Dollar General, Phoenix AZ

Before I went to Dollar general I went on the app and download all the coupons that would benefit me including the ones for Colgate optic White paper plates and paper bowls unfortunately when I got to the counter to pay for this my coupons we're not accepted I asked if they could just put them through and they said no they then told me I had to pay full price or I could just leavethe store because the lines were backing up and they didn't want to help me so I got the manager's name April and said to her you could have been nice and just done it the easy way but she refusedso I called customer service but they were closed but I will follow up tomorrow absolutely horrendous customer service I'm a 58 year-old man and I've never been so badly disrespected and they're only answer was it's not my problem if the app doesn't work you can leave the store now

Because it's convenient from my home, however they're always running out of stock that can be annoying

Seemed to be a bunch of homeless people around, passed out around the side of building like decorations

I will never be going in to this store again I don't know who the heavy set blonde hair lady was but she is really rude, I was in there earlier today I had paid for all my items the dark haired lady it was ok I took them with me to get a couple more things after I had asked doi leave them up front the blonde hair lady must have been following me because she raised her voice and you can shop unless you keep them up front, another incident happened like 5 minutes later a guy in a scooter chair not bothering anyone got told to slow down he was barley moving. Out side the security was harrassing a elderly gentleman this store needs better training y respect for people so shame full I wish it had 0 rating

I would really love to walk into this store and not be stared at or followed like I'm going to steal. I had my children with me and my husband and the staff was so perinod every step we took. I shop here for deals not to be stalked, but also im not from Phoenix and im not use to going into a dollar General and this happening to me. I get it people steal but damn not everyone.

Other than the wait, which was understandable with only one cashier. Found god deals on everything I needed and ended up buying other things that were all great deals

People are somewhat rude here and will follow you around if you look suspicious.not somewhere I go alot.

10 people in line and only one cashier no one called up items where they don't belong miss mixed matched items misplaced and a clutter

The place was not clean. The cashier named Sandra has bad costumer service. She is rudely asking customers to leave their bags in the front. An elderly lady was told while walking in store, “put your bag in the front” she told her “I am, I just want to get a basket first. Sandra responded, ”well it’s much easier to put your bag in the front first but okay”. She was the only cashier and held lines up watching customers making it obvious that she was watching to make sure they didn’t steal. One customer noticed her watching her friend walk out the store and said, “I have her things don’t worry she’s not stealing” and Sandra replied, ”okay I have to make sure haha” that’s not professional at all. Then when it was my turn finally she would tell me every time before scanning my items, ” this isn’t 25 cent” even to things that said $1 $3 and so on. I finally got tired and told her I don’t care I just want to buy my things she told me of I didn’t be quiet I won’t get my things I told her I did not have to listen to her and she called the police on me and lied and told the, I’m be8ng physically aggressive and won’t
Leave the store. I was in such disbelief and felt like the racism and discrimination is not right. She is so disrespectful and needs to be fired. Not good and I will be reporting her to corporate as well. I did not deserve her ignorance and blatant disrespect, neither did the other customers.

This store ripped me of i have never even been in it before and there arecharges on my card. 60.00

Mom and I went there to pick up couple things, OMG the checkout girl must've been stoned cause she kept tossing her head from side to side then arguing about everything and last she tried to run both of our credit cards as checks, what the hell it took us longer to get through the line than shopping did, not going there again.

Nothing but drug addict and not a safe place to go too and it's the worst conner that makes our neighborhood look bad and I hate that the staff don't do more about it!

I love the happy environment and atmosphere when you walk in. Especially when the manager Allison is working. Very helpful as well.

Very sketchy people hanging outside, I was going to stop by but after observing the people hanging outside the store I opted to keep going and ended up at Dollar Tree

Usually starts with stepping over and around trash, debris and overflowing garbage cans to even get in.also need to deal with the bums panhandling both inside and outside. The place is filthy and unorganized. The surface of the parking lot looks cleaner than the surface of the floor in most cases. Staff are lazy and slow. It's not uncommon to stand in line for 15 minutes behind four customers.

Good prices shady people out side tho.the store truely does watch out for their customers though!

Long lines usually and some customersare unruley/rude. There was some drunks in there one time I was there and they were harassing people in the store.

Holy crackheads, Batman! The cashier was sweet, but there are are aome shady characters in the area.

From food to clothes and things in between. But expect to pay more than a dollar for items name can be misleading.
