Dollar General, Mesa AZ

Store is clean sale people are nice but at least 50% of merchandise is not priced. I even told the lady at cash register but she was busy shame 3 items i wanted and probably would have bought

After a long day, I came to Dollar General to pick up a few items. The cashier, April, was EXTREMELY rude to me. I had placed my items on the counter when she proceeded to help the other cashier (she ended of having him move to the register). I quickly moved to honor social distancing. The other cashier took another customer as I continued to wait. I brought this to April’s attention, but she responded with a loud & sarcastic tone. April decided to ring up another transaction for the guy FORCING me to get back in line and my items were still on the counter. I mentioned to April my concern, but she absolutely had NO regard for customer service. I have been a happy customer at this location for the past 2 years. It’s so sad that a “frontline worker” attempts to peacefully purchase migraine relief medication, but had the unpleasant encounter with April. She is not good for the brand. Too much is going on in the world to have to deal with employees, such as April. I pray that this issue is addressed promptly so that other customers don’t have such an unpleasant experience.

Love this store for one reason Location location location. Staff is friendly enough. Store is a little messy that is why I said 4 stars instead of 5. Other then that it's a great store

It is always nice to visit this store because it carries many items that you need for travel and don't want the inconvenience of a drug store like Wal-Mart which gets crowded. The prices are reasonable and the cashiers are professional.

The store needs cleaning up real bad the help is very nice and kind and helpful but even they can't find what they need

This particular store was a Mess. I think they are under a new mgr. And totally under staffed. I like shopping here and I hope they can whip this store in shape soon.

This is one of the junky looking places I've been. Don't go save your time go to a. 99 cent store. Tis particular store is under new MGMT. They said, but please mgrs. Get it together. I'd like to come back there and shop. Help please.

The store is clean just another Dollar General have to say store is extremely wheelchair friendly. Shop there often.

Always out of sale items and non sale items. The worst store ever. Told us to come back when manager is here. We came back and manager was there and available but did not have the authority to do anything. Crazy. How can the manager not have the authority. I guess that's how it goes at a dollar store.

This place would be great if they would clean the mold out of their beverage coolers.refuse to shop at this location anymore because of this reason

Pros: Wide inventory, seems like everything takes it's turn being on Special. Keep you eyes peeled and get some killer bargains. Staff is "folks" and are completely approachable and ready to snap into action. The manager should be proud of them.
Cons: Zip, zero, zilch!
Wishes: Fresh veggies would be good, but I guess that's a corporate deal.

It's a mess, stuff all over the floor? They need more people, one to run the front and another to stock the shelf's. The last time I was there it wasn't​ like this

This place is a disaster, stuff scattered everywhere aisles blocked you can't even walk through it. Waiting to checkout is so inefficient not only with the layout but staffing also. I came here because I thought it would be quicker than Walmart, but I wound up just putting all my stuff down and walking out.

I've has really nice workers here and have had a couple "not so nice " ones. Can't complain about the stock - same as the usual dollar generals. I changed my review because a couple weeks ago i had my son return some laundry soap and the woman who did it went as far as to compare it to another bottle of detergent off the shelf literally! As if he (16) had put something else in the bottle! Ridiculous! So my rating went from 3 down to1
