Updating my review since my dogs have been going here for daycare and boarding for over a year now. Hands down would recommend to anyone. They’re amazing and take such great care of my girls. They love going to daycare!

My doggie loves this place. They took very good care of him and they even cleaned his doggie bed for us

My pup hasn’t boarded with them yet, but I found them in a pinch when I thought I needed emergency boarding to be able to travel for work. I called and they were super nice, suggested I bring my dog in for an orientation and evaluation and gave me rates and availability. I ended up not needing them but took my sweet boy in so he’d be registered and ready when I needed him to be able to board there and they were great. He hung out and played a few hours and they sent me a report card and photos from his visit. Super impressed by the staff, the organized manner in which they run, and the facility. Seems great and I will absolutely use them to care for my baby in the future!

By the sounds of constant barking, not much behavioral therapy is going on. Just lots of unhappy dogs together in a yard barking at each other: (

My dog, Bentley, a 5-year-old purebred Maltese, absolutely loves visiting Doggie District for either boarding or day care. The facilities are welcoming and safe and there is plenty of personal attention for all of the animals. I highly recommend it!

My dog loves going here for 1x week daycare to play with other dogs. It's also nice to have a trusted place where I feel safe boarding my dog. We take alot more overnight trips knowing my pup is in good hands.

Therese and her team do a great job at making sure my doggos are in great hands! They love visiting Doggie District while Im away at work. They did an excellent job grooming/deshedding them, too!

Really admire the employee and management when it comes to the care of my dog. They continue to educate me and help me learn the ins and out of my puppy

I can't even express how much I recommend Doggie District Mesa. I've been bringing my dog, Sadie, here for about a year now and I've had nothing but great experiences. Employees at the front desk always welcome us with a smile on their face. My girl has a special meal plan so I needed someone I could trust to keep up with it, and the team here definitely exceeded my expectations! Sadie LOVES it here, always wagging her tail the moment we walk through the door. I suggest bringing your dogs here if you want a place that will be safe, yet fun for your pets!

We really enjoy taking our boy Odin here for daycare and boarding. He's a Dobie and very high energy also, very big. They continue to let us bring him in where another place we used to go to ended up telling us that he's too much and he'll just be put in a room for daycare. No play time. Doggie District will pair him with other high energy dogs so it's a good match. Of there's no dogs he can pair up with, they take him out personally and play with him for a little so, he's at least having some fun during his stay.
I definitely recommend this facility for your fur baby.

Staff are friendly. The manager is patient and dedicated. She really cares by taking the time to listen and help owners. The manager gets five stars.

My dogs’ vet actually recommended Doggie District, so we changed to this daycare about 3 months ago after a few issues we had with his former one (a Dogs 24/7 location). Nobody fully understands how much Archie loves this daycare and how happy he is here until they watch him pull me as he runs full speed towards the door (he’s a 60lb husky btw). On days we don’t bring him in, he paces around the house, giving me puppy eyes so that I feel guilty enough to take him. Haha.
Staff has been amazing; very kind and caring. Also, Alexys, the trainer, is very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place!

New groomer Liz is awesome! Listened to our requests and did her best to salvage everything we wanted on our little Maltese Bam Bam. He went in looking homeless and came out looking cute as ever!

Sadly will be looking for a new day care/groomer.

Used to bring my previous Australian Shepherd here for grooming until he passed. They always did an amazing job.

Got a new Australian Shepherd puppy and thought I would bring him to day care to get some socialization with other dogs. My mistake.

Back to back times of bringing him here they have not bathed him despite having it booked and confirmed. The first time they forgot, apologized and said they would note it to make sure it did not happen again. Guess what? Happened again, blah blah blah short staffed. If this were the case they should have contacted those with scheduled services to advise and see if they still wanted to have doggie day care or re-schedule when the groomer would be available, nope.

Now to add insult to injury. My puppy was only going to be there for a half day and then bathed. When my wife picked up a now very smelly puppy was charged for a full day. When she questioned the charge was told because he was there more than 5 hours. He was there more than 5 hours because he was supposed to be getting bathed. Did they refund the $10 for the overcharge? Nope, gave it as a credit. Pretty much stole the $10 because I have no intention of coming back for a third disappointment.

The person was nice enough (cough cough sarcasm) to remind my wife we could not bring our puppy in once he is six months unless he has been neutered. Not exactly a brilliant move after overcharging us and failing for a second time to bathe my puppy, great job (cough cough sarcasm). Might want to do some staff customer service training. Maybe some math training as well since he isn't even 5 months yet.

Hopefully the owners are paying attention before too many negative reviews start to impact their business.

***Update***
Since the owner responded to the review, I thought I would update the review. Rather than asking the customer to call and ask for the manager perhaps a better option is to have the person responding to the review contact the manager and have them call the customer. I have no interest in wasting anymore of my time and effort. Have located a new business and am moving on.

A great experience for my dog. Daily pics were reassuring in this first boarding experience.

My eight year old lab rescue has been going to our beloved Doggie District for over two years. They helped socialize her and it is the only place I trust to care for my Pattie Cake! The two legged people are always awesome!

We spent a month in Mesa and took our rottweiler, Seamus, to Doggie District on several occasions when we couldn't take him out with us. He absolutely loved it there. The staff is outstanding. Seamus was so excited and would rush inside every time we took him.

So far, we are very happy with the Doggie District. We are bringing our pup there to help socialize him with other dogs.
The staff is very nice and is helpful with extra training and explaining how to work with your dog to make them more obedient.
