Discount Tire, Peoria AZ

Here's the deal. I stopped by two days ago for a flat tire repair. I was told if I waited it would be a couple of hours or i could make an appointment. The next appointment was two days later at 9: 30 this morning, which I accepted. I was about 10 minutes early, so as I waited I watched the cars going in and out. Much to my dismay I saw several people get their cars done ahead of me. The final insult was when a gentleman in a BMW with a 10: 45 appointment was brought into the the bay after waiting about 5 minutes and I had been waiting 28 minutes. Apparently Discount Tire provides 'special' priority to some people who buy tires online and make their own appointments. While this may make that customer happy, it made me feel quite disrespected. I finally got into the bay and the car was ready at 10: 11, about 51 minutes total wait. To add insult to injury, at least one car came in after had been waiting a while with a flat and NO appointment and their tire was off and being repaired while mine was still in the bay. I talked to an assistant manager about my experience and got no apology, only corporate speak about how many vehicles they get through in an hour on average, etc. NOT what I wanted to hear. I gave up and told him i would continue the discussion online. Fast forward and on the way home my TPMS showed 34 and the factory recommendation is 36. Not that big of a deal, but when I went to add air when I got home there was no valve cover on the repaired tire. Again, not a big deal but it's the little things that add up. I have used Discount Tire many times over the years and have had a very good overall experience, but this was something I could not ignore and felt compelled to share my perception about how I was treated today.

Really need to schedule a time to get in to discount as they are very busy all the time. Check-in guy, Tom, was awesome. Went there on a Tuesday without an appointment and waited two hours before deciding I would come back Wednesday. Talked to Tom and he gave me his card and said give him a call Wednesday morning and he would get me in. Gave him a call Wednesday morning and he was able to get me in at 3 pm. I got there at three and was out of there by four pm. They got me in pretty quickly, I was given the choice of waiting in the vehicle or I could get out wait inside or outside. Choice to stay in car and enjoyed the guys working and singing as they worked on all the vehicles. Wish I could remember the name of the guy that helped me with a nail in my tire. He was a nice young man and was able to fix me up at no charge. I'll always go there for my tire needs. Wish they were on the east coast as I drive back every summer and would love if my tire needs could be served by Discount tires there

Incredibly quick - I was in and out very fast. They do a great job with being organized, friendly and polite at this location without being pushy.please note - not everyone does a great job of wearing their masks at this location. If you are sensitive to this type of thing, they have a handy outside check-in spot and you do not need to wait inside, so you can avoid others.

I really recommend this location.

Jose was the gentleman that I worked with today. And he was amazing. Everyone at this location was nice, friendly and they're super fast. I will be back for all my tire needs.

Called about tire sensor that is acting up, they said i need to come in to review. Stopped in and after waiting they said I need to see guy out front to get onlist. After giving my phone they said wait at truck maybe 5mins. 15mins later and 2 others who parked next to me walked in and out with an adviser helping them. I left after 20 mis.screwed up system.

You cannot leave your car for them to pull it in the bay. Have to sit in your car for hours and wait. Absolutely ridiculous.

Bravo Discount Tires! Always providing great service! The teamwork with this crew is so seamless. This is the first time I was in the car watching them in action (because of covid), they are so professional, efficient and quick! Oh and did I mention they fixed my tire for free?

Discount always hustles and works hard to get and keep your business. Expect a wait, because they are popular for those reasons.

Usually pretty good to me, but sometimes, they just don't pay attention. I hate having to visit twice for the same problem, and I hate waiting 2 hours for my car to get pulled into a bay even though I had an appointment.

Wife had tires inspected yesterday because she was driving to flagstaff today. They replaced one and said the rest were good. She had a blow out from another tire. Less than 24hrs from inspection and 100mi from Phoenix.

Fantastic service. Going to the tire store is rarely fun. If I’m visiting here I’m usually a little stressed about a problem. From the moment I walked into the door I was treated with respect and kindness. The time estimate was accurate and they kept me informed. Thank you.

Wouldn’t repair the tire cause it was patched before but after telling them we didn’t want to purchase their tires they just tossed the tire and rim in the back of my daughters car and sent her on her way? Not sure why they couldn’t mount the tire and return. It the way they received it? Sick of the attitude you offer a free tire repair service honor it

The keys were left in the ignition with the engine running for 1.5 hours, sitting in their parking lot. A sloppy smile from the Assistant Manager and apology is apparently supposed to suffice. Car could have been stolen. A lot of gas wasted.

They got me in and out pretty quick. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful and found the right tires for me at the right price.

Went in for new 37 inch tires for my truck and received excellent service from Richard during their memorial day weekend sale event I even received 10% off! Thanks again Richard and team for the excellent work! I'll be back!

I don't leave reviews much for anyone but I was very impressed with this store on Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday, May 29th. Long story short, a tech named Michael who helped me out up front hooked me up with a "loaner" tire while I ordered a discontinued tire on my own for installation to come in at a later date. I know this is something Discount Tire does but can't help but be extremely grateful for the gesture. All the guys at this store were awesome though on top of the free loaner tire and what they did.
