didn’t fit quite right. Tyler B came out looked at my car and agreed. Tyler was able to get 4 tires for me by the following day. He even made suggestions based on the weather where we were moving. I had the tires installed today and they look much better. They had left grease on my tires from the installation. Tyler went in and got a rag and cleaned all of them up. Tyler exemplifies stellar customer service and makes sure his customers are happy! He deserves a raise he is a hard working young man!

Super nice guys. Had tires done at another location a while back. They over tightened my lugs at another location. These guys were kind enough to spend a little extra time to loosen and then retighten my lugs to manufacture spec with a torque wrench, even though they were super busy that morning.

Thanks to discount tires I was able to get back on the road that day when everyone else didn't have my tires in stock or I was goin to wait a day or two.thank you guys we made it home safe!

Great service. Had a nail in my tire, they took it out, fixed my tire and did a quick tire rotation. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Friendly staff. Clean waiting room.

Awesome! Quick and friendly. No high pressure sales. Everything was ready at my appointment time and I was back on the road with 4 new tires in under 45 minutes.

Amazing! My brand new car to me had a nail in its tire. They fixed it for free in less than hour. For free! Thank you because I had to drive all the way back to Flagstaff. Highly recommended place

These guys are always helpful. They have fixed many flats for us for free and always give us a discount on tires. We highly recommend them.

New to the area and have always used a different store that doesn't exist in Arizona. Stood in line for over 30 minutes before being greeted. My daughter had a volleyball game at 8: 45. After waiting 35 minutes to check car in to talk to someone, I had to leave so I wouldn't miss kids first game in Arizona. Will go to Costco later. This is the only feedback I can give.

Love this place. The service is always great for me and this past visit just made me appreciate it even more. Just patching a hole in my tire but Philip was very courteous and awesome in helping me out! I came in a bit disgruntled and left with a smile on my face. Thanks Philip for the fantastic customer service and thanks Discount Tire for always taking care of me!

They are very friendly people. Provided some honest info about my car tire. Patched up my tire without asking for a single dollar. They will be my first priority when I decide to change my tire.

Discount Tire is the most professional, honest and accommodating tire company in the Valley. I arrived at 5pm with a nail in my tire. I rushed in and asked for help. I told the rep that I would come back tomorrow if they were closing. He said they would stay opened as long as it took to ensure my tire was fixed. Wow! This company is unbelievable!

Very disappointed with the service! The new tire pressure was so far off, my gas mileage really suffered. I thought a tire place would take the time to check that. My biggest complaint is I had to ask for my tire value cover back. I have a fairly new car with special covers and you would think they would care.

They bait you with, free tire service,
Then try to make you buy a tire.
Oh by the way, I bought my tires maybe a year ago NEW. They say there to bald. A tiny nail in the treads.
(Watch out for shady sales, Tactics).

A little inconvenient for the air check, however discount tire centers is an great company. Always good experience whenever I'm at a discount tire center.

I had a miscommunication error regarding a spare tire. Robert solved the problem without delay. It is refreshing to find individuals with integrity.
